I also have the same problem with the g940 and I looks inside but see nothing bad because the wire that is going in to the throttle as a black outside and can't see the wires inside it. so how did you find out which cables are broken ? i unscrewed the plate under the 8 buttons so that i can pull the cable out of the throttle head but somehow it is stuck and won't move.

what does this has to do with getting me g940 as latched or unlatched ,because still nobody yet tells me how to do this

hi, maby you can tell me how to get the G940 UNLATCHED (or latched) so I can add a modifier to a knob in game because I can't use the profiler anymore due to a wire problem in the throttle which is a common problem. now when I open the MODIFIER panel on the controller tab in game ,I have only the left side where all modifiers are and right is nothing , so this means that it is not unlatched (or latched I think because i new to this unlatched or latched mode) and read somewhere that it has to by in DIRECT X MODE for that. so please can you tell me how to do this ? thkx in advance ,,,, and keep on flying !!!:thumbup:

how do you get the G940 unlatched ? I tried to find that but know luck so far. why I want that,, well I want to map me device in game because me profiler is going crazy on me due to a wire problem in me throttle which is a commen problem whit the G940. that's why I want to map all in game whitout the profiler but I can't add a modifier to a button because I did not found yet how to get it in to DIRECT X MODE for unlatche or latche mode to assign a modifier to a specified knob . maby you can tell me how you did this ? thkx in advance and keep on flying !!!:thumbup:

hi guys, I can see that for me the profiler is not working any more because my throttle wired ar bad ,which will happen whit yours and I hoop not afcourse ,but it is a common problem in the throttle. so I end up using remapping in game but only to find out that I can't put a modifier on the pinky switch for instance . I read that the device must be in DIRECT X MODE, and I search for that but did not find it . mabe somebody can how to do this if available.

Now that I read your replay I thought lets try this one more time and gues what , it worked,,,,,, now what a strange world we live in :) but first have to say that I don't use the profiler anymore because it is a pain in the ,,,,,,.,because me G940 has a common problem and that are the wires inside of the throttle that are to short and to thin made (orginal), so I am sorry to say for all you guys who have that device, you can wait for it to happen !! have an other question . how do I get me device in direct x mode ? I can't find that . when I open the "modifier" on the control tab, I have only 1 place where the modifiers are ,but the second one right of that is not there so I assume it is not in direct x mode. thkx again for you quick replay ,, and keep on flying !!:thumbup:

HI. have a question about the button mapping in the "ADD"menu. when want to assign a burron for my G940, all I see ar for instance ""joy_BTN103". how do I know what button that is on my joystick or throttle ? I read somewhere in this forum about an utility TARGET-controller viewer but I can't find that anywhere . I am searching for days now to solf this but nowhere and also in this forum I found no answer. please can somebody tell me if there is a software program where I can see what button for INDENTIFIER has that shows up in ADD BUTTON menu (not the whans on the profilere because they show there , p1, p2 ,) thkx in advance ,, and keep on flying !!!!
