  1. I haven't found another way. If You do, Post back. I'll do the same. You might have a better chance going into the Actual aircrafts folder. I'm Not sure if you can block independent MFCDs or not without completely killing the main export. ***EDIT*** I just checked and my RWR is Working fine. Did you turn it off by mistake perhaps??
  2. I Believe This has to do with new buttons/options being added to DCS and your old .lua file hasn't been updated through DCS to have the Bindings added. I'm pretty sure you can select the whole row and clear it. It will then let you add your bindings to it. Do 1 Row, Then the next. Make a backup FIRST !! Hope it works.
  3. For Those wondering about Nivida and SLI, here is Nivida'a page showing how to hook up 2-6 monitors with and without SLI. These cards don't have display port though. http://www.nvidia.in/object/sli-technology-multimonitor-in.html I'm getting ready for a new build to get 5 screens hopefully. I'm Still stuck on what mobo and gpu to get. Ati or Nivida ?? Also on a budget and I don't like Nvida being locked to 2screens per gpu in SLI. I've never ran an Ati gpu.
  4. Find the ViewportHandling.lua file and comment out the render_purpose.general string with -- so it looks like this.Look in here: Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit function set_full_viewport_coverage(viewport) dedicated_viewport = {viewport.x, viewport.y, viewport.width, viewport.height} dedicated_viewport_arcade = dedicated_viewport purposes = {--render_purpose.GENERAL, render_purpose.HUD_ONLY_VIEW, render_purpose.SCREENSPACE_OUTSIDE_COCKPIT, render_purpose.SCREENSPACE_INSIDE_COCKPIT} -- set purposes to draw it always render_target_always = true end
  5. The "GIANTS editor v5.0.1" can edit .dds files. Its used for making Mods in The Farming Simulator 2013. Not sure if it will do DCS, but worth a try. Pretty sure you can dlnd it for free. Just google it. Also their are some youtube vids on how to use it. Also note that the letters on cdu are white so that in the real pit the green lights can glow through it when you turn on the cockpit lights.
  6. Thanks for your answer. Seems when you set a high fov it wants to put your face in the glass. I was running into the same problem. I can't get my slider to zoom back far enough. x52 pro. I'll try your solution. I also found by using 3 cameras,1 for each screens gives a lot better fov. instead of stretching 1view across all 3 screens. but seems to hit fps. I've got 3x32" screens at 1360x768 and 2x8" usb liliput MFCDs. 3 cameras let me sit back enough and can still see each wingtip.
  7. Make copy of defaultsnapviews.lua and name it snapviews.lua ,Disable or set statement to false in the view.lua file. Change line 13 usedefaultsnapviews= false Then change your fov in the new file you made
  8. Since all the tabs are gone, I have been using the "Manage GIU Position" feature. Just uncheck "keep aspect ratio",move GUI to position and save this as a new .lua file. Then open the .lua file up you just created and rename GUI= instead to L_MFCD= or tab you are wanting it to be. Then copy/paste that part of code to the monitor.lua you will be using. Just be sure to keep the right format. Works great if all you need is custom size and position. Bad thing is I still can't shut down my 3D cockpit MFCD to save fps. Hope this helps someone
  9. I've Got the x52 pro right now, And YES, Both rotary's and the slider on the throttle are bad with the jitters. So far I haven't got them to work very good at all. When used as an Axis you can only put the dead zone on 1 end, it won't follow the slide. But it does come with SST software and Lets You Turn any Axis into BANDS or sections of travel. So I'll have to map Keyboard presses onto each band with a Dead Spot in between each band. You can also turn them into directional Axis and set the sensitivity, But each direction still has to be mapped to a keypress for it to take effect. In Other words the stick knobs itself are to touchy, but if you map to the keyboard you have more control of it. Go to their website i'm pretty sure they have a page detailing what you can do with the software. Hope this helps.
  10. I used it a while back. I Used the DCS Options Axis to fine tune it.Make sure to add dead zone and curve to all axis exepct the throttle. 2-5 deadzone and 10-18 curve.
  11. Please Help us Icemaker!! This is one of the best utilities for DCS so far.
  12. Thank you DCS for breaking all our mods. They Started out building only realistic simulators, Claiming to be military grade. Now I see another gaming platform. All these updates are just adding crap to the game, No good Textures or new Maps. The ground and buildings are Horrible and they add things like a module manger. The mission builder improvements are good, but DCS is getting so slow that I'll have to buy a faster PC just to fly.
