  1. About where an attack is undergo, the map shows in general which PAK is under attack, you can see it by the PAK flashing in red. We might add other functions, maybe repair percentages of each etc.
  2. TS is back up.
  3. And another great 1- http://www.twitch.tv/ralfidude
  4. Great twitch broadcast from the campaign - http://www.twitch.tv/iasgatg
  5. Don't worry! So what if they got Sochi, the blue side will rise up and crush the evil red side!
  6. Thank you all for showing up for the grand opening. It seems the blue side has taken a hit from the evil reds! We have lost Sochi and Sochi/Maykop FARP, but managed to capture Tbilisi/Beslan FARP. Live info - http://opblueflag-buddyspike.rhcloud.com/ We have gotten to around 60 players on the server and did not notice any lag or connectivity issues, testing and optimizing was worth it :) Server will be running 24/7 for the next 30 days unless one side captures all objectives. Let the war begin!
  7. If I remember correctly, when this was tested I was with you guys and indicated that with my past experience, the lag is usually due to the number of moving units or units vs players that are in the mission. Also, that spawning units create lag undoubtedly. As Greg wrote, the slot issue that occurred will be fixed of course. If there was any lag shown, which I do not recall, it would be either because of the issue that affected the slots or because of any local issue any single person could have. For example, I got connection interrupted at some point, but I then found out that my wife had decided to open a torrent download on the laptop  Edit - I'll just add , I'm glad for the feedback, good or bad. As this is still in testing, we are getting exactly what we expect and need.
  8. Our decision to remove it has nothing to do with server resources. Our server has a 1gb simetric line and top of the line specifications which is the best you can provide really. It has to do with DCS net code stability, therefore it is not doable with many players. We discovered this already a in our previous campaigns that held 62 players with out any lag issues. Most server administrators do not handle these kind of numbers and therefore are not aware of the issue all together and blame it on their server resources, that's just wrong.
  9. oh, there it is - http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=145416
  10. I'll have to take a look into this script soon and finalize it, I knew there were still issues when I released it here, but it was worth releasing anyway.
  11. lol nice! I know it was me in some occasions there in the KA-50 :D Very nice mission, great work Greg!!! Thank you all for showing up was really great!
  12. Latest release of the normal DCS World, not using the Open Beta. Just noticed that 1.2.16.43180.9 has been released, then yes, using that latest release which was released today.

  14. That's what I already did and it helped considerably. Working with the coroutines and yield could be very efficient.
  15. Seems like there is still an issue with the CA messages. We are running the following (it's split into 2 messages because of size limit) - I'm getting the attached screenshot results. Seems like the CA messages are overwriting some of the other messages, we sometimes get flickering messages although according to the above script, the message should be sent to different groups.
  16. Thanks Falcon, we are reworking some of the messages and the time they are displayed. 1. It's a good idea, we might do PAKs info, for example you will have in the menu an option to select a intel on a specific PAK, once you select you would be able to see airbase/FARP/City info in that PAK, PAKs are shown in the buddyspike website. 2. Repair is done between 20-30 minutes for each group in any task (aerodrome/FARP/city).
  17. Can you give an example? or explain how do you mean?
  18. Seems over what I have time to get into at the moment. Especially because programming is not my occupation and getting into this would mean a lot of time.
  19. Thanks Tomer for the feedback, we are putting in considerable time in order to get this running as smooth as possible so when it goes up 24/7 we have it as stable as we can. If anyone else has any feedback from the test run, please let us know as soon as you can so we can do what we can. Thanks!
  20. lol :D Sochi... so close!!
  21. Hey all, We have gotten to a point where the LUA scripts are quite heavy on DCS. There is processing going on that's quite heavy and in heavy multiplayer missions it is also presented with lag/warping etc.. Is there a way anyone can think of that we might be able to run some of the LUA scripts on other threads? I believe that DCS runs on one single core if I remember correctly, reducing processing power from that core would allow for better connectivity in the multiplayer missions. Thanks in advance.
  22. Welcome Derk! Looks like you are going to be an excellent asset to protect in that Huey, without you no capturing would be done! Looking forward to the opening :D
  23. Hey Gruja, Got you also registered on the Buddy Spike website, welcome aboard!
  24. nice work guys! Currently it looks like the red side has done some work after I left, they captured Sochi Gudauta and Bzyb City -
