training video SU-27 and Radar. I ran the training video for radar systems, and the training video keys and functions do not match the DCS FC3 systems per keys.
Example:
(IRST) Infrared Missile Tracking, etc.. suppose to be the 'T' key, but not so in the game, also, many other modes not coming up on HUD. I think the training video is a left over from FC2... or?? In any case, the radar functions do not match at all, cannot even assign other keys and bring up the proper functions.
More examples are there.. if anyone can figure out how to get all of the functions working...

Track and scan modes, and much more , not working properly.
Maybe there is an other training video we need to swap out? or maybe my files were corrupted during the patching process, or the DCS SU-27 is different then the stand alone version? :cry:

For the SU-27 , the thrust vectoring controls, Thrust smoothly, Thrust Step, up, down, left, right, etc... I put these controls on my joystick.. after the new patch...
not only for acrobatics, but could be used for turn fights.
Looks like a high learning curve...

I have not read much about the aircraft changes, but can we actually change the thrust vectors, like in real life now? If they actually can in real life... btw, I only have FC3, so that's the version I will try when it gets patched..

if we do this mod for adding JTAC, will we have any problems in multiplayer? in other words is it compatible with other players in COOP mode? Thanx

Guess I didn't explain myself well...
Yes, I know about brake bias, and just tap them to reset them...
it is when braking, something, often they do not have enough braking power when taxiing. It is like they have a weak brake master cylinder. Full of air in the break lines. Of course I am not saying that is the cause, but it is equal to that in real life.

I am not talking about the brakes during landing. Taxiing is what is flaky...

I sometimes have braking problems when taxiing. Like when I am in the
F-15C, sometimes the brakes are just crummy. Sometimes brakes are adequate on some planes. They just feel inconsistent. Even when I bypass my joystick and just hit the 'W' key for brakes. Not sure if anyone else is concerned. Maybe the modeling, or code can be tweaked so the brakes work better. In real aircraft, I think they are a bit better. IMHO

well, Saitek killed the Saitek help forums.. so,,, looks like they are killing off even the smallest bit of support, besides, most help came from other users, but they did have a couple staff members stop in and help once in a while.. now, we have nothing...

Question, in a nutshell:
Those of us with FC3, we get an updated version FREE of the SU-27. In a patch, to FC3, we will have the updated SU-27? We don't have to download a module, since we already have FC3, right? Thanx

Is there a way to place a helo on a moving ship without it moving around? When I build a mission and place a helo (Ka-50) the helo just moves around, a whole lot. So, I cannot place it for startup on anything smaller then a carrier. On the carrier, it has enough room it will not move into off anything, at least for a little while. :joystick:

I found some **New** ?? nose wheel commands in the Controls section of F-15C DCS. I set some keys for the nose wheels commands for nose wheel. Now I can turn very sharp, when I use both my rudder and the key command together. It is more of a :joystick: pain because now I have to let go of the stick to press more keys.

I have just started noticing that I am having problems with the F-15C when I taxi, I am having turning. It is like it no longer does sharp turns. The front wheel only turns with the rudders. What happened? I used to be able to very sharp turns while I taxi. :helpsmilie:

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I even did a complete reinstallation of DCS. Thanks to the OP for the suggestion though. :-)
I have a Nvidia 460 video card, and thought about trying these drivers, but since your card is like mine, I guess I shouldn't bother... IMHO
