  2. Hello, M2000 newbie question: despite pressing on the button bottom right and/or moving the standby ADI indicator up/down I can't get rid of the red flag. Thanks for your help Fulcrum

  6. Morning BigNewy, It was small custom mission I have created. The only mod I have is frenchy NVGs that wasn't being used at the time (day mission). Apologise for posting the wrong files. Attached the requested logs. cheers Fulcrum_64th
  7. Here's my crash log (simple A-10c mission...was trying to strafe a civilian traffic ;-) ) oh boy I will get court martialed :D best Fulcrum_64th
  8. Greetings all Thanks for the replies. I think Hansolo nailed it. I might have set FM to DF by mistake (VR headsets can sometimes be tricky :-) ) Greetings to Chewbacca Fulcrum_64th
  9. Hello Quick note on the above. I managed to push my OC pass my optimised settings i.e. (3.7 Ghz). The only changes I did are: update to 1.5.6 doubled the ram on my system (from 16 to 32 GB) I can fly full missions (1h+) with no freezes. Best Fulcrum_64th
  10. Hello A-10c pros ! I must have missed something on my start up checklist. I keep on having a red flag on the 12 o'clock of my main attitude indicator. Many thanks for your help Best
  11. Problem solved, I found the directory with the missions.
  12. Hello, I have purchased yesterday your DLC and I can't find the single missions on my system (despite following the instructions at the start of that thread). Thanks for your help. Fulcrum_64th
  13. cool stuff. On my system both maps run pretty much the same (i.e. very smooth) . I don't see a big difference in term of eye candy. Maybe it's because I use VR and the difference is masked by the resolution limits of actual VR. Cheers Fulcrum_64th
  14. awesome, thanks Snoopy! the 476 rock !!!
  15. Cool. Is there a general performance improvement going to clipmaps?
  16. Thanks Bignewy. Let's hope 2.5 will soon be on final. :pilotfly:
  17. can you post your computer specs please? Is your system OC ?
  18. Thanks a lot snoopy.
  19. Dear all, I'm attempting my first night sorties on the A-10c. I installed the excellent Frenchy NVG mod, in full screen as I'm using CV1 VR googles. Is that correct that the TPG and MAV displays can't be used with NVGs (i.e. they appear to bright). All the other pages are visible by switching the MFDs to night mode and decreasing the brightness except for the TGP/MAV that remain to bright. Thanks for your help Fulcrum_64th
  20. I installed the mod and   . Love it. Works very well with the CV1. I used full screen as I'm not sure what the best parameters would be for a VR headset using the "ring" view. Thanks a lot for the mod !
  21. yep I know that's the laser range finder. But is that normal that it stays on ? Should it only be visible when one fires to laser to get a range reading ?
  22. Once used for a range measure, I see the laser spot in my NVG but can't switch the laser off. Maybe a user error. Let me know Best Fulcrum_64th
  23. Thanks Bignewy! (Isn't Hereford where the prestigious SAS is based ? :music_whistling: ) I'd love to read from people that managed a successful and stable OC for DCS (i.e. what MOBO/BIOS/CPU/Cooler and OC parameters they managed to run) Best Fulcrum_64th
  24. cool thanks. I'll try them soon
  25. Hello and happy new year to all of you! This is how I solved my game freezing issue (on 1.5.5 i.e. the latest version of 1.5). The problem: After a fews minutes of flying (and sometimes even in the menu) the game freezes solid. The white hourglass appears and the computer is frozen solid. The computer needs to be switch off manually. Nothing appears in either the DCS nor the window log. That same problem appears regardless of the module (and also on 2.x version) The solution: After trying a lot of things(re-installing the game, drivers, updating the firmware of the SSD, making sure page file in auto, disabling the HT of my CPU, updating the BIOS) , my problem was traced to the OC of the computer. If I use "optimised value in my BIOS", the sim seems to run without any issues (3.7Ghz @ 1.105V). As soon as I OC above that (even a little such 4.0Ghz) I start running into the freezes. My OC seem stable vs the usual stress tests (they survive 1 to 2 hours of RealBench and Prime95). Those OC also cause no issues with other sims such P3Dv3. But for what ever reason they don't work with DCS. In the past (I paused using the sim for a few months)I have never experience such problems. :pilotfly: Best regards Fulcrum
