A massive thank you to GOZR for your eeeeexcelent graphics config tweak which i just downloaded,I'm now running at a higher res(oh so pretty) but at a muuuuch smoother frame rate :punk: Im not sure what crazy ass pixy dust ya put in there but now lock-on has become a game I'v always wanted to play more but could never get it looking and running like what i really wanted into a game i think I'm about to throw myself into with a big smile ass on my face:smartass: Thanks for your hard work GOZR ~S~ p.s. your FSX tweaks are awsome too,cheers

hey guys, Im just re-installing lock-on FC after getting the itch for a change from IL-2 (and for a bit more speed :pilotfly:)and i was looking through lock-on files and a few other sites and it looks like a lot of mods only work with 1.1 So is it worth installing the 1.2b patch?? or is it better to just leave it at 1.1 ,plus how will this effect online play as i do want to get online with this. Any help and advice would really be appreciated. cheers - Skarden

cool,thanks guys for the reponse, was just hopin it was a possibility.:D hey blaze is it possible to still use the mini stick on the x-52 to rotate the external camera if you have trackir runnin? it woudnt be as easy but still a lot better then the keypad. cheers skarden

Well as the title suggest's I 'm just wondering if it's possible to use trackir to rotate the camera in the external view,rather then using the keypad keys which is a hassle as i have to move it out of the way for my X-52. this would make perving on my plane a lot easier:smilewink: Cheers Skarden

LOL it looks like this forum is as ah...........colourfull as the IL-2 forum eeeexcelent:holiday: .I'll be ordering this next week and will check out all the prices i can find,but i have found in the past that sometimes it is worth paying a bit more money for after sales service and then again sometimes not it all depends on the situation.once again a huge thanks to all that posted to help me out(to ice and cobra especially cheers).and to hyperdallas pull your head out of your a$$!,where else should i go to find where out where to get the add on other then the forum for the guess what........THE ADD-ON!!!!! crazy logic eh:doh: . p.s. i tried to register on the 3 sqn forums but i havnt recieved my email to activate the acount,could any of you guys help me out there?

hey all,I'v finally sat down and done the training missions after not really touching the game since I install it and discovered that i really love this game after havin it for almost a year and not playin it:doh: but of coarse i really want to go online now as when i was gettin into IL-2(great game by the way!) it was when i made the most improvments(had too!)so i thought i would get the add on flaming cliffs and get online but god dammit if i can find it in australia from pretty much anywhere, i know i can get it oversea's but im tryin to avoid that as iv had a bad experience with that before and I dont want to have to wait 3 -4 weeks for it to arrive unless i have too.I even thought about gettin it through some ah......not so official means but just couldnt bring myself to do it as this genre is such a niche market the developer's of these games very clarly deserve my cash to keep up the good work. So if there are any aussies out there(or anyone really) who know of any good australian site i can get it from i would be super appreciative. Hopefully see you up there soon. cheers
