It appears the Mssffb2 isnt compatible with Windows 8 is this thrue ? And is there a solution ?

Yeah... a vetran with alot of experience. I saw other creations but i think this mod its amazing.

How does one comes up to the idea to do this ? Putting the 2 ffb machines togheter, the contraweight , the rewiring, its a genius idea Peterp. I might ask some questions about this. For now iam calculating if i am able to do this and if i can gather all the matherials

I have downloaded DCS Black Shark with the lastest update but sinds then i have issues with EMC is this a problem formiliar?
Emc startsup but i cant make any configuration.

Is there a way to program release weapon on the TG2 trigger button and the Gun on the TG1 trigger button from the warthog hotas ? i have tried it with the target software and in the event tester it seem to work but in bs it doesnt. The gun works, but release weapon doesnt.

Devrim your right i use multimonitor and Emc for exports. Ive learned that Multimon indeed can have some effect on the Controle indicator.However its strange that the controle appears in Bs2 with multimon but not in dcsw bs2. I dont have a clue witch file was adjusted without my knowledge,or witch file i should configure.

I have a strange problem here.
In BS2 i can open the Controle Indicator to adjust my trimmer, but in Dcsw 1.2.3 BS2 it doesnt popup.
But in the option key config tab it seems like the key combo works because after hitting the keys, the high lighted search beam jumps to the right commandline [ show controlle indicator].
Is there something i need to check/uncheck or adjust in a lua file?

How can i enable the Virtual trimmer or Controle indicator in Dcsw 1.2.3 Bs2 ? I have tried the RightControle + Enter combo but it doesnt come up. Do i need to enable something in the options tab or is this a bug?

Is there someone out there who can advise me a bit about my Monitor Setup ?
Here i have 3 monitor running DCS [blackShark]. 3x. 1920x1080 27inch. using eyefinity.
the other 3 monitors under the Eyefinity group are used for Helios. using Softth.
Monitors 5&6. 2x23" touchmonitors resolution 1920x1080
Monitor 4 32" touchmonitor resolution 1366x768
I tought i need to use Eyefinity for the upper monitors and softth for the monitors below for Helios exports. i dont know if this is the right way to approch this, but this is what i have done:
When i put the Game Resolution at 6084x2160. i have all the exports in place and the game is working .
But i guess i have to much load on my GPU's because the ground/helicopter moves in a shock motion.
While if i put the game resolution at 6084x1080 Just Eyefinity i works just fine.
Do i need both Eyefinity and Softth for my setup or is there a way to have SoftTh taking over the Task from Eyefinity ? Because i read that SoftTh have Less FPS compaired to Eyefinity.
What do i need to do to get this properly configured ?

ive tried the emc program.
it seems great, it exports everything i need but i must have did something wrong.
i can see it changed/made a new lua file but no exports to my Helios monitor.[monitor 1366x768. nr4]
further more i was thinking if i want to export all these avoinics to my monitors maybe i should set the monitors up as the attachment [resloution desktop]. this way i can put the pvi panel ,ekran etc etc using ECM, wherever i want and on witch monitor i feel like. what do you think ?
i have uploaded the files i tought you need to checkout. On the image named ecm you can see helios on monitor 4 [1366x768] . Through the cutouts for abris and skval you can see i have placed the ecm exports there in the background, this background is normally black the color of my desktop.
when i start the game i have no exports, i guess i need to do something else in the lua file.
can you please help out?

Hello fellas,
Iam new to this Dcs Sim world i have visited this forum before but i want to use this opportunity to introduce my self.
I just love choppers a few years ago (1998 ) i had Enemy Engaged installed i loved the two seated ka 52 Hokum so much but that game had a lot of bugs so i didnt use the game often.
By luck searching for updates last year i ran in to DCS Black Shark i knew right away this would be my new baby.
Eventhough its a single seated Ka 50 with less avoinics and equipment this game was the real thing ,realistic and i could interact in the cockpit clicking switches etc etc this game captured me at once. I upgraded my hardware from saitek x45 to a Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas , Trackir , pedals, hell i even build my self a cockpit including 3 touchscreens for helios and 3 main screens as the windshield for Dcs.
In the last year i havnt flew a lot because i was eithery busy visting forums how to configure helios etc etc or Busy studying the Dcs manual but also how to configure monitors and lua files and iam by far not there yet
This forum appeared to be more helpful then i initially tought.Experienced players helped me alot. Iam not that skilled so id like to start with gamers from beginners level (rookies as my self )

No sarcasm i just wanted to use a new reply to thank you because you still made me the total setup.
You see i just bought the game a few months a go iam not so experienced to this complicated game these couple of months i just read manuals from controles_ helios_monitors setups making a simpit etc etc
Cant even play the game
i asked you to help out with the monitor setup and on top of that you fixed me up with the Dcs lua file didnt expected thats great this was awsome.
Than i read your spoiler man. Here you are doing all this great stuff helping out and the next moment your inpatient _ mad_ or angry it seem. i hope iam wrong but your words seem aggressive every time things arnt going as they should. But you must understand your very experienced
People advised me to ask you to help out [ The SoftTH expert is PeterP. Send him a message.] so your the best around here this is why unexperienced gamers approch you they want to learn from you but we are Not as far as you are.
I even asked you to do it when you have extra free time so you wouldnt stress out. no need to put people down like that. Iam trying to learn so i dont have to give up on this very difficult game . Hope you can understand.
About the A10 configuration
As i said i asked for the monitor setup. When i received the Portrait setup at night i said to you ill install the next day. Than i found out that monitorsetup was in Portrait . I havnt even looked at the lua file sinds this would never work if the monitor setup isnt correct so i never saw if it was Bs or a10 lua file
And because i asked before for Bs i didnt acspect diffrent.
Yes i saw a A10 picture on the monitor but it could have been just a example to show me what the config would look like i didnt know you have both BS and A10 installed.
Honestly i didnt know if you would send me a guideline or the realthing. Maybe you see it as an excuse but i just didnt know
I understand if you dont want to finish the files thats all i needed to know you gave me enough tools to finish it

To make it short: Arrange your monitors like you want and its suitable for you.
Once you have nailed it down , come back and give-me that info.
Than I'm able to write a working monitor.lua for you.

As long no one knows in which settings and under which conditions this happened no one is able to give you a definite answer.. - I'm just too tired to start guessing again ....

About softth ...Well thats what i tought already would be the reason why you didnt made it with softth ... because Iam unexperienced.

Why would you ? Arnt you planning to make your own cyclic with ff ?
