  1. I need some valium or something cause im about to freak. My HOTAS WARTHOG throttle module fell off of my chair and landed on the mic switch and it BROKE OFF! Does thrustmasters have good customer service? Do I still have warranty? HELP!!!!
  2. If you choose the m151 you will have much better luck against infantry and area targets. The MK5 as you know is a HEAT warhead and not a HE frag. The topic was JDAMS however it has been covered. Why were they availible in Lock on? Did the A-10A carry them? Or was this overlooked and they were accidentally put in? Any insight as to why they are not used in real life? Why be limited to a 7 round pod when you could have a 19 round pod? If you are going to occupy an entire pylon then why not do it with more rockets? Just dont get it.
  3. I do ok with them not to mention they are very fun in my opion. I am aware of this.... The question remains. Can anybody give me any reason whatsoever why the 19 round hydra pods where not modeled for DCS?
  4. AWSOME NEW NEWS! Cant wait to find out what it is! I cant really think of any current fixed wing U.S combat aircraft that I would be disapointed with! Of course he didnt say it was modern or a combat aircraft for that matter however I can only assume. Will it be the F-15A? How about a strike eagle so we can still provide some C.A.S. Whatever it is I cant wait.
  5. I’m sure one exists however I was under impression that the only chemical energy round generally used by an m1 is of a HEAT design. This may not be ideal but certainly a t-80 would not be able to withstand many direct Heat rounds especially from a salvo from 10 enemy tanks ( E.R.A tiles can only take one hit each. ) In regards to Combined arms after viewing several clips on you tube it is apparent that it is intended to be more of a strategy based game than direct action. For me the contrasting levels of realism from DCS aircraft and the CA ground vehicles is just too high. I have been spoiled rotten by DCS and now even using aircraft in ARMA is basically a joke and no longer provides the level of entertainment for me due to the overwhelming level of fakeness. It is my true hope that eventually there will be an entire DCS army available with ground vehicles of the same quality as the DCS aircraft. Imagine a highly realistic detailed online battlefield where you can call in true air support from people flying highly realistically modeled aircraft. Imagine each player teaming up to man ground vehicles that are modeled in high detail as well. This is my true dream and I believe that ED is headed in the right direction. Perhaps a joint venture between ED and Bohemia interactive would yield an unparalled online battlefield. Imagine manning the turret and manipulating the controls of a BMP-3 realistically while your buddy drives and your other buddy calls out targets. The only fear is that only true simers like us would be interested and that all the call of duty and battlefield kids would be too impatient to learn how to operate vehicles. What if there were like try outs for a particular squad or unit where you have to prove your competency with a particular aircraft/vehicle and until then you are only allowed access to what you have mastered. The most interesting component of this is how the infantry would be modeled. Would the firearm itself be "clickable"? Perhaps that would be unnecessary however accurate models of an M2 or KPV could be utilized along with more sophisticated small arms such as Javelin's or Tow's. How about a highly detailed ballistics engine that would make for unprecedented sniping realism. The possibilities in my mind are endless and however boring my life may be until that point I will be glad to have dragged myself through it if this idea can be realized.
  6. On a similar note how come in DCS you cannot use the 19 round hydra pods and only the 7 rounders. What a huge decrease in firepower. Its basically a waste of a pylon to put a 7 round rocket pod on.
  7. I would certainly buy it on the spot.
  8. I remember for sure that they all fired together in the original versions. What an awsome sight that was.
  9. Thankyou mustang for the quick response!

The air tractor didnt even win the contest. It was the Embraer super tacano. That would be a pretty fun plane to fly around. I want to see all of the aircraft from Lock On brought into the D.C.S world.
  11. Im sorry if this is a repeat or odvious question. However I could not find in the flight manual anything about Night vision goggles. Are there any? If so how do I activate them. Also can somebody point me in the right direction to where I can download some nice single missions/campaigns? I am getting so bored of the in game missions and campaign. It is so repetative. Thanks! P.S where can I download that Nevada landscape that I have read about? Thanks again!
  12. I was under the impression when reading about D.C.S P-51 that there would be an option to remove the outboard guns to make room for more ammo for the inboard guns. Also that the convergance may be able to be adjusted. I do have the P-51 module and have not been able to locate any such features. Do they actually exist? If so where can I locate them. Thank you.
  13. Very nice just the kind of response I was hoping for! Gives me something to look forward too ( besides of course whatever the next official D.C.S release is ).

Your joking right? I think we are all waiting to get some DCS level jet to jet combat going. C.A.S is really fun but that ground is pretty much covered ( although I would be more than happy if the next release was a D.C.S SU-25T )
  15. Is there actually going to be a full world war two campaign with ww2 ground units and aircraft and scenery? Or will the P-51 just remain a lone ww2 machine in the current DCS environment. Thankyou.
