  1. MFDs are not showing up on fourth monitor as configured in the attached lua file. Log folder included in attached zip file as well. Thank you, Paul Logs.zip
  2. Hi chrilith -- I don't recall which application I tried at the time. I'll get on my sim PC and try to find it. Whichever it was, I was not able to get it and Flightpanels working at the same time. Are you running FIPs using Passerelle along with Flightpanels? Thanks, Paul
  3. @pepin1234 -- ArturDCS tried hard to get the FIPs working in Flightpanels, but there were problems that were difficult to overcome. I don't know of any currently active efforts to enable FIPs in DCS. Hopefully, someone will take up the challenge. I did try one of the existing apps, or plugins, but it interfered with Flightpanels. Paul
  4. @FULCRUM -- I'm not sure if this is what you are asking about, but I doubt LEDs will ever be available for use with FC3 planes given the need for DCS-BIOS control. So far, only four modules are supported by DCS-BIOS: A-10C, UH-1H, MiG-21 and Ka-50. Given that any new module needs its own DCS-BIOS support, I don't see anyone going backwards to support FC3 planes. If I completely missed the question, though, please let me know. Thanks, Paul
  5. I think Kneeboard Builder is not adding the "M" to "SA-342." Once I changed the folder name that was created by Kneeboard Builder, it worked. Hope this helps.
  6. Thank you very much for your comments and for taking time to work on the mission. It can definitely benefit from some tweaks. While flying this mission we also found a few scenarios that could preclude the cargo aircraft from landing. I'll work on those and will also incorporate your changes. If you do fly this as a coop mission, I hope your group will enjoy it. Thanks again, Paul
  7. Just an update. We gave this mission a pretty good workout with the latest DCS World update as of 5/7/16 and all went well. If anyone else does experience problems, please post those and I will look into it as soon as possible. Thanks, Paul
  8. @EntropySG -- It might be a little after the fact now, but I believe the exchange should work. Sorry for not responding sooner. Thanks, Paul
  9. @skylit -- Thank you for your comments and sorry for the late response--I missed a number of posts. If your group did fly the mission, I hope it went well for you. Thanks again, Paul
  10. Thanks for the follow-up. I'm glad that you were able to resolve the issue. I'm sure this will help others as well. Paul
  11. Sorry to hear that you had problems with the mission. It does sound like there is an issue with spawning. With 3 A-10s, there should have been many more enemy convoys. I'll have a look. My scoring scheme is not ideal. Due to scaling, I don't know how many goals there will be initially. If an A-10 were to come into the mission late, and after some goals have already been achieved, new goals will spawn for that particular A-10 and will make the percent complete % reverse for a time. I have it set up such that each time any goal is achieved, the % complete gets displayed. Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for flying the mission. Paul
  12. Sorry that I wasn't able to respond earlier. I haven't run the mission since the most recent update, but a previous update did break something in CTLD.lua with regard to sling loading. The temporary fix within CTLD causes the crates to appear as vehicles. If you have not run the mission, make sure to downlaod the latest version that I posted. It has this fix. Once the root cause bug has been addressed, I'll post an updated version. Thanks, Paul
  13. Hi coconut, Thanks for the follow-up. I'll test your code and see how it goes. I'm hoping ED will ultimately fix this. It is a bug. When I first saw it I thought it was a new view. Paul
  14. You did good. Hopefully, Saitek will get inventory up again and stabilize prices all around. Also, sorry to see you are having trouble with the Multi Panel display. I wish I had a suggestion to try. Paul
  15. The Multi Panel often appears non-responsive when I start FP, but all I have to do to wake it up is press the white "AP" button a few times. It cycles between dark, blinking and on, so you may have to press it a few times for it to go dark again, but the LED panel should be on at that point. Hope this helps. Paul
  16. Updated for DCS World 1.5.3 I have updated the mission file with the latest version of CTLD.lua. There is a bug in DCS World 1.5.3 that broke simulated sling loading that was addressed with a temporary fix in CTLD. For now, the crates will appear to be UAZ vehicles. The original download link has the updated mission file. If you have any issues with the mission, please let me know. Thanks, Paul
  17. I don't know where I've been, but I was not aware of the financial problems Mad Catz, owners of the Saitek brand, have been going through until very recently. I was also told of price gouging for their products. I checked this out on Amazon and could not believe what I was seeing. $150 FIPs priced at $450 or more. $140 yoke at $450 as well. I went to Saitek's on-line store and, while the prices are still what they used to be, everything was showing as out of stock. I called Saitek to find out what's going on. The bottom line is that they are in the process of manufacturing more product and expect their inventory to be back up by May. So, my advice would be to hold off on any purchase at these outrageous prices and continue to check all sources for availability and best price in a few months. Thanks, Paul
  18. @beynesairforce -- Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I appreciate it very much. I'll have look at implementing these things. Paul
  19. Don't worry, ArturDCS is on the case. He's doing his homework on the problem and I have no doubt he'll work it out! :)
  20. No, it is not necessary to use Google Chrome with DCS-BIOS or Flightpanels. It's just a tool that can be helpful with development or troubleshooting. The latest module to be given DCS-BIOS support is the Ka-50 Black Shark. It has not yet been implemented in Flightpanels, but the test build linked in a post above does have some basic Ka-50 capability, mainly with the Radio Panel, I believe. It will be a while before the Ka-50 is fully supported in Flightpanels. Regarding other modules and DCS-BIOS, I'm not sure what the plans are from that community. Regarding the menu bar issue you are having, I don't have any comments myself. Thanks, Paul
  21. @harf4ng--One FIP seems to work without any issues. However, I think the test build I linked might still show a lag in data transfer to the FIP, which means it gets behind the on-screen/in-cockpit gauge. This lag is not always seen, so we're interested in hearing about that as well. A more recent test build, not put out yet, seems to have cured the lag issue. So far only two A-10C gauges have been modeled, the HSI and VSI. You can cycle among these gauges on one FIP by using the up/down buttons on the bottom of the FIP. Thanks, Paul
  22. Support for FIPs is underway now. See this post for a test build: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2655978&postcount=283 One issue we are experiencing is that one or two FIPs will stop responding at some point while the other one or two will continue to work (I am testing with three FIPs). We'd like to see if others are having the same issue. Thanks, Paul
  23. @tifafan -- Thank you very much for the feedback and kind words. I'm glad to hear it went well and that you and your group liked the mission. Sincerely, Paul
  24. Yep, the CTLD menu does take a little getting used to, but once you know the steps it starts to go pretty quickly. I was thinking about this a bit more and I'm not entirely sure why Cargo 2 went RTB so quickly. When Cargo 3 is released from orbit it will make its approach to Novorossiysk even though the crates from Cargo 2 are still on the runway. There must be some underlying behavior at the DCS level that I don't quite understand. Putting Cargo 2 into orbit might be a good fail safe to avoid this situation. Let me know of any other issues that might come up. Thanks, Paul
  25. @tifafan Thanks for posting the TacView file. I was able to see exactly what's happening. Cargo 2 actually does not enter an orbit. It will go straight in to Novorossiysk as long as the runway is clear. I think I did this to put on a little pressure to get those crates moved. In your mission it appears that not all 8 crates had been moved when Cargo 2 reached its waypoint no. 2. Since it could not land at Novorossiysk with a fouled runway it went RTB. I modified the mission and put Cargo 2 into an orbit until those 8 crates have been moved to zones 1 and 2, the HAWK SAM sites. Once that happens, it will make its approach to Novorossiysk. Cargo 3 will remain in orbit until Cargo 2 leaves the theater, which happens almost immediately after it drops its cargo. There will only be 4 crates, so move them quick! Here is a link to download the modified mission. I don't want to make this a release version as I have not yet tested it myself. If you do use this version, please let me know how it goes. Download: Cargo Escort Test Mission Thanks, Paul
