That would probably be antistropic filtering. Crank it up a bit. Doesn't drop the FPS any significant amount on my rig.

Yup 32GB memory here, still same issue.

I don't know about you, but when I load the map in dcs it loads about 4mb/s from my 2 ssds (raid 0). Other games like PUBG easily loads at 300mb/s. While dcs is loading it's not pinning a core to 100% and it's not using the GPU. So it seems there is something funky going on with the loading from disc.

I have this issue too. 16 GB ram and 2 ssds in raid 0. Long loading times that lead to disconnects and black cockpit. When I manage to get on the server I get freezes for 10+ seconds. During the freezes the SSD activity spikes. Single player works fine.

After playing 8-1 where patriot apparently got taken out by a single su-25 (...) I got to play 8-2 instead. But this mission seems broken. My A-10 does not spawn. When I start the mission I'm looking at a MIG from an F2 instead of the runway from inside my A-10. The mission starts fine if I open the mission in the mission editor and press fly from the top menu.
