Hi, Maybe one of you can help me out. I have DCS P-51 installed on Steam and recently bought Combined Arms. However, I am having a difficult time installing it. Here's what is happening when I try to install from the download: As you can see I have the correct version #, but it won't install. And I'm puzzled by the "New Folder" thing. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

I am having an honest to goodness senior moment (being 72 and having a stroke last year) but I think I deleted it. However, another mission that behaves almost the same way but has different starts, e.g. sometimes with hangar door closed, sometimes open and airplane is vaulted out then engine dies, etc I got from http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116 I just used the .miz file downloaded in the thread; didn't mess with anything else. Maybe my installation is unstable; I just don't know. Its a learning process for sure.

Another newbie question. I have downloaded some missions but there are some that puzzles me. The mission starts in a closed-door hangar with a blinking "pause button". When I click on the pause button I am launched out of the hangar with engine running full throttle. You can guess what happens next as I quickly work my throttle back and forth while trying to gently hit my brakes. I work my stick controls while in the hangar so the throttle is set back and should be at idle when the doors open. I've tried putting on the parking brake before hitting the pause button but no controls work. This is what I'm presented with: Any ideas ? Or is this mission just defective. Thanks

Oesau, You're right ! That's what my stick was first set up for (LCtrl-F10 "Jump to theater mao view over current point). When I changed it pure F10 (Theater map view) it works as I want. Thanks :thumbup:

I've searched the forums and found nothing so I post now of a problem I'm having with the F-10 map flying the P-51. When I click on F-10 I get my white "F" icon racing across the screen. Then I take my hand off the stick and zoom out But when I click on F-10 again, its zoomed out and racing across the screen Is there any way I can keep it zoomed out so I can see the big picture or is this normal behavior ? Thanks for any suggestions you have.

This is what I downloaded And using WinRar to extract the zip files this is what I get in the folder There just ain't no .miz in there. As you can see I show file extensions. Puzzled fer sure.

Hi Milli and thanks for responding. This is what I downloaded. I renamed to mission file to misson.miz but I got a connection interruption. Notice that the download is v2 I also have his Tbilisi v2 which has the same components. Boy, this new stuff is confusing but I'll get the hang of it yet. Just to make sure, when I start a MP server I have to choose a .miz file right ? Freelansir

Hi Shahdoh, I've downloaded this mission from the DCS home page "Users file" but have no idea of how to make it work as there is no .miz file. I am obviously new to DCS and running as fast as I can to learn. Thanks for any help, it will be appreciated. Freelansir

Thank you Ramsay for the explanation. Yes, I left automatic updates on. Yes, I am at Version 1.2.6 18933. But what fixes were made by the update ? In my SteamApps/common/DCSWorld/Doc is a DCS World Changelog showing changes up to Version 1.2.4. Again, thanks for helping me !

I am also new and my DCS P-51 is installed in both my Steam and Saved Games folders. The above suggestions do not work for me. I get the following but don't know how to find the auto updater and Module Manager. The "link" takes me to DCS World that doesn't have a download button. I've done searches and opened every folder associated with DCS but can't find those things. Any help would be appeciated. Thanks

Being new to DCS P-51 I am happy to see this feature included. However, has anybody actually have it warn you of somebody behind you ? Being brand new to the DCS P-51 I am amazed and do not show body with arms, legs, and kneeboard shown in this video. Do I need a patch or something ? I am running it on Steam. Thanks Freelansir
