No, i already tried to keep collective and pitch in different positions. But it happens every time.

Everytime I start the campaign my main rotor tears of, even before my instructor warns me not to break his helicopter, lol. Any ideas why that occurs?

Das Problem hatte ich auch. Du musst DCS World erst wieder Downgraden auf Version 1.2.4.12179, um das A10 Modul Vers.1.2.412179 installieren zu können. Hab hier ne simple Lösung von Azrayen gefunden : " You'll have to downgrade your DCS World to be able to install. After module is installed, you'll then upgrade again (the whole DCS+modules), and you'll be good to go. Six simple steps to do that. Ready? Follow me 1/ Locate your start menu "Update DCS World" shortcut, and make a copy of it. 2/ Edit the copy (right click->properties): Locate the "target" value in the "shortcut" tab. and add the desired version number as shown below. For example, assuming your DCS World is installed in your D:\Games, your shortcut target will read like this: Quote: "D:\Games\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update Juste add [space][:] then the version number like this: Quote: "D:\Games\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update :1.2.4.12179 3/ Click [OK] to save your edited shortcut. Then execute it: The auto-updater will downgrade to 1.2.4.12179 4/ Once done, install your FC3 module. 5/ Throw away your modified shortcut. 6/ Execute your un-modified "Update DCS World": The auto-updater will re-upgrade to 1.2.4.12547 (including FC3). ++ Az' "

I purchased a boxed version. Dont think it is possible via the module manager then, is it?

I just executed the auto-update to version DCS 1.2.4.12547. After that i got the following message while trying to install the P-51 module: Cant install P-51D_1.2.4.12179_180 into newer DCS World 1.2.4.12547. Please download P-51D_1.2.4.12547 installer. I cant find that installer version on the DCS Website. Any ideas how i could install my new P-51 module or where to find that newest version?

Danke für den Hinweis, habe nur DCS World neu installiert. Würg, jetzt muss ich auch noch alle Module neu runterladen. Und wie ich mein Glück kenne sind wahrscheinlich dann auch noch alle Thrustmaster- und Lua-Einstellungen weg? Naja, wird schon werden.

Hallo, ich war aus beruflichen Gründen lange Zeit nicht dazu gekommen A10 zu spielen. Jetzt habe ich gerade ein DCS World Update von Version 1.2. auf 1.2.2 gemacht ( DCS World deinstalliert und dann die neue Version installiert). Meine gekauften DCS Produkte (A10, Black Shark usw) sind jetzt seltsamerweise alle deaktiviert - was habe ich falsch gemacht und wie ist der korrekte Update-Vorgang bzw wie bekomme ich diese wieder aktiviert? Danke für die Ratschläge. So langsam werden die Fragezeichen weniger. Mein Fehler war wohl auch, dass ich Slave to SPI mit Slave to Steerpoint verwechselt hatte. Noch ne Frage, die aber eher die Missionen betrifft: Arbeitet man zuerst JTAC Aufträge ab und anschließend das Primärziel, oder umgekehrt? Und noch eine: Ich soll ein Hauptquartier zerstören, aber in der nähe der angegebenen Koordinate ist nur ne kleine Ortschaft zu sehen. Muss ich da das ganze Dorf Plattmachen?

OK, das mit den Waypoints und Markpoints habe ich halbwegs drauf. Noch ne Frage: Ist es richtig, dass ich im HUD mit dem DMS-UP/Down lediglich durch die Wegpunkte durchwechseln kann und nicht durch die Markpoints; bei den Markpoints tut sich da bei mir nichts und ich muss dazu den AAP Steerpoint-Knopf betätigen?? Ich finde es ist ziemlich umständlich dafür immer die Hand vom Hotas nehmen zu müssen. Oder gibt es grundsätzlich eine viel einfachere Methode zwischen mehreren Zielen schnell hin und her zu schalten?

Danke, mit dem Tipp funktioniert es. Da kann man sich das Handbuch vorher ruhig fünfmal durchlesen, aber ohne Praxis bringt das gar nichts.

Hallo, in der ersten Kampagne bekomme vom JTAC ein Ziel zugewiesen, gebe die Koordinaten in die CDU ein, benenne das Ziel (Name für das Ziel/Wegpunkt eingeben) und drücke noch den L3 Key (den mit dem Fragezeichen im Display-wozu ist diese Taste eigentlich?). So weit so gut-mein neuer Wegpunkt erscheint im HUD. Wenn ich diese Prozedur jetzt mit weiteren Koordinaten wiederhole, erscheinen diese Wegpunkte nicht im HUD. Woran liegt das, und wie kann ich diesen vermutlich lächerlichen Anfängerfehler vermeiden? Gruß Q

Thanks, now I know that I have to relearn flying with rudders. For me it still feels as if you turn your car's steering wheel to the left for a right turn.

Hi, I had used my joystick with rudder function for years. When I turned it to the right my nose went to the right side and when I turned it to the left, my nose went to the left side. After purchasing a TM Warthog few weeks ago I bought Saitek rudders yesterday. And now im confused: When I push the right foot the plane turns right and vice versa. But if you look onto the rudders from above you turn the axis to the left while pushing the right foot. So I assumed that pushing your right foot should produce a left turn and pushing the left foot a right turn. :joystick: Is this the normal rudder behavior as it should be in a plane, or do I have to invert axes? :doh: Best regards

Thank you all for the replies. I just ordered the TIR. Not sure about the joystick yet - the x52 looks good, but the Hawg looks much better ;) Well the € crashes soon anyway. Therefore to hell with the dough - I'll get the TM Warthog.

Well thats also true. Mhh, doesnt make the decision easier. But in Germany the TrackIR with the ProClip is more expensive than it is in the US (around 180€ = 230$ while the Hawg is 310€ = 390$). So buying either of them makes your purse cry, or at least sigh for a moment.;)

Wow, thanks for the quick answers. Seems there is an unanimous opinion about that. Then I'll try the TrackIR first. But I'm sure the Warthog is an option for later.

I have installed DCS A-10 for some time now, I think I've seen all the youtube videos and during my time at work in the office I read the manual ;) But flying that bird is not much fun, as I have a shitty old joystick which has no good centering abilities. As soon I take my hands away from it I almost do a barrel roll. Releasing bombs is impossible, regardless how well you trimmed the aircraft. :joystick: As I got back some tax refunds I'd like to invest some of the money into gaming hardware. So my question is: What is more important for the gameplay? A good joystick like e.g. the TM-Warthog or the TrackIR (plus a medium-priced joystick)? Thanks
