ok i have given up, and uninstalled , but now the "web downloader" program for dcs is not working, is there anyone else i can download dcs world again without using the webinstaller ?

well mine doesnt even show in the task manager, sometimes i see a screen that says DCS for a split second then nothing , it seems one time when i tried to start it, after i launched it i touched a key by mistake and a huey activation screen came up, . but that only happened once

Hi all, I downloaded this big update, and now my DCS will not start. when I try to launch it, the hour glass spins for awhile, then the screen flashes white then nothing. can somewon tell me what to do. thanks mark

Hi all, all of a sudden my saitek x45 is behaving badly in games ,especially the joystick. everything works fine in the calibration software , all buttons work and sliders show functioning. but now, when i go into a game and start to use the joystick, it starts to go weird and roll to one side, or not go up,etc. it does this in DCS and FSX . I have tried unistalling the device and re-installing. as I said, it shows completly functional in the calibration software. I kinda dont wanna spend money on a new controller. thanks! (iam on windows vista 64 bit) any ideas of what to do next?

ok its not working, the monitors are set as you say in windows. my abris is pretty much on target with the smaller lcd. on the lcd that is suppose to dispaly the shkval, i see my cockpit, and on my main monitor, i see a small strip of the cockpit, then it has the shkval. ty for the help :)

monitor setup help Hi all, I recently upgraded hardware, to a newer video card that supports 3 monitors. my older setup was a two monitor configuration, with a main viewing monitor that is 22 inches and a smaller lcd that displayed the abris. all worked fine and I understand the important of using notepad +++ when editing lua files. now after 5 hours and trying and failing, i cannot get this new configuration fixed. Heres my setup I have one main monitor, which is the center monitor, set at 1152x864. then the left and right monitor are smaller LCD screens at 800x600 resulotion. I want the right lcd to display he LEFT_MFCD (abris) and the left most monitor to display the RIGHT_MFCD (shkval) everything i try is not working. can somewon send me a lua file to try? I can post pictures of my setup to show what is happening.

ok well your right, puttin back in my old cpu didnt work. i put back in the new, deactivated every module, and reinstalled them. but its still not working i guess what now, reinstall the whole game?

yes it crashes in dcs world single player, when i try to play that module, it gives error saying i must retry, then i do, and it activates, then dcs crashes. i guess i have to put in my old cpu huh. this is a nightmare

so, am I gonna have to put my old cpu back in lol, then deactivate all my modules, then put my new cpu in and reactivate them. i kinda dont wanna mess with that again.

Hi all, Iam so sad, I didnt know a simple CPU upgrade would cause all my modules not to load. Iam not too technical when it comes to the registry either so i dont understand what to do. when i try to load dcs multiplayer, it comes up with each of my modules having errors, then gives me a chance to reactive them, then i do, and then after my dcs crashes. somewon help please .

nevada test range Hi all, I was wondering, i run dcs on 3 pcs total, 1 as the server, and 2 others with the same modules so i can play both ground and air at the same time. would i have to purchase the nevada training map 3 times to have on all local machines, or only purchase once, and run the map on the server. thanks :)

I dont have any mods running. i might try to install the game fresh on the server and see if that works but rather i would see if there was an easier way first.

no i didnt buy any modules for the server, just for the two playing computers that connect to it. i have road runner extreme internet.

Hi all, I play this game on 3-4 computers. and have one pc as my server and play on another one and usaully have a friend playing on the third, all connected to my server. each playing PC has seperate serial registrations for each module, so yes i spent alot of money buying two of each modules. up untill this new version, everything worked. Now when I start my server and its running, i try to connect my other pcs to it, and it joins the server for a few seconds and comes back with "connection interrupted" . But the server remains online. Ive tried everything from repair, to ipconfig /flushdns on each pc. setting network to LAN , still cant connect my computers to my server. so since I mainly play this with a personal friend of mine , i reverted back to an early version 1.2.9 , and everything works now. I can connect my pcs to my server. so what else should I try? or just be stuck on 1.2.9 cause that works. thanks!

Ok i found the problem. the server was only running version 1.2.8 and the two play computers were running version 1.2.9. after various tries to get the server updated to 1.2.9 (even used the cmd line dcs_updater update 1.2.9) , which doesnt work. so in order to get my setup to run, i have to run all at version 1.2.8. why isnt the server upgrading? is there something iam missing..
