  2. On servers like DDCS, you are able to use Huey’s and hips to sling artillery. No reason someone in a KW couldn’t relay coords to the tac commander to call in arty.
  3. In MP you have to pick a jet, let it load, and then go back to spec and get in a new jet. On the first load the battery doesn’t turn on
  4. This. Absolutely this. I came hear fearing I am the only one, but the module is showing some kind of “memory leak” type issue. At first I thought it may be something like all the screens (tgp, grnd rdr, hsi) are being continuously rendered even when switched off, but now it really seems to get worse the longer you are flying it. My PC runs all the other modules just fine in VR, but after the last update, the F16 is also showing this type of performance problem when the datalink is ok. Maybe related My frames are always locked on 40 and 80, but in Jeff they have been getting down to the low teens on my second sortie. Makes me nauseous and I have to turn it off
  5. I was under the impression that waypoint 40 is your SPI? I was going to point my tgp at a target and then copy that information to a new waypoint, but it sounds like this is in fact done with the MRK ufc function. I will try again in a minute, but I want to say I couldn’t change to the sensor instead of overfly. Is this done by clicking the arrow next to OVFLY? Thank you!!!
  6. How to then change this to a markpoint/PP When I go to waypoint 40 in DST (this is my current SPI correct?) I can copy it just like any other waypoint, it I can’t click paste on any blank fields? Which fields do I need to fill to use PP weapons? Is there a way to make quick mark points/ waypoints using the TGP? When I click mark on the UFC it seems it can only do overfly a that way. Thanks for answering.
  7. Thank you. Does the TPOD then slave to that waypoint when taken out of snowplow? Have had some very neat moments in the Thunder already. Thanks for all then hard work, and congrats on the fantastic release! One follow up question. Does using combat thrust lead to failure?
  8. maybe i'm missing it somewhere in the quick start. how do i cycle the active waypoint for steering cues in nav mode, or to make a certain waypoint SOI?
  9. Very interesting because we were in the bottom right portion of that screenshot when we both crashed. Will post the log later
  10. Has the developer acknowledged the multiplayer crashing issue? It seems that it is only the gazelle, and I know this because we will be in a flight of theee and we all crash at the same time online, and no one else does. It may have something to do with radar missiles being fired or in the vicinity. Has this issue been addressed yet? Is it being worked on? Do the developers need log files to help isolate the problem? Very sad to fly such a slow aircraft to the AO just to have DCS crash at the lost exciting moment Thanks! -migdriver

  17. welcome! as you fly the tutorials, take note of the HOTAS control names, and what they do. As you see which are the most important, you will discover which ones you want to bind to where. Its likely someone has the same stick on here, and can help you a little more but read in the manual about China Hat, Coolie Hat, TMS, DMS. Those are some of the main controls you will want to be able to access without looking down. It is very likely you will need to use some modifiers as well. good luck! have fun! welcome!

  19. First of all...HELLO! what an incredible sim, and robust community I have stumbled upon. My first question to you all.. I am trying to complete "In the weeds". The mission description itself says that I will probobly need to rtb to rearm. Problem is, I can't seem to rearm at home plate (where the mission starts from). Is this because there are no AI units on the base? Seems like a pretty glaring thing to miss on a created mission which tells you to rearm. thanks in advance!
