Kann ich eine DCS Installation einfach auf eine SSD verschieben, oder muss alles neu installiert/runtergeladen werden?

Da können wir ja einen emsländischen Stammtisch einrichten [emoji482] . Bin 42 und komme aus Papenburg im nördlichen Emsland. Meine ersten Flüge auf C64 und was es sonst so anfänglich auf Amiga gab, können unerwähnt bleiben. Nachhaltig geprägt hat mich dann irgendwann Jane's AH-64D Longbow. Ich habe diesen Simulator und diesen Heli geliebt. Insbesondere nachdem ich im Rahmen einer BW-Kommandierung 10 Wochen in nem amerikanischen Kampfhubschrauberregiment zugebracht habe und hautnahen Kontakt zum Longbow hatte. Ich durfte sogar 2 mal 60 min den Apache Simulator nutzen. Das war vor 9/11 noch möglich und wurde ziemlich locker gesehen. Nach einer gewissen Falcon 4.0 Zeit bin ich dann längere Zeit auf die zivile Luftfahrt umgeschwenk und habe viel Zeit im MS Flight Simulator und parallel dazu im Racingbereich verbracht. Lock On und Flaming Cliffs ist in der Zeit ziemlich an mir vorbeigegangen. Nun ja, und irgendwann tauchte Eagle Dynamics mit dem Black Shark auf und hat mich zum Hubschrauber zurückgebracht. Allerdings nur bis die A10C erschien, in der ich seitdem die meisten Flugstunden absolviere. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich inzwischen aber auch viel bei iRacing und Assetto Corsa unterwegs bin (duck weg [emoji51] ) , aber wer das mal mit nem vernünftigen Lenkrad und Pedalerie (dagegen war mein TM Warthog geradezu ein Schnäppchen) probiert hat, versteht was ich meine. P.S.: Verdammt, bin bis Freitag auf Dienstreise in Berlin, sitze im Hotel und kann die Neue Map nicht testen.[emoji22]

Hi, I cleaned up my tool shed last weekend and found a bunch of RAFI Industrial Pushbuttons and thought those could be used for a run-off-the-mill UFC. So some quick sawing, drilling and Arduino BIOS-sketching --> done Here it is, ugly but does the job:

Don't know if this is a bug, but the campaign won't proceed after BFT 4 Approach and Landing. I flew it several times, sometimes Q(-), sometimes Q. Instructor tells me I have passed the lesson. But the next time I start the campaign, I have to fly it again. Latest OpenBetaVersion.

Hollywood 315 hat mir freundlicherweise direkt geantwortet. :thumbup: Die Fehlerbehebung war auch relativ einfach, indem man das Workaround "Non-US International keyboards.txt" beachtet. Dieses ist auch direkt in seinem ersten Post unten angehängt. Danach läuft VAICOM 2. Allerdings bedarf es intensiven Übens, um die ganzen Voice Flows hinzubekommen. Ist halt sehr ungewohnt, wenn man das bisher nur über die F-Tasten durchgeführt hat. Darüber hinaus sollte man im englischen Speech Dictionary alle Kommandos einsprechen Das alleine hat mich bestimmt 4 Stunden gekostet, ansonsten erkennt VA einfach zu viele Begriffe nicht.

In Win 10 kann ich einfach zwischen den Sprachversionen wechseln. Ich habe auch letztens mal alle DCS Befehle ins englische Speech Dictionary eingesprochen, damit die Begriffe mit meinem Akzent besser erkannt werden. Außerdem sind ja ein paar Spezialbegriffe dabei, die Win von Haus aus nicht kennt (GBU, SPI, Ready Pre-Contact, ...). Das VAICOM nicht läuft, dürfte einzig an der deutschen DCS Version liegen. Ich werde morgen mal die englische Version aufspielen und dann nochmal testen. Gruß

Also die Spracherkennung funktioniert in Voice Attack. Du kannst ja in den Einstellungen die "Speech Engine" auswählen. Die steht bei mir auf "Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (English-Us)" und erkennt so entsprechend auch die eingesprochenen Befehle. Request Engine Start erkennt VoiceAttack: "Recdognized : 'request engine start' (contains 'start')" Der Befehl wird also erkannt, aber die Umsetzung in DCS funktioniert nicht. Ich vermute, dass VA einfach Probleme mit dem deutschen Sprachpaket im Kommunikationsmodul hat (Englische vs. deutsche Begriffe im Funkmenü.) Das Funkmenü wird auch gar nicht angezeigt, obwohl ich den "Hide Communications Menu"-Mod gar nicht installiert habe. Gruß

Moin, hat von euch schon jemand erfolgreich VAICOM 2 genutzt? Muss dazu die englische DCS Version installiert werden, da bei mir gar nichts erkannt wird, bzw Fehler auftreten. Z.B. werde ich bei "Request Engine Start" in eine Außenansicht geworfen, obwohl ich selbstverständlich, wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, alle Keybindings der Num 0-3-Tasten entfernt habe. Ich bekomme auf keinen Sprachbefehl eine Rückmeldung, Funkgeräte sind natürlich richtig eingestellt, das Funkrauschen beim Drücken der PTT-Tasten ist zu hören. Der "Start Mission Befehl" im Briefing Menü funktioniert seltsamerweise.

Wow that was complicated. I did a full new installation of DCS!! (Thank god I have 200Mbit connection here) Then installed the campaign for the open beta: OpenBeta A-10C Basic Flight Training Qualification 91,06MB Installed that into the default folder .../dcsbeta/mods/campaign But i still couldn't see the campaign in DCS. :mad: There was only the stock campaign "Georgian Hammer" visible. Looked for the G.Hammer campaign in windows- found the folder - think, think, think--> installed into that folder--> still no success :mad: :mad: :helpsmilie: So I searched for the Georgian Hammer campaign again, just to find out, that there are two different campaign folders in my installation: one in an English Version, one in a German version. :cry: :\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Missions\EN\Campaigns vs. :\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Missions\DE\Campaigns Ok, no problem :smartass:---> third installation into that (DE) folder and finally success. The campaign appears in DCS. What a pain in the ... :music_whistling: Would be great if you updated the installation routine, so that the correct folder would be found automatically. :thumbup:

Hi, how do I play/install the BFT as a campaign? After installation i can only find the missions in my mission folder, not in the campaign folder. And I can access any mission from the beginning.

Hi Pilots, I have a minor problem with the CMS switch. When pressing it down it gets stuck and wouldn't release automatically. I have to use two fingers to pull it out. Injecting some machine oil brought no improvement. I was looking for a disassembly instruction on the forums, but wasn't successful. Did anybody ever disassemble the stick and has instructions, or should i just try and hope that no springs bounce out. Timo

There could be few other people who have decided the same. :( And that will make it difficult/unlikely to get one from the first batch.

Thank you for your help. Though I did a fresh calibration in windows the cyclic is always in the upper left when I enter the campaign. But easy solution is simply to move the stick a little as soon i press"fly" in the briefing. Cyclic then centers normally.

Its very strange. My controls seem to be setup properly. I have no problems flying in the cold startup training. Attached find the track. Edit: Just found the prob. My cyclic is stuck in the upper left corner at entry. So I just have to immediately move the flightstick as soon I enter the cockpit. track 1.trk
