Hi guys. First of all, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but could you please tell me what would be the best place to advertise the Hotas Cougar MFD and 8" Liliput touch screens I have for sale? I finaly bought into the Oculus Rift and won't have any use for these anymore. Since I'm out of the Home cockpit "loop" I don't know where would be best to advertise this. There's always ebay, of course, but that place has become a mess for searching, so I was wondering if there were alternatives Once again, sorry if I'm abusing any forum rules, If so, the mods can delet this or move it to a better sub-forum. Thank you.

Yes,I know. Upgrading the RAM would be the only upgrade I would be willing to go for right now, Definetly up to 16GB, but, depending on price, maybe a bit more. Apart from that, would it work?

Hi all. When the first minimum specs for the Rift where announced, I decided to wait until the arrival of the "2nd generation of VR" to upgrade my PC, mainly because of the lower resolution of the current gen. I used to fly the A-10C, but I've recently bought the Ka-50 and am absolutely loving the helicopter experience. I made the mistake of starting to read forum posts about how awesome the OR is for flying heliscopters, and now I find myself fighting the urge to get a CV1. So my question is one that I'm sure has been asked many times, and for that I ask for your patience. With the following specs, would I be able to have a "normal", VR experience, with a pixel density above 1.5? My system specs are: CPU is a QuadCore Intel Core i7-975 Extreme Edition, 3466 MHz (26 x 133) with 6GB DDR3- 1333 RAM GPU is a AMD Radeon RX 480 with 8 GB RAM I play the game on a triple 24" monitor set-up with and average of 30fps, with these settings: What is the most realistic decision to make, between buying just the Rift now (and maybe some extra RAM, but no other upgrades), or waiting for that 2nd gen to be realeased and THEN upgrade the PC AND buying the new Rift? It turns out I had two problems: One was a corrupt file, that was triggering that integrity check and the other, as EtheralIN suggested, was a conflict between the pedals and the Y axis of my joystick, both assigned to the same axis. How that happened I just don't know. But the problem is sorted, so everything's fine! Cheers & thanks for taking the time to help me out.

I'm positive about it being some corrupt file, because I'm trying to play a MP game and I'm failing the integrity check... :-( I guess I'll be re-installing the game after all. I just need to save my input profiles.

Hi! I installed some mods (Ricardo's HD cockpit mod + A10-F15C-Su27 Joint Pack for FC2 v1.6 + liftlines + F-15 cockpit mod from Jumper) in FC2 and now my F-15 can't pitch up or down. All th eother planes work perfectly, except for the F-15. I installed the mods with ModMan's latest version, but even after copying the files from the backup folder into my FC2 folder, I still can't get full pitch control. The plane barely raises up or bunts and both the stick and the elevators flicker between fullback pull and level flight. I uninstalled all the mods and ModMan too. I'm hoping I don't need to re-install the game, so I thought about useing my friend's clean install to get the proper files. Can someone tell me what folder(s) do I need to copy, to fix this problem? OK, assuming it's normal behaviour, I have to ask -and please, bear with me: would this happen in real life? I mean, the plane is subjected to other forces that must surely destabilize it enough to break this perfect flight path... even the weakest crosswind will throw it off that course. cheers!

I was playing the Su25 quick mission and something very strange happened: I pointed the plane up, with maximum thrust engaged and ejected and the plane, suprisingly, kept on climbing until going below min. speed and then strated diving. Only instead of crashing down (it was high enough when ejected, obviously), it picked up speed and after a while restarted climbing, this time reaching a higher altitude! And it went on and on like that for more than 30 minutes. I left it like that while I went for dinner, and when I returned the plane was flying a straight course at what I suppose it's his max. operating altitude. Now, I know FC has and advanced flight model, but surely, this has to be some kind of bug, right? Cheers!
