When I click the backslash key I only get UVHF. How do I switch to UHF ? No reference in manual or anything resembling radio selection in the communication section of the controls ..

OK...then you guys are doing something that is intuitively clear to you but not to me... Here is what I do. Make sure both radios are on channel 1. Take off and reach cruise altitude. Call up the radio command by pressing backspace key Select F1 for wing Select F9 to go formation Select say F3 to go trail What am I doing wrong ?

Mission to intercept phantoms. Both radios are on channel 1. Still no response from wingies...!?

Trying to use the communication to wingmen. I can hear them but it seems like they do not hear me. Therefore I cannot command them Did I miss something or is this a bug ? Thanks

My take is that I want to support DCS because of their outstanding work. I bought the Ka-50 just because of that. I never actually fly it. Not into choppers. So yes, US$59 for pre-release is a steal in my mind. Especially since that also includes me upgrading from DCSW 1.5 to 2.5 for free. DCSW 2.5 development did not just happen overnight... Keep up the good work DCS.

I do not have it yet....but for the pre-purchase price of $59.99 I think it is a fair price given the complexity (true multirole) and eyecandy... I am OK with the price....keeping in mind products like PMDGs 747 for P3Dv4 etc.

Well, I bought the Mirage. The 530 missile hardly qualifies as a viable BVR weapon imho. Having said that, it looks nice. I am working through the (incomplete due to constant upgrades) tutorials and Chuck's documents. Lots to learn - I am definitely not giving up on it. If anybody has an X52 HOTAS config file they are willing to share I would appreciate it. Thanks

There was no mention of needing to press the lock target twice for the 530. Once that was done all went OK. Then I went on to get the two Su27s but simply could not lock them. Is there a trick to locking them while the Magic is armed ?

So I lock on to the bogey and keep following it in anticipation of a launch. But I get no sound queue. After a while I lose lock and cannot get anything to show on the radar even though I can see the C130 in front of me with my eyes... What did I miss ?

Mission 6 air to air combat. After I drop the fuel tank I no longer get any voice over. It just keeps flying. Any ideas folks ? Thanks

I have the full FC3 range but want to move out. If the Mirage has a semiactive bvr missile that will be fine with me as I am used to the Su27s R27 series... Guess that rules out the Viggen...

I currently only gave the F15C. Am looking at the Harrier, Vigen and Mirage. But it seems to me that their incarnations in DCS World do not give them any BVR air-to-air missiles. I know the Harrier IRL has the AIM120 but not in DCS. Maybe I will just wait for the Hornet. Any comments appreciated... Thanks

Does anybody have any tips on how to complete mission 3 ? I am thinking that rockets would be best - but those little boats are hard to hit.:( Would they not be blown out of the water by the ships IRL anyway ?

Happy to report that you were right. Old drivers (v6) have all buttons working correctly. V7 drivers do not work correctly in Windows 10. Go figure...

Title says it all. I cannot lock target with the Tab key. Any ideas ? I also have an X52 that had button 6 previously assigned to it. Now DCS does not recognise that key any more. Just moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and copied all the Saved Games / DCS World folder content from my previous OS. Any suggestions ?

This is not related to any DCS products but I am frustrated by the fact that my Saitek Rudder pedals and X52 controllers do not work correctly in Windows 10. In the main Windows 10 control panel > Devices and printers all button presses are recognised OK. But in FSX and in DCSW some button presses are simply not recognised or they stop working after a while. I have so far disabled USB selective suspend in my power options but no luck. I have reinstalled the Saitek Drivers but no luck. Thanks for any tips/suggestions

my DCS World installation is on drive C:\ but I am running out space on it. Can I point NTTR to be installed on a different drive ? Thanks
