ok folks, i run 3 computers on this game, and last played a few days ago. tonight I went to start up my homemade map, i run on the server. then use two other computers to play, one pc is for flight and another one to play jtac ground commander. today I run the server, and noticed a small update. loaded the server and loaded my map. then went to connect to my server using my play computer, and get a "connection interuppted" msg when try to connect to my server. tried connecting the other computer to my server and it does the same thing. no other computer had this small update either the server had. flushed the dns and all computers exept the server. my setup was just last working good a few days ago. what to try next? thanks Mark

Hi all, I have 2 GP wiz40 boards in my home cockpit. the switches are hooked to various panels from a c141 starlifter. I had an older microsoft sidewinder joystick i took apart for the rotary switches. they have 3 poles on them. only two were used in the joystick, as the middle pole was connected to all 3 other rotary switches in the joystick (on the center pole) the right pole on them had their own leads and the other pole wasnt used. Anyone tell me how to hook this up to the gp-wiz 40, i would like to use them for aileron trim and rudder trim. Iam guessing the middle pole was either plus or minus. the gp told it supported axis and rotary switches but i cant get it working. thanks! Mark

Hi all, Iam in the process of building a home cockpit, and somewhat trying to make it look like the ka50 , as in the way the controls are. Ive been collecting vintage aircraft parts for the last 10 years and are currently working with 2 GP-wiz40 USB input controllers and are currently building my own switch panels, aside from my original aircraft stuff I have. Which is, my overhead panel is a electrical control panel from a c-141 starlifter, center console, is an environmental control panel from the c-141, and forward panel is a boost pump control panel outta a Boeing 727. All panels have tons of switches, some switches are momentary, some are a like a toggle switch, a few dials with as many as 6-7 seperate outputs. I have wired in some far 55 inputs, but as far as the "rotator" inputs, i do not understand how these get wired. Can somewon show me a good rotator switch and how it is wired thru this gp wiz? There must be others using this usb input controller and my searches have turned up little information. Hi all, I had a quick question about running servers. can i download the core DCS program , and host a map with all the modules, without activating them on the host computer? Like for instance, I would play from another computer with all the modules activated, but none of the modules would be activated on the host, the purpose would just be using that machine as the host. thank you BlackTurbo

actually i didnt fix the problem. my map consists of all modules and i run side by side on two computers. I have 2 ground force commanders, one for red, one for blue. and jtac roles for each side. my map runs good on both computers. friends can play me on the 2nd machine when they come over. but it seems the second computer crashes, when i goto ground force commander role and direct tanks to their target on the first computer. it all runs ok if i dont play as ground commander and direct vehicles to targets. any idea?

i solved my problem, it seemed I have 2 ground force commanders on each side. so i only have one ground force commander to each side. so far the game hasnt crashed and its been on 20 mins, usaully it crashed asap..so much to learn about this simulation lol

i think i read in the manual you cant have a ground master in multiplayer, guess i answered my own question lol

Hello all, Heres my problem. I have all the modules running on two computers side by side with eachother as i purchased two serial codes to every module when they were on sale. I made my own map that runs , and my server will run for 24 hours no problem, both machines will still be playing. both machines are windows 7 and vista 64 bit with server having 12 gigs of ram and 2nd pc with 6. ever since, I added the role of game master to my map. my second computer crashes now when iam using the game master role on computer number 1 directing tanks to their targets. also you cant use the game master role on computer 2 cause of crashes. and when I remove game master from my map, everything returns to normal. no crashes, nice gameplay on both machines. Any ideas? thank you Blackturbo

Hello folks, I have 2 system running this game, mine and a guest as to friends can play on when they come over. the second one runs pretty good on low settings, with med visual range. it is a amd duel core 4600+, 4 gigs of ram, and a factory overclocked saphire 3870 with 512k of ram. I also have a 4670 video card laying around with 1 gig of ram, but it doesnt plug into extra power like the overclocked 3870 does. my question is, what card would run the game better? i have windows 7 os. thanks mark

no, iam trying to put it on my second machine, i had the first installation on, and I cannot over-right or clear the serial number to put my one i just purchased. the serial number will not go away, even if i unistall the module.

ok, 4 weeks ago i purchased this module at full price, and i find out i cannot use the same serial number on 2 pcs at the same time. so it goes on sale, i purchase another serial. iam unable to erase the serial in the module manager and put the new one i purchased, and i do not want to totally reinstall everything. i even tried un installing the ca module and reinstalling it, and i cannot erase the serial code to put my new one. so what do i do.. thanks xD

actaully yes, this is crappy under XP. I can only get low graphics to work on two seperate XP machines, and both machine are over the system requirements. It really looks awesome and I bet with just a vista upgrade it will run like a charm. However, in my planning in the future upgrades so i can make this game scream will this game take more advantage of multicore processors? I have duel core 3.1 ghz now.

yeah, i dont know why they tell people to do the /3GB switch, it will slow your PC down, my DCS wont even load with it on. get a memory error . I can only run this game on low settings or it will crash. my system is a duel core 3.2, 4 gig ram, XP pro, radeon dh 4870. and it will only run in default setting, not with the /3gb switch on.

Iam waiting for somewon to tell me what they mean. when I try to unistall dcs world , i get a window with a bar flashing "waiting for dbblock" , then after awhile it gives another error "another update instance is running" or something..

Hello all, I bought FC3 last night, installed dcs world first, then tried to installed FC3. at the end, it said "waiting for dblock" for a minit later, it says another install process is running. DCS world will load. then after I did the win32 memory fix for windows XP, it will not load and it crashes on startup. the system is windows XP pro, 4 gigs ram, duel core 3.0 ghz. tried to unistall DCS world now so I can re-install it. and all I get, is "waiting for DBlock" then after a minit it says another install process is running. this has been the biggest piece of garbage software so far, please help me!

Hello all, I bought dcs KA50 hoping to run it on two computers side by side . as it turns out one account can only be online at once even in lan games. Is there a way I can get a single copy to run on two machines at once? Thanks.. Blackturbo

Hi all, I did something and cleared all my keyboard cmds from the f15 controls and now I cant get them back . Ive unistalled and re-installed the game and still have no cmds just under the f15, every other aircraft is fine. I have the game running on another computer and all the key inputs are there. so is there a file I need? I cant find anything that will restore it al back to default keys. thanks. :smilewink:
