Here's a problem. Clean Install of RUS DCS Online ver. Install RUS DCS Online Patch. The end resulted in a game becoming completely English, except for Tutorials and Missions' Briefings. Also, Betty (in-cockpit warning voices) completely disappeared, even the text is gone. It still rearms, refuels and AI follow my commands, but no voices, AI arent talking back. I'm on Win XP SP2 English, in the USA. The ver. 1.0 worked perfectly. Betty was in Russian, authentic, damn I miss Betty!! Ataka beregis'!! Go figure...

I know how this Activation works, been using it since Flaming Cliffs. I know it has problems. I know I dont have to Deactivate to Install the patch. But to do a Clean Install + Patch, which is what was suggested by the developer, I HAD to Deactivate. Anyway, I fixed the problem on one computer by simply erasing the registry entries for Deactivation/Activation. Now it let me Activate it again, but, of course, at the expense of my last Activation. I will still need another Serial or more Activations, since I want it on both of my computers.

Ok now I tried manual Deactivation via the website: http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/deactivate.php Provided Serial and H/W Code, and guess what..? It gave me a blank Deactivation Code, Blank Field, nothing in it, but says "please write it down" lmao Something is broken on their side, not mine. Still says that I have 8 Deactivations left, even though I know I already "successfully" Deactivated it 5 times.

Yes and yes. The patch is available for both version. I downloaded the correct patch for Rus version also. It did install, but activations got screwed up somehow. Starforce became English and not Russian. I used it to Deactivate the game, and Deactivation was complete it said with 8 Deactivations left. It also said I could now reinstall the game and use my Serial again with it. That's what I did. I completely uninstalled the game. Removed all folders. Installed Rus Online 1.0.0, did NOT launch the game, then applied 1.0.1 Rus Online patch correctly. Now, it says: Unable to launch the application due to integrity fault of the Activation Key. Re-enter a valid Activation Key or re-activate the application. If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support. I sent the Error report to the Support email. This is really annoying, but I can deal with it, like in LockOn, as long as I finally am able to fly. I was supposed to have it installed on two of my computers, so I could host on one and fly on another, but now none of them are functioning...

Accidentally installed 1.0.1 Eng over 1.0 Rus Online Download version. While messing with the game not being able to start, I held Shift and got the Starforce screen in Eng, instead of Rus. And it failed to Deactivate the game. Failed to Activate with my Serial as well. I lost all of my Activations. I emailed support@digitalcombatsimulator.com Please send me a reply with a solution or more activations. I really want to get back to flying the chopper with the new patch now! Thanks!

I know that. But there are old keys with no activations and not the new one that I just paid for. Waiting for a reply from activation@lockon.ru

Image Settings set to Perfomance. I noticed when I change that in Nvidia control panel, Lock On loses quality, sometimes shadows and reflections. Maybe that's why people losing the details. Try setting Image Settings to Quality. The fix worked for me. From 12-15FPS to 25-30FPS on the ground with buildings, reflections, mirrors turned on. 50-60 FPS in the air in multiplayer, when it was 35-45 before. And another thing is that it doesnt seem to slow down after I played for a while, so no need to reload from the briefing each time.

Maybe it's because you have a radeon. Some people I was trying to explain how to do this on teamspeak and they didnt understand. Maybe people dont do it correctly, or something. Because most of those who understood how to do this on teamspeak with me, said that it improved their framerate, and one dude doubled his rate.

I have shadows and everything, it did not remove them. Maybe it removes the shadows for ATI cards, I have Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT.

Find the following line: Renderer = "DXRenderer.dll"; 3. Change the line to: a) For Nvidia GeForce: Renderer = "nv4_disp.dll"; b) For ATI Radeon: Renderer = "ati2dvag.dll"; 4. SEARCH FOR nv4_disp.dll or ati2dvag.dll Usually located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ 5. COPY the file into ..\Lock On\ next to DXRenderer.dll 6.
