  1. I get this error msg when i click save as quick mission

could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files\lock oc - flaming cliffs\lockon.bat\Missions\quick start\a-10a.mis'

this obviously isnt a valid file path because lockon.bat isnt a directory and cant have anything below it.

is this a known bug and is it this that is stopping my pilot from being saved?

    thanks jib

  2. I can't get F7 (vechile view) to work

it used to work and now it doesn't

I definitely have it on in options for all game types and I have check the mission setting to

I can use F2 to see other aircraft but F7 to see not vechiles

the F7 view is very helpful when building missions. I miss having it

has anyone else had this problem?

  3. I seem to have fixed my Wingman Force 3D quite alot (by doing 5 minutes solid calibration, weird)

and I was just thinking even before 531-Ghost posted that I might as well save up a few mounths for a CH CombatStick (becasue I can't be doing with more unreliable hardware) then a few more mouths for a CH Pro Throttle :)

In the mean time I really want to get a Track IR!! I have always wanted one!

Im so happy because I just managed to get my first kill with a Vikhr missle now i have fixed my stick!! :)

  4. My second hand Logithech WingMan Force 3D stick has been getting worse for ages, now the z (twist axis) is unusable. For black shark (doesn’t calibrate well)

I can’t afford a Saitek x52 at the moment on the account of being a poor student.

These are the sticks I’m considering I just can't decide which one to buy (if any)!

    Logitech Extreme 3D Pro

I Like the Look of this stick but the throttle looks small and plasticy

    Saitek Cyborg X

Looks like terminator! is more adjustable

    Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X

It is quite big. but looks rugged probably my preferred choice at the moment.

    If force feedback that necessary?

    Logitech force 3D Pro

This isn’t much more expensive than the none force feedback model but is it better than the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X

    I can’t decide!!!

    Any help would be great.

    Jib.

  5. I finally just found XP drivers for my IR head movement tracker, after it sat in the attic for years. It works great in LOMAC, really useful in dogfights but it takes up the game-port that I was using for my joystick.

I have decided to by a new usb joystick (but I’m a poor student strapped for cash (£40 maximum)).

I was think of getting this:

Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro

Or if people can Persuade me to how good force feedback is I might get this one for £39.99.

    Guilemot Thrustmaster FFB

Looks like a good buy, has anyone used it?

I’m open to any other suggestions or recommendations.

EDIT: ow I have just seen this one

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00006AMA2/026-90277...66?v=glance&n=300703

do u think it is better or worse than the Thrustmaster?

Some People say Saitek are a good mid range joystick, but I think they look strange and uncomfortable.
