  1. Rgr Maximus, Our FW CO will be dishing out the access privilages as soon as he sees people registered. If you want to make double sure I would suggest you PM him on our forum in case he misses anyone by mistake. *159th_Invicta* S!
  2. A valid point Goya. I have to say, from what I'm continuing to read, the community is severely risking Fudd pulling the plug on this series of events. He puts in a lot of hard work (at times to the detriment to his REAL LIFE job). Please support this RF as best you can, please stop arguing about things that are, quite frankly, pointless to argue about. How can Fudd support the community if you do not support him.........
  3. oooooooooh well said that man!! :matrix:
  4. Lovely stuff, thanks for more great work Teka :) Rep inbound.
  5. That does look pretty nice IMO, very impressed. Hopefully having more power, the PS3 version will be better :D
  6. That would be one of those = Yes please moments:thumbup:
  7. Indeed so Frostie, trying to integrate a lonewolf into your sqd for one flight is not easy to do and I agree that 'babysitting' them is not easy either when you have enough on your plate already. I fboth saide have equal numbers of LW's then there is no excessive disadvantage to either side. However, to exclude them just because of that is unfair, I feel, to them as it's not their fault. Some people may prefer not to fly in a sqn but want to take part in RF. Why should we deny them just because they're not in a sqn? Anyway, I digress. What I'm getting at here is this: Constructive criticism = Yes please. Suggestions = Yes please. Random Ideas = Yes please. Offers of help = Yes please. Flaming wars = No thank you. B1tch fights = No thank you. Slagging off the people doing the hard work for your enjoyment = No thank you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and rightly so. But perhaps show it in a more mature way so as to help further the community spirit that is growing as a result of RF. (This is aimed at everyone btw).
  8. Gentlemen please, put your handbags away. This is a community exercise, which means it is for the whole community. I sat in on one of the checkrides Fudd is doing with any lone wolfs to make sure they can cope with RF missions. Sadly this particular chap did quite make the grade, but has been given a good debrief from Fudd with things to work so he can re-apply for RF3. My point being that Fudd is not just letting anyone participate, they do need to have enough knowledge, skill and experience to take part. Please try and bear that in mind while you flame each other and (indirectly) Fudd. He's doing this off his own back, willingly, in his spare time. And as we have said already, the first few RF missions will not be perfect, they are a learning experience for Fudd as well as us.
  9. God damn youtube, there goes another hour out of my life..... Ok well maybe not an hour, but too long....!
  10. ROFL excellent!!
  11. Having them spread evenly is a must I agree X-man. Tag them along with a sqn and hope for the best. Fudd is doing checkrides with them all so they should all be capable pilots able to cope with the things needed to take part in the mission. I agree comms and SOP's will be new to some of them, but if both sides are in the same position then it's fair to both. To exclude them just for not being in a sqn is wrong and unfair IMHO.
  12. I guess that will depend solely on who's servers are available for us to use? Perhaps, like RF1, we could have a show of hands as to who has a server and is willing to let us use it for RF2? Perhaps giving their physical location would also be handy to know??
  13. I think I can safely say the 159th are well and truly 'in' for the next mission and all the rest for that matter.....
  14. No you wont, you'll do what you're told!! :smilewink::lol: jk.
  15. I'll get him good and proper next time :megalol:. Nah, was a good kill, I had a muppet attack as I was closing on Calli and couldn't get him locked up on radar, switched to vert-scan just in time to get an R73 away, at which point I noticed the in-coming 27T, too late to do anything about it. *D'oh!*
  16. Congrats to all of flew, even if it was for a short time. It was amazing seeing so many AC on the flight line, truly awesome. Well done Bluefor, I think you got the edge towards the end and beat us back. But, it's all good training and I'm sure a lot was learned on both sides to make these exercises even better in the near future. Well done redfor, a great effort, good comms I feel. Next mission should see an improvement and a refinement in tactics and missions success. Huge salute to Fudd, well done mate, you're a star :)
  17. Edit: Fudd it the post button just before I did....!
  18. At least if we make it look like we're gunna play fair, then we can run round and stab them in the back with R73 :D
  19. And please ensure it's constructive criticism at that gents. The first mission may well go horribly wrong for all we know, I'm sure it wont of course, but the possibility is still there. So we'll need constructive input to improve the setup, so that the missions keep getting better and better. Flaming will only result in no Red Flag exercise at all, which is not what we want ;) .
  20. Couldn't have put it better, thank you Cali for the vote of confidence, it's much appreciated.:) As Fudd has said, the first one will be simple. As a way of testing what things do and don't work, from there things will be adjusted to make the next one better, so on and so forth...... The primary goal is to make it fun and serious at the same time (not an easy task). After all, this is a game that we want to enjoy playing. At the same time this is a learning experience, it will help us all fly better, fight better, plan better, work together better and most importantly, help the various sqns that play LO interact more, make new friends, alliances and partners. Thus helping to improve the LO experience as a whole.
  21. Good stuff gents, I hope you're getting suitably excited like I am!! Fudd is working very hard behind the scenes on this he certainly has our appreciation for his efforts.
  22. Well ED have been very busy with other things as well, which are far more lucrative than Lockon, so I'm very grateful that they're even bothering to still support Lockon at all.........
