  1. Used PeterP's hotfix.. and it overwrote it for some reason, so using the hotfix again!
  2. Bug reintroduced in latest patch *sigh*
  3. It could be an awesome online weapon, to freeze opponents with sub-par computers. 3 MI-8's all firing at once.. and the enemy dives into the ground from lag :smilewink:
  4. Just hold right ctrl+right shift and press 1 2 and 3 for weapons to be available. And press the autopilot button. It takes 5 seconds.. For the lights flip down the switches on ..hmm the right 'window panel' The long row.. it's enough with just the first ones, try and look at external to see when the lights are off
  5. The Huey is a classic and a 'must have' if you like choppers! It don't take out battalions of tanks from a standoff range, (or at all for that matter) but it (as the MI-8) is a joy to fly! Buy them if the price is still right!
  6. I love the options :megalol: 'Never ! What am I a PS3 user?' Actually that was my choice
  7. The 7.62 mm are 10 times worse then the 12.7 mm on my computer. Try to fire all the shots in one go when parked!
  8. it's like when you fire every rocket you have on the A10 C and emptying the gun at the same point x2. Even standing parked and emptying the ammo into nothing, it almost freezes the sim. The Huey don't really lag it down a lot when going berserk on the gatlings. It seems there are more tracers on the Mi-8? And/or they act differently when fired (I know it's an early beta) Just wanted to report it, and see if others have the same problem on their decent rigs? Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor 3.4GHz GeForce GTX 460 1 gig mem 8 gig ram Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 1680 x 1050 res
  9. Without the discount, i wouldn't have bought it, and noticed how fun it is to fly! So you can add one happy owner to the 'bought it out of curiosity' crowd. I felt raped when i bought the Huey at full price, and it got a discount just a month after, but I added in one month of 'happy time' into it, and it felt just fair!
  10. Thanks all! the PeterP hotfix worked! I always rampstarted it, so I didn't know that it worked from the start, only to stop working while switching places :music_whistling:
  11. Found the bug (in my case) When you go to position 3 (flight-engineer, as I do during startup (or copilot)) you can't go back to position 1 and lean right and have the sight working as it should, can someone confirm this? Or disprove me? LAST EDIT-> Found it in the bugs section.. and the solution were there too Doh!
  12. went back in the the game after pausing it to write the above apology, and now it gets stuck, when alt tabbing back, and leaning right again!?!?
  13. Just tried it out again now.. and now it works.. must be some button I forgotten to flip yesterday,( all of the day) or a strange temporary bug (less likely)
  14. I know it was a bit messy explanation i made.. but in short: Move head to left and sight starts disappearing to the left. Move head to right and it stays in the middle, even when passed it's aim= shots go to the left . A lot if you are leaning to the right too much, so you have to be a little to the left to have it floating, to be sure you are aiming correctly. The sight should float out the other side too, so you know it's really lined up
  15. As a pilot you have to be able to move head a little more to the right, with the sight going sideways, else you have to be totally sure that the sight is in place or make sure the sight is 'floating' to the left. I were almost going insane from trying to hit something as the missiles/guns went far to the left. Now I have to do offcenter shooting, don't the sight move to the right side too in the real heli? EDIT-> Never mind, must've been a Track-Ir hiccup all day yesterday, from alt tabbing EDIT2-> Found the bug (in my case) I'll post it in lower post!
