I was gonna throw in 'TEAM KING OF THE HILL' but it is multiplayer pvp only - still posting it below (Attached Files) if you guys are looking for some dogfight sorties. If I won a key, I'd love to go for a NTTR key which I could use for my second PC (with i7 2600K, ASUS Strix 980, 32 GB RAM and SSD) to set it up as a public dedicated server with COOP and PVP missions. Thanx to everyone contributing to the community. TEAM KING OF THE HILL.miz
  4. It's a bug and already reported. Solution is to CLOSE YOUR CANOPY.
  5. Hi, thanks for providing a multiplayer mission scenario. I now played it for a few times and it is fun. One thing I noticed is that the last group of tanks (Bradleys?) get stuck at some waypoint just south of Yucca Pass. Maybe you want to check on this. Actually we added some more planes like M-2000C (for buddy lasing with the A-10), Su-25 (/T) and also Hueys and Ka-50s. If you want to try it out we have the -=BFU=- Game Server Dedicated running the mission right now this saturday night. We plan to repeat it in the future but currently we are not really happy with the alpha and prefer flying the stable. So hang in there and wait for NTTR being more promoted again. Regards, CB
  6. [ame] [/ame] A little bit of multiplayer coop action captured from one of the -=BFU=- servers.
  7. Hi BIGNEWY, I really appreciate what you are doing here!! A lot of respect from my side. Just like you helped zerO_crash today - and it is a sunday. (I was in TS with him thats why I kown, not stalking you.) No offence, but once in a while some guessing works. Check out the last time I was "guessing": http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=131752
  8. I don't have an answer but a question to you guys. Do you "export" your sound via HDMI? Greetz
Good luck!
  10. @Quax: Sehr gespannt, Link bitte prüfen, funktioniert nicht. Grüße
  11. Hello guys, I need to inform you that there will be no further public mission updates for this mission at the moment. The development is currently paused. However we stiill check compatiblity with the current DCS versions and fly the adapted versions on 2 servers: -=BFU=- Game Server Dedicated and QUAX's DCS WORLD. Feel free to catch a pilot seat there. I intend to continue the development of this mission when DCS World 2.0 ist released. Meanwhile there are enough other mission projects keeping me busy such as the -=BFU=- training missions: The Batumi Conference and Operation Valley Sweep Out. The newest project which is intended for public release is named Operation Pitchfork which is also a coop mission. It is currently in alpha-state but early access is granted, Any feedback is welcome.
  12. A serious F-15C training flight turns into a crazy low-level chase in the canyons!
  13. Okay lipy, since DCS 1.2.10 update 3 did not bring any change, I decided to take one more look before dumping the whole thing. What I found out is not satisfying at all... however it now runs. I suppose you have a FARP placed in your mission. If yes, DELETE IT! No further questions, just find a way to work around it. Try client takeoff again. Good luck mate!
  14. Maybe a moderator knows what the official ED statement is regarding the DCS 129 mission editor??
  15. Actually I have the same problem (DCS stops working directly after client takeoff) with a mission created with 129 and 1210 then. It is a very simple mission without any scripts or mist and only a hand full of triggers. When I decided to review earlier mission files to find out at what point the whole thing got corrupt, I could not believe it! Even the most basic versions fail (even without triggers at all). The only thing I changed for testing was that I placed my client aircraft (F-15C or A-10C doesn't matter) directly on the runway. I start asking myself if it might be a fatal programming mistake in missions with got originally created with the DCS 129 mission editor version?! Which version did you use when creating this mission? Can anybody help? Or can anybody please tell what is specifically important about saving mulitplayer missions in DCS 1210 editor?
  16. How much memory does the Server have? I have to say that I noticed that after about one hour the 8 GB RAM barrier is passed. I recommend 12 -16 GB RAM for this mission! This afternoon I was playing online together with 5-8 people until I quit after about 5 hours of flying. I checked the server-list 20 minutes ago and made a screenshot. Just looked again and those guys are still on. Dunno about JTAC, it defenitively used to work! Maybe you can check once more and confirm your observation again. Maybe it was just some kind of glitch?! However, even though there are 2 other projects right now (and it is summer!!) mission development is still beeing continued. I am thankful for bug-reports and new ideas. Greetz
  17. Mastiff, concerning the incident at the hospital, there is a simple answer: They were hiding from you at that point! :smilewink: Actually this is to prevent A-10 pilots from bombing the landing zones with CBU-97s and getting 40 kills at the hospital on one fence in. You need more action going on at the other hot spots (tip: especially Green railroad station), so that the last insurgents at the hospital are forced to leave the building so to speak. Reaper controllable? Speaking in terms of complete Comined Arms control it's a no. But A-10 pilots can coordinate their strikes with them. A-10 A slots... well, didn't have that request yet. In fact Ver. 1.1 was delayed because of last minute changes. I suddenly received more requests for KA-50s being stationed closer, so 2 more were added and stationed closer and the original two got some more entertainment on the way when flying directly to Tskhinvali. We have the saying: All roads lead to Rome! Meaning there isn't just one way of doing it. You are well advised not do try it on your own but there are several combinations you can be successful. It is also possible to switch aircrafts dependig on the development. I can remember two "walkthroughs" I had with my friends in just about 6 hours each. The first time we were 5 pilots: starting with 2x UH-1, 1x Mi-8, 1x Ka-50, 1x A-10C and switching to 1x Mi-8, 2x Ka-50, 2x A-10C. The second time we were 5 pilots as well: 3x A-10C and 2x F-15. We also already were successful with only 3 players, it simply took way longer and it was way closer and more challenging. The F-15 is implemented in a way that the battlefield only gets expanded if pilots really participate and go into orbit at WP1. I guess one can say that taking things serious (like at squad training) shortens mission time up to 50% compared with public flights where people come and go. You know what one single A-10 with the right pilot in it can do!
  18. The new version is available for download now. File Name: OPERATION_SILK_STREET_(EXTENDED)_Ver._1.1.miz Date created: 14.07.2014 22:17:33 Size: 1.78 Mb Posts #1 and #2 updated.
  19. Today I present to you some first impressions of the new Release Version 1.1. We have been playing the mission for about 2 weeks now just to make sure that the final download-version did not become corrupt at any point. It all seems to work out just fine so that the new release is ready to go now. I am happy to finally announce the upload to be scheduled for this weekend. Ingame pics from PHASE I: Ingame pics from PHASE 2: Maybe there will be one or two servers up running this mission prior official release. Don't just feel teased! Simply join the action!
  20. Hello Classydjo, thanks for your interest. If no Mi-8s are present, the establishment of FARP Paris (at the hospital in Tskhinvali) simply takes a lot longer since the equipment has to be transported by our ground troops. As long as there is no operating FARP in Tskhinvali choppers (like Ka-50s) always have to fly back to Gori to rearm or repair. Achieving the goal of operating FARP Paris as quick as possible brings a decisive advantage in fighting the enemy forces coming out of the canyon. Actually in OPERATION SILK STREET Version 1.1 Release this will also be possible for Hueys via cargo transport (sling loads) and troops insertion. Greetz
