I just purchased the viper module and am having some problems. I can't get the target designator (or cursor.) to move.:helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

I tried the the keyboard commands but engines will not start. I can start the APU (Rshift+L). But the engines won't start. Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

I am new to DCS and would like to know more about FPS (Frames per second.) My question is..What's the slowest acceptable speed to run DCS ?? I've heard 60, 40, and every where in between. What's the best???

I've been flying PC sims since 1990. I have flown just about every PC sim out there. Falcon 3.0 and 4.0, the Jane's collection, the original Flanker 2.0. But this is insane. Heatblur went all out and pulled it off. The product isn't perfect but it will be with time, they have the talent. You have one hell of a team Heatblur. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Is it normal for the cockpit to shake ?? Not as smooth as other fighter aircraft.

Just bought this stick and throttle combo and I need a little help with the values I should enter. I know it's a matter of preference but all I need is a starting point from any of you, then I can tweak it to my liking. The default settings are not realistic. I am not a veteran but I've been flying PC sims since Falcon 3.0 (Spectrum Holobyte) My problem is not landing but keeping the darn bird on the runway after touch down. I currently use the "Twist" motion on joystick as rudders, but I have no problems at all with the other aircrafts. Any tips or advice is app. Enjoy your Holiday season.

Just purchased the Harrier and I'm kinda stuck when it comes to waypoints. How do I chose the next waypoint?, I noticed it doesn't happen automatically like with the Hornet. Clicking on the left MFD is a hassle since the button is hidden. Can anyone help? Is there a key I can press to chose my next waypoint? Thank you in advance.

I am a new guy trying to set up my joystick and throttle system (Thrustmaster stick and throttle.) But I am not familiar with the terms "Dead zone" and the others. Right now I have everything on default settings but I don't like the way it feels. I just need a starting point and I can tweak it from there. I just need the values that will give me a realistic feel. Thank you so much in advance.

This might be the wrong place to post this but here goes. I have noticed that the carrier based version of the F-35 has no HUD, or are they all like this? Do they pop up? Was it integrated in the helmet? I just noticed this recently. I can't find any pictures of the F-35 cockpit, any comments??

Same here. Not only that, I can't raise my landing gear, the escape key doesn't work, none of the keys work. I can take off but that's about it. I have to re-boot my system to get out cause the escape key doesn't work either

I am thinking about purchasing one of those cool VR headsets. However, I wear glasses and I don't want to spend $500.00 on something I can't use. Will I still be able to use them?? Thank you.

Whenever I fly the F-15 I have to re boot my PC. I can take off, that's about it. All other keys do not work, including the escape key. All other aircraft works fine. It's just the F-15.

Bought a new rig (Dell tower.) all works fine but I can't seem to get the "Pause Break" key to work. I can't unpause the simulation and I can't get the FPS counter to work. :cry: Any ideas??

I have tried everything, as far as I can tell I have the right settings on the hornet. Selected A/A, Master switch on, radar on, still can't shoot anything. Tried other aircrafts and all works well, my hornet doesn't want to fight. So frustrated.:(

Flying the hornet, I've had many flashing "SHOOT" on my hud and still when I shoot nothing happens. I know I'm overlooking something but I need your help trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have the Thrustmaster stick and throttle system. Thank you so much in advance for your help.

I have a question regarding the F-15 Eagle. I have noticed that the air intakes on some models are not the same. Some face slightly downwards about 10 degree and other models are straight, facing forward. Is there a reason for this??

Guys, have a bit of a problem here. I would really appreciate if you could send me in the right direction. Just purchased the Huey module, but I'm struggling with take offs and hovering. I purchased the KA-50 module a while back and feel pretty good about my pilots skills with a helicopter, still, I have much to learn. My problem with the Huey is that during take off when I move my throttle slowly forward the Huey is suppose to slowly leave the ground (Which is normally what happens when I fly KA-50). With the Huey it doesn't happen, when I apply throttle the helicopter slides violently towards the right instead of straight up. I have both helicopter sims configured the same way with my joystick system (ThrustMaster- Joystick with separate throttle.) I've tried calibration but still no improvement. Any ideas ??
