  1. Some questions for Luthier and his team, so that we can dig out some info. Main question: which type of Me 262 are you planning to integrate? - Me 262 A-1a - Me 262 A-1b (early: Revi 16B and 2x12 R4M rockets; late: EZ 42 (January 1945: 150 A/C)) - Me 262 A-2a (Fighter/Bomber; Juli 1944) Note: I've left the A-1a subtypes U1 to U5 out for now. Engine question: which Jumo 004 type do you plan to integrate? - 004 B-1 (production until end of 1944) - 004 B-4 (like B-1, but aircooled turbine blades) - 004 D-1 (930kp thrust, like B-4 with improved control system, improved air intake and compressor) - 004 D-4 (1000kp thrust, like D-1 with intensive cooled turbine grit, small series at the end of the war)

  2. Interesting is the date (May 1945) on the pages for the AN/ARA-8. see: http://de.scribd.com/doc/39145899/WWII-Radar-Comm-Equipment A little bit late for europe.
  3. It's not so much the problem that the glass frame is there (as shown in the model). The main problem is that we don't have the optical distortion, which reduces the visibility of the frame. This can be either solved by changing the 3d model or add the optical distortion for armored glass to the render engine. The question is which will be used...
  4. I have ordered the plans for the FW 190 from http://www.fighter-plane-blueprints-plans.co.uk/Sales-List-Inventory-Aircraft.php When they arive I will have a closer look...:book:
  5. Sorry, you are right. It's the angle between the revi sight line and the engine cowling.:music_whistling:
  6. see #29 angle 5°35'0"
  7. Let's hope failures don't get repeated..
  8. FW 190 D-9 2nd last picture. FW 190 A-8 FW 190 A-5, Cockpit FW 190 A-3 Revi height
  9. The bar is oversized...:music_whistling:
  10. Maybe the devs should look at this post: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpost.php?p=45807&postcount=4
  11. OK, I've searched through the parts catalog of the P-51 from March 1945. The rear warning system AN/APS-13 was introduced by the P-51D at the parts code: FF-H; MB-Q P-51D-20-NA (FF 44-72127 thru 72226) and onwards at the NA-plant, P-51K-10-NT (MB 44-12153 thru 12352) and P-51D-25,30,35-NT (Q 44-84390 thru 84989; 45-11343 thru 12742) The double antenna on the fuselage I haven't found in the parts catalog, so it must be introduced to a later date.
  12. Their're restoring a FW 190 D-9 at Hangar 10 http://www.google.de/imgres?start=241&client=firefox-a&hs=RIw&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:de:official&biw=1188&bih=1037&tbm=isch&tbnid=TE4FlG0m1vXzCM:&imgrefurl=http://www.hobby-luftfahrt.de/cont/mus/museum_hdf.htm&docid=kQlyCBeCDen4aM&imgurl=http://www.hobby-luftfahrt.de/pic/mus/hdf/fw190_d9_02b-hdf-2012-07-08.jpg&w=380&h=253&ei=fm9EUprPH8SBtAanz4GQBA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=210&vpy=246&dur=3950&hovh=183&hovw=275&tx=171&ty=94&page=8&tbnh=132&tbnw=178&ndsp=34&ved=1t:429,r:71,s:200,i:217
  13. Just some questions for historical correctness. 1. Will we see outdoor mirror/s on the P-51D instead of the modern indoor mirror? 2. Which exactly block model is the P-51D ingame? From what I can see it should be something from block 25 onwards. 3. At which block and when were the double antenna (at the fuselage) and the rear warning system (antenna at the vertical rudder?) introduced?
  14. A little Jumo 213 history: The Jumo 213A engine pre series came 1942 and was brought out in high production at August 1944 with 1750 PS (1285 KW) with a full pressure height of 5,4 km. Production stopped at the end of 1944. Fuel 87 oct. At September 1944 the production of the Jumo 213C began and ended also at the end of 1944. It's similar to the 213A, but with a tunnel for the engine mounted gun and therefor changed propeller pitch device. The production of the 213E with 1750 PS at sea-level (95 oct fuel, 9,8km full pressue height; 2-stage 3-gear-blower, blower air cooler with engine cooling device) was at the end 1944. The 1900 PS Jumo 213 (as mentioned above) is a Jumo 213EB. Production begin was early 1945. The 213EB is a power increased Jumo 213 E . The Jumo 213F was like the E, but without outer blower-air-cooling, therefor inner air cooling through MW-injection. At sea-level 2120 PS (1560 KW). Serial production in preparation. The Jumo 213J is an up to 37,36 L increased and modified engine (3700 RPM, 4 valves, higher compression, increased blower, better blower-air-cooling) which were at the end of the war (in europe) construction wise nearly completed and first test engines running.
  15. Jumo 213 A with 1770 PS against Jumo 213 J with 2250 PS Left: PS; Below: height in km; Right: specific fuel consumption From: Junkers Flugtriebwerke; Reinhard Müller; Aviativ Verlag
  16. Just for info the MG 151/20 is a 20 mm cannon. The normal MG 151 (15,1 mm) cannon wasn't favored anymore at that time. Edit: As I look at the length of the K-4. It should be 9,020m (increased side rudder = serial production)
  17. The 109 K-4 can also carry a MG 151/20 instead of the MK 108. Standard engine for the K-4 was the DB 605 DM, but can also have as engine DB 605 D-1, DBM, DCM and DB 605 AS fitted. Edit: Spitefire Mk.IX wingspan: 11,22 m Bf 109 K-4 wing span: 9,924 m
  18. You should also read the 2nd update. As I understand it, when I have pledges 100$ before rewritting the pledges, I now get both rewards (the original + the new combined).
