Gentlemen, I need your advice regarding to the amount of experience you gained abouth Trackir. I can make a good deal buying a Trackir4 pro device. Now is it so much difference regarding to Trackir5 you advice me to wait and buy version5 or is 4 pro also a huge difference and enough to fly with in DCS compared to 5 ? I dont have any headtracking device atm so i realy dont know what i can expect. Ty in advance for your input. :)

If you are talking abouth the integrated intel graphic chip om your mobo, just deactivate the intel chip in bios?

Didn know this abouth the older versions able to join a server. Think some people have to look into that. tnx for the info ENO

Hi Timekilla :smilewink: I tried to use a profile for my x52 and got nothing but controlls not working. Sinds i set everything up in the DCs controll menu i have no problems at all and it all works ,ever hatswitch etc etc. Works flawless for me. cya ltr in the skies m8 :)

i have taken care of this already. I have set all the progs etc wich could cause problems not to start with windows but manual. I like to be in controll of my slave called PC :smilewink: Althoug good advice :thumbup: tnx

Gentlemen this is starting to get serious now. I cant end a startup procedure anymore withouth connection interrupt. In DCS version 1.2.3 i had no problem at all , but sinds the update to DCS 1.2.4 i have nothing but connection interrupts before i even able to go airborne with my lovely flying tools. No matter wich module i select its the same problem. I have set options to Lan ,rebooted my router ,modem and gave all permissions to my firewall like it was in version 1.2.3 Oh and importend i dont use any mod but only the original clean modules and DCS install. A usa pilot i fly with regulary has the same isue in this version. i would like to say if the servers in the server list would show there version it would be helpfull before pilots enter the rooms. In my case if i have the wrong version i wouldnd be able to stay in some servers dor 3 or 5 mins max before i get disconnected. So this is not the problem for me its a problem that came with the last update. I also want to know and plz post it here if more people have this isue so ED can take note of it and take care of it in the next patch? Hope i wil be able to fly in online servers again soon as it is now its unplayable for me :( :helpsmilie:

Hi Gentlemen. After installing the new DCS 1.2.4 patch i suffer alot of disconnects from servers. A team bro of mine has also alot of disconnects now. P51,Ka-50 bs2 , FC3, A10C Longer loading times , doesnt matter wich airplane i jump in it takes 2 minutes before i can do anything seems to be freezed. Inside and outside view have alot of 3 or 4 second freezes and hickups wich makes me crash into the ground due to no controll at that time." Unplayable dind change any graphic settings in DCS so it should work like before. I also play bf3 on high settings occasionally and no problems inthere ( verry system hungry game) so it cant be my system. The DCS patch1.2.3 was smooth for me. My system: E8500 dualcore 3.16 MHz 6 gig ram ddr2 1333 MHz GTX 470 nvidea graphic card newest drivers. Win7 64bit ultimate I wonder are there more people with similar problems? :helpsmilie:

When i start spinning in my P51 i decrease the trottle and center my stick . This way i always get out of a spin. although everytime when i do a sp mission my stick settings are way more sensitive as it is online. Online without any changes made regarding to finetuning axis etc my P51 flies just perfect with defauld axis settings! I find it strange this ofline and online behavior of my p51 withouth changes made.

tnx for trying to help and all this info i wil use it as much as possible. its working this was my problem: Axis commands - On the Options | Controls | Category drop-down, there are some important choices Flight Control | Collective- this changes blade position for more or less lift. It is the most important - if you have just one throttle, use it for the Collective. Throttle - Engines will be at 95% to 100% most of the time - fine control is not needed. PageUp/PageDown for Idle-Medium-Auto-Full I changed the axis wich i set to trothle to collective and i get airborne now :thumbup: Got alot of help also from the pilots who where online. tnx!

it has something to do with trottle then? I tried to press 2 times pgup , nothing happend. Ill try it again and check my control settings first i let you know. tnx

Hi Gentlemen, I am new to chopper flying and it seems i cant figure out what i forget to make the Ka 50-v2 go airborne after both engines are running etc. no matter what i try it doesnt go up lol only sidewards on the ground.:joystick: Does some1 has a startup sequence telling me what to do to get up? :helpsmilie: Regards Baracuda

Im glad i am not living with mum anymore. I understand much better now where al the buttons and switches are for ;) The good things abouth all the questions is , its a good indicator for belsim to know that there DCS product is wanted and if enough people actually buy it i am sure we wil face more of there plendid modules for DCS. "Excuse" me gentlemen i wasnt precise enough :helpsmilie: I downloaded these training files ( exe) as they dont excist in DCS after i installed the modules. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/video/ When i try to install them i got a popup wich says it cant find DCS on my HD? And the file(s) doesnt install. I have DCS installed in the main root of my C drive and not in programfiles etc. hope this is more clear now? tnx. :)

Gentlemen, I purchased Ka-50 2 and wanted to use the trainings for it. After downloading the file i tried to install it but got a popup wich told me it couldnd find DCS ? I have everything ( DCS and modules) installed on my C drive: eagle dynamics and not in prgramfiles etc. Hope some1 had the same problem and fixed it. tnx

Hello fellow pilots, Yesterday i purchased the P51D mustang module to add to the ones i already have. This for 2 reasons: 1. To support ED in further development of more historical warbirds i also love so much. DCS has so much potential if ED is making the right moves to develope modern and ww2 era warfare planes and maps,they wil suk every other sim dry from pilots.:D 2. I am starting to get addicted to fly lots of differend planes old and new warfare birds with a high level of difficulty in there simulation. For now i have 1 big question. I want to try to make a working new skin with our clan colours and emblem for my mustang wich i can pass on to the other pilots with P51D in my clan. I dont want to take alot of some1s time and like to explorer handed knowledge to me by myself to gain the skill of making skins. Therefore i surched for a manual/tutorial ,but dind succeed to find 1 explaining it to me from the scratch. If some1 would push me a bit in the right direction i would be verry thankfull for it. For me personally is time and motivation to figure it all out no problem so its not your waste of time. Ty in advance.:thumbup: =S*E= Baracuda
