Lets see some of those 3DSMAX renderings that he mentioned, then decide on the validity to support the KickStarter program for this specific project. There may be full textures and mesh model and everything and all the tools, but most of it is in the coding/testing and the support of the developer. I do see ED's support being mentioned, so I'm going to change my attitude from highly pessimistic to somewhat hopeful. :) We do need to see some pictures larger than 100x100 pixels. Please, render a couple and show us to keep the dream alive. Thanks. I see my reputation power went from 7 to 0 just for expressing my honest opinion. It's ok. It was 0 and got to 7 for one good post about fixing crashes. They did, however, collect money support and donations through the years of promises and even posted screenshots and videos of aircraft and Area 51.. This is one good example, and a simple Google search will show others. The KickStarter program is what they want people to participate in. However, some donation money or support from the community is not enough in order to develop a full module for DCS in a timely manner, you need real capital and developers, and detailed aircraft and graphical data also, which is mostly classified for F-35. Calling this a scam is a bit harsh and premature, I agree, I might have rushed with my conclusions, or at least the labeling of this project as a hoax. This was based on 20 years of flight sim experience (Remember LHX? How about SOPWITH? :), and I've seen people get excited and then greatly disappointed before. Only time will tell.

I dont mean to sound pessimistic, but I call shenanigans on this. I've seen a dozen "to be released" mods and stand-alone simulators that never had a beta even. And even those had high-res renderings and apparent screenshots and videos on their simple-looking websites. The sole purpose of this DCS F-35 is to bring traffic to Kinney Interactive website and promote their main products - SimPit & Cockpits. There are only a couple of pictures, 100 pixels wide, and even these look like taken from elsewhere, like FSX F-35 and a 3DSMax renderings, not their own. And I spotted multiple misspellings also. There are more reasons for this to never be released, like the jet's avionics, performance data and overall technology still being classified, making it impossible to render a realistic model in DCS. If you want to fly F-35, load HAWX2 or FSX, but please dont fall for this and bring your hopes up too high. Sorry, but I'm certain that this is not going to be released. It will do its job to get more traffic however. To be fair, their cockpit products do look good, but the DCS F-35 is a SCAM!

RUN REPAIR DCS WORLD from the START ALL PROGRAMS MENU. If the program is complete and these fixes are done, try to make it crash! Please report here if helped or not.

Hehe, I titled it originally as Fix for 90% of Crashes, but I havent had a single crash, so for me, it's for all crashes, thus far. :)

It does not work for DCS.exe DEP off, try it. Did not work for me, it said error, has to be enabled for DCS.exe Have to disable for all.

I have done some research and have figured out how to STOP ALL MY DCS CRASHES! All of you having problems are in luck! Those DCS stopped responding or has caused an error and needs to close! Sometimes it crashes constantly when refreshing multiplayer servers. Needs a reboot, and even then still doesnt work consistently. Other times when just joined a server and choosing an aircraft, and crash! Or fly for an hour and crash! :( So, here are the 2 main fixes! Enjoy! No More Crashes! This will also speed it up! And other games too! :) First fix for 32-bit only, let the program use more RAM: For Win Vista/7 simply Copy/Paste or Type Exactly into CMD: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072 And Reboot. For Windows XP 32-bit, use these instructions: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/faq/Win32 Second fix, has to do with DEP, just dont worry what it does, it's magic! :) Copy/Paste or Type Exactly into CMD: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff Reboot. This turns off DEP for all programs and lets DCS freely use your system, so to say, it's awesome and it works! To REVERT IT and STOP the fix, type this and reboot bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx OptIn Not a single crash since I did this myself on Win7 32. I just cant use my MS SideWinder Precision Pro with USB and only Gameport and only in 32bit and these commands have saved me! NO MORE CRASHES! Let me know if this worked for you or not. My email is simply LOCKON@USA.COM I have been flying these since the Flanker series. None of the emails are blocked, so I dont understand.
