  1. Thanks, I'll take a look at the guide tonight when I get home.
  2. Crunch I downloaded your control map for DCS A-10 over at CH Hanger (which I greatly appreciate you providing ) but I haven't got a chance to try it. I also searched for the dummies guide but I couldn't find it in the forums. Do you have a direct link to it?
  3. I don't want to learn how to write a script for the game. I just want to know what command to put in for instance on the X axis of the joystick. There's ch_x, joystick x (which doesn't work), along with multiple others. Please don't take my reply as rude because that's not the way it's meant. I'm just getting so darn frustrated with not having control over the controls that I spent over $350 to have for a more fun and realistic experience.
  4. Please refer to the following thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89552
  5. Sounds good. I'll keep an eye out.
  6. Any plans to release for the Android platform?
  7. Good morning fellow flight simmers. I need your help with managing my flight controls in DCS A-10 and DCS World. It all boils down to me getting so frustrated with my controllers that I'm about to through them out the darn window. I own the following CH products: Flight Stick Pro, Pro Pedals, and Pro Throttle. I've spent about six hours trying to get these things mapped correctly in the game and it just isn't working out, because there's about 25 or so options for each command. So do any of you have these products all into one map that I can use for the game? I went to a website called CH Hanger and downloaded some files from there for the A-10 game that a person had developed/mapped. I go into my control options in game to load these files and low and behold they are not the right file type. The file types that were downloaded are .map & .dcs. The file types that are needed in the game are .lua. Or if any of you are Skype users & would be willing to talk me through how to program these things that would be appreciated too. Have a nice day flying while I'm currently grounded, James a.k.a. outaluck1 :helpsmilie:
  8. Okay I seem to have gotten the rudder pedals work. But one problem was at the same time I pushed in the rudder pedals the roll and pitch worked at the same time. I kept an eye on it by pressing right control + enter. When I went to axis tune, the curvature didn't look like that at all. I tried to take a screenshot to show you but that didn't work. I'm just all confused on what the heck is going on.
  9. In the DCS A-10 game I cannot get my CH Pro rudder pedals to control the rudder. I know it works because I calibrated it in the CH control panel/control manager, but I can't figure out where to rudder left and rudder right in the options menu. The same thing happens with DCS World with the P-51. This was not a problem in another game. Any suggestions? :joystick:
  10. Disregard this thread. Please see: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89452
  11. I tried everything you said, still didn't work. So I called Natural Point and it ends up that they did a remote session with me where the support coordinator had complete control of my PC (scary). Problem is that the sensor inside the Track IR camera only sees a certain quadrant of view. So the guy gave me an RMA number and they're going to replace it for me for free.
  12. I have the software installed, and did so first before hooking up the Track IR as it said in the manual. Hooked the hat clip on, put on the hat, fired up the software and zilch. Nothing happens, no movement of the grid/head view (I do see the four ir lights though). So I decided maybe it only works in games. Fired up A-10, tried to look around, nothing. The right green light was on though. Any suggestions?
  13. Thanks to you both, I went ahead & downloaded the profiles. I'll let you know how it goes for me once I get them installed probably tomorrow or this weekend and have some time to try them out.
  14. Thanks for the feedback and links. Thanks for your input.
  15. Thanks for your replies & feedback.
  16. Does the Track IR come with a hat clip or does it need to be purchased separately? The reason I'm asking is because I don't use headphones when playing A-10 or DCS World P-51 Mustang. Another question I have is there a place/library where I can get the setups/profiles for Track IR? The reason I'm asking is because I've looked at tutorials on YouTube on how to set up the profiles but it seems quite complicated. Thanks for any input. -James
  17. I have the exact same problem, as soon as that back wheel comes off the ground the whole plane tilts to the right where only the right wheel is touching the ground. I cannot keep it centered down the centerline of the runway to get up to speed. One way that I try to compensate with this problem is to slowly increase my throttle. Which is much unlike the A-10 that I'm used to flying. With the A-10 I'm used to putting it on 100% throttle. One way I think this will differ is once I get my rudder pedals in the mail, which I have set to automatic right now in the game for the time being.
  18. Do CH or Saitek pedals have individual brakes for each wheel. The reason I'm asking is because when I play DCS World and I'm taxiing the P-51 Mustang it's hard to use the keyboard to brake the left or right wheel individually to make a tighter turn. Plus I think it would be a lot easier to do the same when trying to come to a complete stop out on the runway without having to take my hands off the controls.
  19. Nice celebration moves.
  20. Oh, I thought they were for a PC setup. Sweet description. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for your input. Where could I find out more information about the A-10 pedals? I'll take a look at the Saitek pedals as well. Thanks for the info.
  22. Hello fellow Flight Sim folks. I have a question for you. I'm looking for a pair of rudder pedals that are quite rugged and that will stand up to some wear and tear from frequent use. The types of games I'll be using this for are of course DCS A-10 and the beta version of DCS World which contains the P-51 Mustang. I'm also considering purchasing the Take on Helicopters game. I'm looking for a pair of rudder pedals that do not go heel to toe such as a gas pedal in a car. I was considering purchasing the CH Pro Pedals (300111DIS) but it doesn't say on the website whether these are heel to toe. Any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Regards, James PS Please keep in mind that I really don't want to go over $100.
  23. A-10 has much easier avionics to fly in my opinion. After you learn how.
  24. Yes I installed both exe's.
