  1. The file is dynamic based on the multi session, so I don't think this route will work. :cry:

C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\network.cfg Changed: pause_on_load = true, >>>> pause_on_load = false, Saved File Started a new multi mission... it's paused... opened network.cfg again scratching my head and the pause_on_load had went back to false all by itself. Which also explains why I found it True today/now after thinking that I changed that last night. It must revert somehow. Remap Pause to "Up Arrow": No effect This setting is a fighter... :mellow: Other info... this machine is on a domain and I'm a domain admin... so local admin rights are moot. Should I mess around with: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts\Input\InputEvents.lua addEvent("Pause", KEY_PAUSE) addEvent("PlayPause", KEY_PLAYPAUSE) Thanks all, B
  3. Hi and thanks! I was aware of this setting, but would like to keep SOP's in place by having the ability to Pause/UnPause like normal. Is there another way?
  4. I've been through a number of threads and haven't had any luck with this issue. Rebinding the Pause key hasn't helped... Regediting a key as Pause/Break didn't help... Tried SmartKeys, but Pause/Break wasn't a key until the regedit... Strangely, CTRL+Pause/Break will show the framerate as it should, so the key works.... and I can Unpause the mission at the console. Anywho...   5. Thanks again for the reply. As far as render3d is concerned, I've already turned it off... it was just an idea on how to implement a multiplayer-only machine... turn that option off permanently and you'll have a server only type of machine. As far as getting the whole wing to play the free version of World for an extended period over an extended testing phase, I think I'd have better luck talking them into shooting themselves. I need to load test on something that people are willing to spend time on. :smilewink: B
  6. Thanks for the quick reply! While I can see the need for protection and how this is applied (thanks for that, btw), I wish there was a license for multiplayer servers... one with relaxed activations and no ability to join in... remove the ability to render3d altogether... whatever works for everyone. At the moment, I'm scared to make adjustments because support appears to be so far behind in replying to activation type tickets... which has me deadlocked in testing and that much further from actually using the license with my team. When the protection defeats the product, I think there should at least be a discussion regarding VM's. Thanks! Brian
  7. Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble as I iron out my multiplayer server VM running on VMWare ESX. When I make an adjustment to the hardware, I'm forced to reactivate... which has me burning through activations. Has anyone considered this issue? I haven't been able to find much guidance on creating a multiplayer server and don't recall seeing anyone trying this on a VM. It works, so long as you run Win7... but I keep making adjustments because I don't have much of a blueprint to follow and I'm still testing the load and such. 2k8R2 VM's aren't possible due to 3d support being removed, btw.   8. Hi All, Wondering if anyone else gets this issue... the HUD is a little off center sometimes regardless of how many times I re-center things. I don't think this matters, but I use TrackIR. It centers up just fine... everything in the pit is fine... but sometimes I have to chase the darn HUD around with my head to center it up. Most of the time it's fine... but occasionally, it's pretty off no matter what. Is that a yaw correction from winds or something? Thanks! Brian
  9. Hi All, I'm new so this may not be the best way to do things, but my CDU and EGO were destroyed in flight so I zoomed in on the TAD map to find an airfield to land. I saw a couple on the map nearby, but they weren't listed on the regular airfield map I pulled from the forums... the names were weird... and the map didn't even look like what I was flying over (I was next to water, but no water on map). Is the map correct or just something they pulled off the web to make it look nice? No biggie either way... I can always fall back to TACAN and ILS if they don't get shot up as well. :) Thanks! Brian
