  1. Am I reading this right: to to start with, flyable P-51D, P-47 & Spitfire versus Bf 109 & Fw 190 D? And later (depending on Kickstart) flyable B-17, P-38 & Mosquito versus Me.262?
  2. Hadwell, I read what you wrote. You don't need to 'slow down' to stall, end of story.
  3. Wings don't stall at a fixed speed. You can stall at any speed - it is the angle of attack that matters.
  4. Is it just me, or is there some sort of bug with the wing tank fuel gauges (the ones on the floor by the seat)? They seem to swap almost at random between giving a proper reading, and reading zero. I could understand them misreading while manoeuvring, but they seem to do it even in level flight. Am I doing something wrong?
  5. The FM clearly needs work - it should have landed itself: http://www.torch.aetc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123242002 ;)
  6. It's a P-51. They do that...
  7. Bf 109E? Why an Emil? Few 109E's were in service by the time the P-51D arrived, surely?
  8. One thing that is confusing me is when exactly you are supposed to prime the engine. The manual says on page 73 "The engine should be primed only when it is turning over.", but on page 124 it says "Start-Up. After completing the Pre-start check, proceed with engine start-up as follows: Prime the engine three to four seconds if it is cold, one if hot. Raise the starter switch cover and hold switch at START." Am I supposed to prime before pressing start, or while I'm holding it down? The latter seemed to work, anyway.
