Fantastic information. This should be placed front and center for anyone who owns WinWing, and wants to us VR too! Thank you Ditch!

Good Morning all! I am working to build out an F16 cockpit using Tek Creations panels. I have an idea, where I would design and send to a fab shop, 4 aluminum panels for the right and left console mounts for all of the control panels. Using his mounting templates (DXF files?) - I should be able to get the cutouts right. That being said - I am totally new to the idea of designing files to represent this. And am 100% willing to learn, and make mistakes. With all the knowledge here, I was hoping to presume to ask for a few pointers, website links and software packages that can be used on KDE Neon / Ubuntu desktop. (I use windows for DCS and iRacing, but that is about it). In addition to that, I have 2 Thrustmaster USB MFD button panels that I'd love to get working internal screens setup on. Is there an authoritative site that has done this already? I assume that cutting aluminum with a laser cutter involves several thousands of dollars of investment. Perhaps black Plexiglass might be the way to go? Or perhaps I design the files and send to a "cutout" shop? (is that even the right word? LOL). I realize I am stepping into a very, very deep rabbit hole - and while I have google'd a bunch about laser cutters, cad, etc... It's a bit overwhelming, and I would welcome a bit of mentoring as I start out. Getting pointed in the right direction by the knowledgeable people here, I think, would be very, very helpful. Thank you all in advance - and I appreciate any of you that are willing to give me gentle or not so gentle nudges in the right direction.

I have found out why this is happening. I use left windows key + home to auto start the F18. When I do this, the space key turns into some kind of monster, and returns random keystrokes. I can then exit out of DCS via alt - tab. Press left windows key + home. And return to DCS, and all seems normal again. Is the windows+home combination doing something to the OS? Keyboard system?

I too am trying to get things setup / configured for optimal VR. Right now, I am running a 2080TI and an AMD 3800X + Vive Pro. About 10% off the metrics off, I assume, the king of the hill for DCS which would be an i9 9900K (correct me if I am wrong). All of this runs on a Samsung SSD. Shaders installed, medium settings. Running at 1.5 resolution via Steam VR. (PD in DCS is set to 1). I am still playing around with it - but in an F16 on the CCIP training mission, I get a pretty steady 45fps with the rare stutter. It will go up to 90fps. On the supercarrier case I mission, I was struggling to keep 35fps. All according to fpsvr. Strangely, fpsvr shows the video card doing just fine, and the CPU in all orange. (Which I understand is not good). Anyone have thoughts or comments on what area I might want to examine next?

Is it possible to change the menu's (Radio menu) so that they are dragable in game, and remember their positions? I have a 4 monitor setup with a GTX670 - and I use 3 monitors in an Obutto, and a 4th monitor to hold the MFD's for A-10 Virtual Cockpit for iPad. two things happen that are knid of a pain. 1) the radio menu positions itself out on the far edges of monitor #4. 2) the text for training, and for other messages positions itself on the far left of monitor #1. Ideally, I'd like to be able to control those positions without editing lua's - in game.

Nvidia GTX 670 - heat blur does not show up properly - but shows up as black plumes? Why would this be?

Possible Fix for DCS World Multiplayer Crash Issue
LoneRegister posted a topic in Multiplayer Issues
Ok - here is what worked for me. Navigate to the Users/<YOUR NAME>/Saved Games folder. Locate the DCS folder - and rename it "DCS - OLD" Start the game, and it should work. Copy the new DCS to "DCS - Good" Now - your config etc.. are going to be erased. You can either use the game to restore it - or try to copy lua files back into the new good folder. Once you have a good working config - copy that back over to the DCS - Good folder. When your game crashes again, you should copy the DCS - Good back over to the DCS folder. I'll update this again if I find any other changes/issues with this method. So far - it's very tenative. I see that lots of people are having the problem, and wanted to get up the method that solved the issue for me tonight. Kevin -
Ditto that as well. I do not hear any voice from the instructor on all of the A-10 training missions. I have only done the a-10 training missions as I am practicing just on the A-10 right now. So - no instructor voice for me any more either. Help! Kevin

yeah - the flight model now departs nicely when you yank and bank too hard.

upgraded to 1.2.0 - now missing voices

upgraded to 1.2.0 - now missing voices So in the training missions, and instant action, I am missing voice communication for activities that I am supposed to do. I get the text, but no voice. Any thoughts? -
Hi there. What are the chances that VC will be config'd to work with DCS World?
