    No, I have just changed the profile to HSFX and using the ptt for that profile the mike showed as active, back to Viacom no joy.

    Just checked and the muted mike is showing when DCS isnt running. That makes sense because the speech is telling Viacom to run something in DCS. The mike is set up as I have used it in "another combat flight sim" and it worked fine.

    YesI held it. Will the mike muted show when DCS is not running?

    Hello, I cant get VA to listen to me. I have used VA for several years so it must be a setting on Viacom. I have the Pro version everything imported and all the "when I say" words are there. I have a Warthog set up as shown on the PDF. I get Chrystal Palace reading the brief and when I push TX1 button the menu appears. The VA log doesnt show any words heard :( Any ideas as I think it will be great when I can get it working.

    Hello, I have just bought this and am setting it up. I have used VA with several games and I use a PTT button with them. I have read the guide and it says to disable global recognition key. Will I still be able to use VA ptt on the other games? Found a profile option I havnt seen before :)

    For me it is a very negative against DCS. I havent a clue why they went down this road, but its probably far oo late for this to change.

    Its a bit tricky to set up, but Miles is very helpfull. Read some of the comments on the thread to get an idea.

    OK, I have had a play with it. I can set the active com port, but a lot of times I press button 2 as requested but it doesnt get recognised as confirmed. I can move the curser with my FCU ok but the indicater still is red. I have tried to do the calibration with DCS running but it appears that Windows wont let Voice Assist have focus. Could you please give me the order to do things in? Thanks in advance

    Just one more thing, the order of starting things up :) 1/ press HMC button 1 and do a reset 2/ start oculus home 3/ start voice assist 4/ start DCS and start test mission 5/ start calibration is this correct? and how do I get voice assist to be the focus of windows? Thanks in advance

    I am getting a bit confused, how do I tell if the HMS is on? There is a green light on all the time. I know if I use a FMC button the red light flashes but the green light is on all the time.
