This is a bit out my control, but we are absolutely going to be putting together F-35A Test Cards and OPEVAL Missions for the Test Team over the Nellis AFB Ranges!!
-
Hello Mike, we intend to make a limited number of F-35 aircraft with custom tail codes, squadron markings, numbers, and name/call sign. This aircraft will be selectable in both standalone and multiplayer modes. Eagle

Kickstarter is now live!! Eagle

Hi guys just wanted to make a quick comment on the F-35 Icon. It's just a test Icon we use to test the aircraft in DCS - test team only. It will be modified, when released, as to fit in with other interface options. I know trust must be earned - I respect that, but please understand that I have tied my team to DCS. We don't want to do anything to hurt the platform... We want it to grow. Its the last best hope for high fidelity combat flight sim. Again trust must be earned - we look forward to doing that every day. All my very best to all, and thank you so much for the words of encouragement. We need everyone in this great community pulling together to get this done. Eagle

Hi Beaupower32 the team would love any help you can give, and I hope to have you on the OPEVAL team. But I would never ever want to put you in a position which might in any way compromise your position as a crew chief. Eagle

posted a few 3D shots - we should have something flying within DCS very soon. Check back for videos...

Don't know how others have done things, but just as with any Kickstarter program, Founders contributions start at $10.00 and goes up a bit from there depending on rewards or preorder options- Just want us all to be on the same team. There was a time when I had the privilege of leading 102 Motivated Marines. Nothing better than a great group of guys all pulling for the same goal - one passion - one vision. I'm out till the press release on the day we go live - we have a lot of work to do. All will be made clear in the Kickstarter package my friends. In the mean time, all my very best to ALL. Eagle

Thanks to all, really looking forward to getting all of the founders on board. Once the kickstarter is done information on the project will only be available to our founders. We want to work with and for those guys that got a dog in the fight - we will build this together. We also want to get guys onboard with early training documentation, decisions about training and combat missions, number and names of squadrons, and we want to stand up squadrons on our servers. Once this round of funding is over - we are going into our cave, with our founders, and build the finest fighter in the DCS world.

Quick update on the F-35 project. We have moved the start of the Kickstarter back a week to give time for all of the press releases to get out on time. This will also give us time to post some of our 3D images.

Hi again to all. I would to once again make it clear that I have dedicated myself and my company to bringing the joy of military aviation to as many as possible... when the dust settles we still fly together for the joy of it. I was hoping that an announcement of a new module for DCS would bring us all closer together as a community. FYI - I was in VT-10, VT-86, VMFA-531, MAG-11, VFC-13, and HC-9 might have been a couple of military cockpits mixed into that group... not to mention hundreds of hours in both the B-2 and F-22 developmental simulators.

Yes, we are so excited by the opportunity the DCS has given us. We want to, in the future, build Taiwan and the coast of China. We are also looking forward to building a WWII game in the Pacific. F4U & Zero would be our first aircraft. I do believe its smart to build in pairs. Every David needs a Goliath...

Thanks Scorpion for writing. And thank you for keeping an open mind - I believe trust must be earned so I can understand your concern. I'm looking forward to earning yours - this is not just about building a sim, its about doing what we said we would and can do.
-
We have already started with documentation and with our 3D model. The model has not been implemented into the DCS sim yet so I hesitate to show Studio Max shots - not that anybody would yell foul! smile. I'm writing the pilot interface document and system requirements including degraded modes. It's just what I did with the B-2 & F-22. I can tell you that we are very confident on our schedule - based on early development

We are located in sunny Southern California... and thank you for taking the time to write. FYI we will have our own servers on for F-35 guys so we can all learn and fly together. I've will be designing a T-50 for use as an AI aircraft, but the implementation into the "Whole World" is a bit tricky. We are still learning about all of the great applications available in the DCS code so stay tuned.

Good morning, its nice to hear from you all. Couple of things - I understand your concern about multiplayer, with F-35s running around killing everything with magic "see all" "know all" avionics. Truth is the F-22 has better Stealth capabilities - even with weapons tucked away. Hang iron on your wings and your flying an F-18E as far as RS goes. Now it is true that it does bring into play radar information from a lot of sources - if you have them (your wingman, AWACS, other friendly assets, etc.) but they need to be up and engaged. There is some very nice warning information - if the pilot knows how to use it. Bottom line, its gone to be a great addition to our community. Now let me say finally - its OK to be cautious, not like the aircraft, not like changes in the DCS World - although ask yourself - can an A-10 perform its mission in a world of stealth - short answer YES. But please don't think that I've dedicated the future of my company and that of my trusted team on a SCAM... We have built and will continue to build the best quality simulation products in world. DCS gives us a chance to do great things in a combat environment. All my very best to all...

Hi to all, yes this will be a licensed product from Lockheed.

Here is the Kinney Interactive web site - I've tried to detail information on the DCS F-35 project, but questions are always welcomed http://www.kinneyinteractive.com/#!d...tning-ii/c1bom

I put this video on my web site, Kinney Interactive, along with other videos as an example of just some of the information the team has available. Thanks guys for the support

On my site you'll see that I'm a Bio-medical Engineer, and a former USMC Officer. I specialized in treating the human body like a machine and looking at things like redesigning flight helmets with a reduced moment arm giving the pilot or crew more G tolerance. I did have an opportunity to lead the implementation and integration of the F-22 and B-2 avionics. But really it’s about the team, we have a passion bringing you the best simulation possible. We know this is the only F-35 you’re going to get your hands on – we are driven to get it right! As for the B & C – when you see KickStarter you will see the reach goals, but yes we are doing all three. The C will require full carrier operations so we will be building CVN-78. The B will get the America. We are confident, as a team, that you will be flying the Beta in April.
-
And yes, we will need all the luck and support we can get... but as they say - the harder we work, the luckier we get

Great question - I feel best about the aero model. Based on surface area, weight, size and dynamics of the control surfaces, interviews with test pilots and pilots that have flown against the Lightning. Now we won’t be perfect – but we will be very close – AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO MODIFY AND CHANGE WITH NEW INFORMATION. Starting this project I knew there would be classified ranges and operating limits of avionic equipment, but even this I believe can be overcome with crew interface logic that will rival the traveling simulator. But aerodynamics – we get it!!

Hi guys I'm Kinney from Kinney Interactive and I wanted to make myself available for questions... Thanks
