  1. Just confirming that with latest updates Su33 campaign mission 10 does not detect groups 1 and 4 dead. Consequently mission does not trigger success condition even though these groups are dead. Thanks for staying on top of things folks...
  2. The four F-14s can never takeoff. The first two succeed but the third and fourth crash and burn. One remains on a fake deck and a mission success trigger becomes impossible. Had to change the flight to 2 aircraft only. (3 also works). Repairing does not fix the issue. Thanks
  3. Flying the Su27 and Su33 I find there is a discrepancy between the HUD and the ADI indicator at ranges more than 10 kms out. Yes, in previous versions what you saw on the HUD matched exactly what the ADI indicated. So...what I have done is made the ADI the PRIMARY point of reference. I ignore what the HUD tells me at that point. Once I am correctly stabilized on the glide path I find that the HUD and ADI go back to matching and I can fly the last 2 kms just by watching the HUD. Not sure if this is a bug really...but it definitely behaves differently from Flanker 1 and Flanker 2. Yeah, I know it was a long time ago...:)
  4. Yeah, not expecting a SU-34 module. Totally understandable. But in the meantime a nicer AI module is oh so needed...
  5. I feel that it needs to be said. The improved graphics and improved performance are a job well done. Now if only we got nicer-looking F14s and Su34s....yeah, I know it is a minor issue. Cheers and Happy New Year all. And - of course -Merry Christmas to the team. :thumbup:
  6. When there is AWACS reporting my Su-27 AI wingmen ignore my commands to attack my target or engage bandits. This is annoying in the heat of the moment as I am quite busy avoiding incoming missiles - I will often not have enough time to issue the command to the wingman again. Thanks

  8. I will answer my own question. I was trying to fly an old version of the campaign mission. When I tried the latest version (February 2015) the SU25s appeared just fine. All good.

  10. Hi Mark and Rich, good to hear from other old-timers....hey, is it 20 years now from the Windows 95 Su-27 ? Man, we ARE old :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Su-27_Flanker_%28video_game%29 Yep, reflew mission 1 of the Ultimate Argument Campaign a couple of times. Waiting for RTR queue improves R-27ER efficiency significantly. My problem is that I drift in and out of FC3. I simply cannot fly anything other then the Su-27 but am still waiting for the SMT version (or whatever multi-platform version we will eventually end up getting). That means I sometimes forget some of the niceties associated with the Flanker - which compounded with occasional changes in missile behaviour forces me to re-learn some things.:book::book::book: One thing I really miss is a trim AXIS rather than trim buttons. Otherwise she really looks good. Thanks for chiming in. Happy New Year to both of you.

Without reading the whole list my observations are as follows: Su-27 with R27ER vs 4 SU25 excellents .... no hits at ALL in 20 attempts Su-27 with R27R vs 4 SU25 excellents 2 hits from 6 attempts Su-27 with R27 vs 4 SU25 excellents 2 hits from 6 attempts And I really waited to get in range. I spent money on the SU-27 campaign but cannot get past the 4 Su25s because my R27ERs are useless. Guess I could switch to R27Rs or T77s...but I should not have to. Needs work....Please fix ASAP.   12. I used to trim my Su-27 with my X52 throttle rotaries. Now with the new version all I have is buttons...This is not very practical. Would love to regain the ability to trim up/down using an axis. Can we please have this back ? Thanks

  14. Can somebody very simply state the locations and file names that need to be deleted so that I can start with a new blank/default key assignment ? I understand the concept but I am not familiar with the folder structure.... I presume that C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Input folder needs to be deleted. Can somebody please confirm ?   15. Cannot unlock target Tried both my assigned controller key and backspace. Nothing works. All my other assignments work OK. Any suggestions folks ?
  16. When I am cruising along at 8000ft and 60 FPS turning the cockpit lights on in the SU-27 drops FPS to 45. This is regardless of HDR being turned on. Does not happen with other aircraft I tested...Su25T, Mig29S
  17. How do I go about creating SnapViewsDefault.lua in this folder: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View I had a file but it seems like the system was not reading it. Instead it was reading the same file from: C:\DCS World\Config\View Thanks
  18. Thanks for that...THAT works with engines off - as it should. Guess they have to now decide whether to remove the radio menu item or fix it.... Paying beta tester . . . . what I would not do for ED :-)

  20. Not able to rearm/refuel any more. Is there something new in the form of requirements ? I shut engines down, request ground power and select loadout and fuel quantity. Nada happens. Bug or am I missing something ? Or do I need to create a new mission? Currently in mission 8 SU-27 campaign. Thanks.
  21. AI does not seem to follow directions. Line abreast does not work. Wedge seems to take forever - with #4 always dragging behind for no obvious reason. "Follow route" makes them go in a direction that does not make sense. Plus they use fuel like crazy. We reach engagement area and I have 70 % fuel in my Su-27 while one of my wingmen is already calling bingo fuel. They go afterburner with no reason. Sometimes they do not even increase speed even with AB on. Would be good to give a higher priority to fixing AI behavior. Thanks
  22. The flight of four F16 flying out of Gudauta spawns correctly. Then instead of taking off they make a U-turn and make the takeoff run over grass in the opposite direction. None survive takeoff. I think this is a result of 1.2.4.
  23. using the new 6DOF Su-27 pit. When pressing E no ECM light comes on. Also, the Beryoza now lights up clockwise - as opposed to counterclockwise prior to new cockpit
