Well there is about £400 difference (bigger than I first thought) I can buy a second hand 4090 for about £1800 (yes it is expensive but available) but I can trade in my 3090 for £550, used 58003d for £320 with £140 for my 5900x and both will have a 5 year guarantee as opposed to £250 for a mb, £550 for a 98003d plus another £200 for ram which is cheaper but not sure that it would be better.

Thanks, I retired some time ago so not too fussed about future proofing.

Just had a quick look and there is basically no difference to the cost. So any help will be appreciated.

It is but I want to see if the headset could connect over wifi. I might try the PTC and see if that works. It was running very well so I know the cable is good and dont want the expense of a router and VD. The version I have used to work over the cable. -

Yes to all of the above. My router is too far away, the headset sees it but it doesnt meet all requirements. Is there anyway of forcing a reinstall of the software?According to what I saw it said version 67. but no updates where available. Thanks for your interest. -

My Quest 3 link cable has stopped working. It ran fine yesterday afternoon but in the evening an error report said "some features of meta link are temporally not working". I have tested the cable connection which has 2.8 gbs but the desktop isnt visible. Anyoe else having issues? -
I thought that FC3 owners were going to be able to purchase FC4 for $10. Just looked and it is $60. Is this right? Oooops wasnt logged in.

It would help if ED would make the IHADSS resizeable even if it isnt in real life. Think of this request as a quality of life issue

That IHDASS is a lot smaller than mine using a Quest3. What setting could cause that?

I have bought these and they will fit. now to get the HMS firmware updated and then calibrated. Yes a bit expensive but they will fit and a spare set is always a good thing.- 3414 replies
