  1. Please help with auxiliary radars Hi , I am trying this question again, maybe this time I have more luck:. I normally play it with easy-avionics mode to be able to use the lock-next-aircraft shorcut key. In addition, I also hide the cockpit to have a better view for dogfights. However the auxiliary windows at the top-right and bottom-right (for the enhanced situation and radar respectively) they just take to much space in my opinion. How can I turn them off and leave the easy-avionics on?
  2. Hi Dio, I am interested in upgrading my PC to a similar setup as yours. 2700k + GTX680. Can you mantain 60fps before takeoff without stuterings or drops (all graph-settings maxed)?
  3. In the latest patch/update to FC3 beta, DCS has gracefully ported old FC2 campaigns into FC3. I have been playing extensively the "Over the Hump" Mig-29S campaign and have found two bugs: 1- When you try to change the weapon-load before starting a mission, pressing the Mission-Planner, then Mission-Editor cannot start correctly and it partially shows the right toolbox but then it freezes and you cannot continue playing the game. 2- The mission "SEAD Escort" always fails because the SEAD SU-25 cannot correctly engange the two main targets.
  4. One suggestion:In FC3, when Game-Avionics is on, and you fly with the cockpit off, there are two radars but they take too much space. There should be a key to turn them off in cycles.
  5. How to turn off auxiliary windows in easy-avionics mode? Hi , I have just purchased Flamming Cliffs 3 beta, and I just think its wonderfull.
  6. For me, it is definitely worth of a PC upgrade As I was writing in here, the graphics are amazing when most settings maxed... By the way, at that level, my PC can only hit about 30fps so I was wondering, what GPU series (NVidia GTX 690, 680 or AMD 7970) it's most optimized for this game?? (There are some games that are even developed with a specific card in mind. For example HAWX 2 was designed for the Nvidias of that era). So what do you say, Nvidia or AMD Radeon?
  7. Well at least for me at least, but I am sure for many others as well: I think you all have suffered at least a bit about the lack of ACM skills of the AI pilots in FC2 ... This weekend I decided to go with the prepurchase for FC3, and let my share with you that not only the graphics are just amazing (in my opinion better than arcade blockbusters Ace Combat Assault Horizon, HAWX2 and simulators SF2, BMS, FreeFalcon 6, etc) but the skills of the AI pilots in dogfights are so much better. While the AI still loves too much vertical loops, they also try to throw several other tricks at you and it's just so fun to try to keep in their tails. I particularly enjoy setting guns-only missions where I appear just behind the enemy. So, for Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics, many many  and please, I beg of you, don't mess with this fun in the soon to come release/patch versions. Now if possible, we could have more fun in FC3 of course, and in that case, you could probably take a look at the ACM performed by the AI in Strike Fighters 2 NA or Free Falcon 6. If you try to keep up with them, you could really believe that you are fighting against another human amateur pilot which is just fine for fun. It's true that the AI in this games is predictable with time, but that is also fine for having fun and improving skills of the player. Have you guys seen AI ACM skills equivalent of a truly ACE human pilot in other flying games?
  8. Steps to improve enemy AI in Flamming Cliffs 2? Hi Has someone noted that Lock-On-Flamming-Cliffs2 has a very limited set of dogfighting AI skills? For example, I normally set up a mission where I appear 500mtrs behind one enemy in a 1v1 guns-only dogfight. The enemy AI only performs loops of different types to try to shake me. No matter if the AI is set at Average, Good, etc they only resorts to different types of vertical loops. I have seen this AI behavior on F-15C, F-14A, F-5E, etc but not on Mirage2000. On the mirage, the AI tries a little to perform other types of ACM. With similar guns-only missions on the original LockOn, the AI almost do not perform loops and tries to jink and several other moves. It is very very boring, to do a gunsonly dogfight with an enemy that only perform vertical loops. Do you know how could I force the AI to do other moves in Flamming-Cliffs2? (Obviously I would prefer to play Flamming-Cliffs2 because of the improved graphics and flying-model than the original LockOn) TIA, ralch Guatemala
