Aircraft for 3rd party developers I know I am not really contributing with this post but here is a list of some of the aircraft not mentioned by any 3rd party teams i would buy so far! 1) F-18c(No brainer but hopfully ED has a suprize for us) 1.5) F-14D ( I know it has been mentiond but I feel most of us are f-15'd out at least I would like to see a DCS level f-14 with carrier ops. Not that I wouldnt buy dcs-f15E:D 2) A-4e/f ( vf-126 glory days) 3) Mig-29 4) Mirage2000 5) FWf190 (for dancing with the p51) 6) Mig25/31 Honorable mentions Su27 gr-1 av-8b t28 trojan I am interested to see what your lists look like!?

With all of the new 3rd party developing going on my head is spinning! Im loving the direction ED is taking. However in development could mean very far away from actually being completed (multiple years). I could say I am developing DCS-(insert fighter here) but not be done for 5 years, so it’s really not even worth announcing. I really don’t want to get my hopes up for anything because I know it could be a long way off. However is there any way to tell if something will be completed in 2 months, <6 months, a year, over a year? MIG-21 looks to me like it could almost be in beta! yet I have no idea what actually goes on or the process that an aircraft goes through in development. It could very well be a long way off. ED has been killing me since the announcement of the US fixed wing fighter, I’ve been glued to the forums trying to find answers. As most of you probably are, I am extremely anxious for all the new aircraft. Its torture...:helpsmilie: So what I am asking given all of the new 3rd party aircraft being developed, which ones are close, and as for the other ones how long are we talking here? Not looking for dates just timeframes.:joystick:

Lets be honest... everybody here knows that whatever ED puts out we are all going to be more than willing to shell out for it... personally me? I would like to see some carrier action with either of the F/A-18s. Seems like the most logical choice anyways.:pilotfly:

Fly close to some T80u or even some t72s i think will have them... Flying the ka50 is almost suicidal at the ranges you need to get to. You also have to sit still to designate them unless you fly right at them which is just as bad. The fact that it has almost no off-bore look-shoot capability sucks. the hms they use in the KA50 I only see being used to get the gun onto targets faster close in (albeit soft undefended ones). I dont know if its just me or if have spent too much time in a hog pit but I cant seem to make a capable combat aircraft out of it. I would be interested to see if anybody has any good tactics to use against REAL armored columns which are defended. Not just a bunch of trucks. I really really want to like this aircraft. It has most of the ingredients just not the recipe. :helpsmilie:

Hello all! New to the forums but not to DCS. Been playing A-10C since it came out(love it). Just picked up Blackshark on sale the other day and I have a few questions. First I have gone over all the the necessary procedures and for the life of me cannot get the VHF-2 radio to work. When I attempt to contact the tower ( correct freq ) the options are black. In A-10C that would mean they are A out of range B terrain masked or C something with the radio isn't working. My other question involves Russian ground forces such as the T-72U and T80. I cannot outmaneuver their 9m119 missiles even while at top speed. I have a hard time believing in a real live scenario they would be able to track me with such ease. I engage at max range with the VIks then move in with cannons and do gun runs but I never cross over the target. Is there something I am doing wrong? Lastly I cannot hear betty. I have checked the test button and a message comes up saying it works but I never hear her, nor any of the warnings. Thanks in advance! any help would be greatly appreciated:pilotfly: !!
