  1. Well Monkey21 got his prize - F-15C for DCS World Congrats! :D
  2. They have 0% fuel in this round.
  3. Great vid! :)
  4. AFAIK, JTACs get the same view. Please if anyone knows different let us know.
  5. Exactly as Greg said. We understand the need that each one has, everyone wants a different kind of variant of the campaign. This is why we are working to create variants that will attempt to answer most of the requirements by you guys.
  6. Just to be clear, changing to JTAC slots does not mean you cannot control the units. It just means you cannot control the units from the F-10 map, only first person. It is half of the solution that we are planning for round 3.
  7. Contest is over! Video winner - (504)Smudge. We made a draw for the screenshots between ViFF and Monkey21, Monkey you are the screenshot winner. 1st selection goes to (504)Smudge. 2nd selection goes to Monekey21. Please announce your selected prizes from the following - A-10A for DCS World Su-25 for DCS World DCS: Combined Arms F-15C for DCS World Su-27 for DCS World And we will send them over
  8. Yeah I just opened the TS3 SDK as well, I think through there is how they made the IVC. In the Falcon folder just check - Falcon\Bin\x86\IVC\ It has all the executable for the IVC - "IVC_server.exe" and "IVC Client.exe". It works on ports - 9987-9989 UDP/TCP. http://www.krauselabs.net/dump/Hosting-Falcon-4-BMS.html If we can have something like this setup for DCS, which as you made here works with all the airplanes clickable cockpits to change radio frequencies and in FC3 planes use hotkeys it would be awesome! I sure it would take DCS to the next level of realism it so badly needs! I'm not familiar enough with how to get this project going for the TS3 SDK 3rd party application, but I would definitely assist in anyway I can. If you start working on it and need any assistance, please let me know.
  9. Great job Ciribob. I've been following Teo's work on MARS, Gaanlama just made me aware of this and it looks awesome as well. We are looking to integrate a radio system with the currently running "Blue Flag" Campaign, around 30 players per side on a regular basis. I'm not sure if any of you guys are aware, but in Falcon BMS there is a 3rd party application called IVC which uses Teamspeak engine somehow (Probably a temporary license?) but as a completely 3rd party application, is there anyway to implement something like that instead of a Teamspeak plugin? I know from Falcon that using the IVC was the best experience for an integrated radio system that I've seen so far, other TS plugins that I tested such as ARIES/TARS were a bit complex while using the Teamspeak and created issues for a lot of guys.
  10. We cracked it just now and we have a system to implement for round 3 change log out soon.
  11. Stability reasons, when editing aerodrome/FARP loads, it creates big tables in the mission file, And because we need to edit all of them the mission file gets quite big. From our past experience, a big mission file is less stable. Now that we have the mission stable and lag happens on specific occasions that we know about, we might try to change it for future rounds.
  12. It's not allowed to use Nuke bomb no matter which side you are. We will check with km0.
  13. I appreciate your commitment, but it's not allowed to move units out of their objectives. Ground command rules: 1. Can move only in first person. 2. Should not move ground units outside of objective. 3. Only dropped units from a chopper are allowed to be moved anywhere on the map, of course from first person only. 4. Moving ground units in concealed impossible to spot places such as under FARPs or inside buildings is not allowed. Please relay to anyone you know who does this.
  14. Glad to hear Toxic! :D Yes I remember this, we can check it and see if we can implement it.
  15. Don't know how it's done... because Greg and I haven't done anything, but ok :) @Aries, at the end of this round we will put up nominations for each sides MVP. The person who would be selected for each side will receive a special prize! :santa: So keep your favorite guy in mind, and nominate him when the round is over.
  16. Yes, that's a great workaround to this issue, thanks! :D
  17. ROFL:megalol::megalol::megalol: We can't sleepppp!!!
  18. Argh! Those burners took all my fuel and I had to turn back to look you guys in the face with only 100 pounds ;) I thought Teknetinium was the one to shot me down last night...
  19. First, ground units moved by the F-10 map is not allowed, it undoubtedly creates lag. Second, moving ground units as first person is allowed, as long as you stay in the objective area and do not start moving units from one objective to the other. For example - you are not allowed to move ground units from a city to an aerodrome. If someone would try it, he would not be able to capture with those units anyway and those units would not be relevant if moved to a nearby friendly objective as the script does not look at them for occupation of the wrong objective. Capturing and holding objectives works only with the original ground units that are at the objective or either have been repaired at the objective, or with newly dropped units from a chopper. Newly dropped units from a chopper are allowed to be moved through first person and are not restricted at any specific area as they can be dropped anywhere.
  20. Thank you for reporting. Guys if you have a report on someone using an exploit like driving units under a FARP, please send it to either me or Greg and we will investigate it. Tracks of each mission are saved automatically I remind you, and we can go through it, we just need estimate of time when it occurred. Now about FARPs and aerodrome not keeping captured after restart, did you see the capture message? Or did you rely on the map by clicking on it and checking the coalition? Or did you rely on the Web dynamic map as indication? Thanks Xcom
  21. Yes we saw this report. It will need to undergo tests but it might a bigger fix that could be needed and that would take Mor time. I would first wait to see the changes and results we have with 1.5
  22. I agree with Falcon. This is first and foremost, a community event. Any participant is free to join and work as he wants/knows, Squadrons that use brevity and disciplined communication are of course welcome to do so. We encourage each coalition to work together using the Channel Commander method we introduced in our SOP but it is in no way a requirement, it is simply a recommendation. I know that many guys here have different opinions on how things should run with these kind of online events which are crossing between individuals and squadrons a like. Be sure that we are thinking forward on how to accommodate different styles and insights about how it should run and we will release new information about the future of these events as soon as we have it all thought through and ready. So for the time being, enjoy the campaign we have running NOW, it is still awesome! I know I enjoy flying it a lot. Remember that this is ONLY the start, we have introduced this campaign to the community less then a month ago, our ideas are growing we will branch out and get these future events to answer many request, stay tuned! Let's all go kill each other in the awesome virtual skies of DCS :)
  23. Votes are up for prizes to the video highlights and screenshots!! Get your vote counted! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=146838
