I have an e6400 dual core, but am running xp instead of vista. is there anyway to still utilize affinty for bs? cheers

Black Shark and the helos in FSX and its Acceleration arent comparable. Im a commerical helo pilot-low hour unfortunately-and in FSX when you input a roll or pitch setting, the helo doesnt discount the input even after you center the joystick. Black Shark, with its attention to minutae, fixes this flaw. this is especially frustrating in the Acceleration when slingloading. Slingloading in Acceleration is however a great application since so much of commercial helo use is with slings. I just wish they could have addressed this simple fault of the joystick centering

cont. Ive been a member of this forum for more than 3 years, and I have periodically tuned in to bitch about the delay, and now I dare say it was worth it. It is laudable that someone would take the time and make the effort to pursue such a unique project. It is indeed, as the first poster put it, a masterpiece.

As a canadian commercial helo pilot, and an avid flight simmer, this is hands down, easy, no contest, THE BEST of the bunch. FSX Allied Force Lock On, all of them, are in a seperate class compared to this beauty.

talon. that was it. thanks. i have been carpet bombing this forum with rudder complaints and now ive got it. i just had to, like you said, make sure the rudder from CH was the same assignment as in BS. thanks a ton!

could you please please please tell me how to program the CH pedals along with a saitek x52? BS wont recognize my pedals, though FSX will

also, did you try going to controls ka 50 real axis commands flight control rudder axis tune panel and click 'slider'? the guide says that this should cure automatic centering of rudder pedals my prob is that my rudder pedals keep getting overuled and the sim stops recognizing them after a few trys. any suggestion?

yes, you should invert the throttle to make it more realistic. a real collective starts at the floor, and you pull up to increase collective pitch. do you know how to invert the throttle on a x52 throttle?

hey bud..\ im right there with you. i have the exact same prob. i dont know why these guys assume we are as computer savvy as them. im a commercial helo pilot, and am baffled by the bs controller interface. im trying to simply reverse my x52 throttle, so it is more realistic as a collective. any help also is appreciated

i did like someone else said, and downloaded the exe file from the ''russian mirror'' (whatever that means), and i have now crossed the floor from the ''problems and bugs'' forum to the ''gameplaying good times'' forum, and on revin er up, its like when john travola opened the glowing box in pulp fiction ''its.....beautiful....

and do i have to extract all the data1.cab files into that same folder?

By "same directory" do you mean save each download into the same folder?

This is what i got when i was installing Black Shark. extract failed on code error 2 how about some help? and i could use some clarity on what they mean on the download page about installing into the same folder. the eagle folder? the ka50 folder? extract that data1 file? i have no idea about this crap. lets have some precision here please.
