  1. I also have an Saitek X52 Pro. Something I have noticed is that after an "extended" play sessions, say if I am in a mission for over an hour or so, the aircraft will start to ascend or descend, sharply, often seemingly at random. At first I though I thought it was something I was doing wrong during the mission and the game was simulating some damage to the plane, for example: going into a steep dive, which maybe was "damaging" the plane's elevator in some way. Trimming would have no effect on these massive spikes I was experiencing on the vertical axis. Honestly, even though I'm sad to admit it, the X52 is overpriced for what it is: a very shoddily built HOTAS with poor quality control. I get that flight-sims enthusiasts are a niche demographic, but seriously... I spent over $200 Canadian for this controller, the stick does not move linearly; often, due to friction it sticks and unsticks, making banking and maneuvering jumpy and the mini-stick drifts all over the place. The whole system consistently causes my computer to blue-screen when I plug or unplug the USB cable. But at the end of the day, what recourse do I really have? Spend another $400 more on the Warthog? Sigh....
  2. Iraq for sure... But I'm torn on GW1 or GW2.... GW1 had so much to offer: SEAD, Scud-hunting and ofcourse, how could we forget, tank busting some Soviet T-55's. GW2 had a lot more intimate CAS.
  3. For reasons others have covered above, in real life the pilot wouldn't have made that mistake, and if they had would know if/how it's possible to clear the hung store. From the manual: Page 293: Page 563: No offense but it is a poor craftsman that blames his tools.
  4. Someone plesae correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you need to set the Lase time, on the left-hand side of the the "Change settings" page of the GBU-12 profile for Auto Lase to work...
  5. In addition to the aerodynamic advantages, it looks like you've popped a totally bad-ass wheelie while landing. :D
  6. I think he means you should navigate to wherever the game is installed in your hard drive, there should be a "Doc" folder where you can find a file for the manual. It might be a bit confusing because of Steams folder structure and where it places games. When I originally installed the game via steam I think it was installed at "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\dcs a-10c warthog". Someone please correct me if that's incorrect. Failing that you can just get it from http://http1.files.eagle.ru/v2/dcs/manuals/DCS-A-10C_Flight_Manual_EN.pdf
  7. This is really cool! Even with Freetrack, I've always felt like the snap-view toggles were a somewhat cumbersome, specially when you've got both hands full and you need to make a quick change to your CDU or zooming while rolling in on a target. Thank you, good sir, I can't wait to get home and try it :)

  9. Was this a new change in 1.1.1.1? I noticed this as well, and I swear it wasn't happening before I upgraded. At least now I know why it's angrily beeping at me :)
