    Theoretically you could even track destoyed world objects (like bridges, buildings, runways) and then blow them up again at the start of the next mission to simulate a certain level of persistence.

     

    Do you have such plans to make it so? It'd be great feature no doubt!:)

    LED method is old and not effective. You have to put much work to get good results.

     

    This sentence:

    filing the lens tips down flat
    means you must file down bulb almost to the this metal thin rod. Get a nail file from your woman and do it by this way :)

     

    I'd recommend you get flash stripes. It is much better because you don't care about angle of view. You only need IR camera - camera with in-built IR leds, which will light your cap on your head.

    I have such construction:

    As you see I don't have solid frame. I can move my strips to the better positions on the cap. No power source, no wires, no metal frame on my head :)

     

    When you make stripes round - you cam make them visible at angle of 270 - you gain freely look and comfort.

    I remember Flanker too, I'd like team picture in front of CRT monitors and school wall writing table :)

     

    This game was my dream when I had read review of it. So fresh, so new :)

    You guys want ED to do something about it and soon and by "soon" I don't mean standard "2 weeks"?

     

    I suggest EVERYONE simply stops hosting and playing FC2 MP... when ED sees no one plays their sim any more they should wake up... I hope... I've stopped flying FC2 for few months already and don't have any more interest in its bugs and now this hack attacks just put a knife deeper.

     

    I think it's time ED starts listening to their fans and not wait for who knows how long to release FC3 in order to address this... this really needs a hotfix / patch and I mean ASAP. If they know how they can stop this then they better get off their ass and do the right thing with their supporters and fans... waiting months doesn't do them or us any good... just my 2c

     

    Exactly. The ball is at producer side and it is in its business to get it fixed soon as possible.

     

    And what about if the problem is in us, or those who run servers and kicking for nothing or some small mistake, maybe some server was pissed of a wrong dude and he now

     

    That his problem, not everyone on the server, especially not admin.

    We don't need mentally ill persons.

     

    I am not saying this is okay what he/they are doing but i think those admins needs to think about it when FC 3 bean relesed so this kinda stuff want happen again.
    No, admin doesn't need to think about anything like that ;]

     

    The wars in history was started cos of stupid reason, maybe this is one the same, just think about it for the future, i got nothing against the server rules, but maybe some of them are not playble.
    That is the problem of joined people. Some rules can be stupid, like TS presence so if I don't like it I don't enter.

    You have right to not liking such settings. If so, don't enter :)

     

    maybe hacker don`t like it either, but he was trying to say that and nobody was listen, maybe game need to be set up in the way that it looks like a game and not real hunter jet plane.

    P.S.Or maybe someone is trying to kill this sim to live another sim, why guy doing this, what he is doing???

    I am not sure but if my memory doesn't fails me there are packets filters available (either via own scripted rules or already made). I don't recall details because I wanted to filter packets few years ago and forgot most things.

    I guess Sanch0 will help you more :)

     

    Anyway problem will be mostly solved in FC3 - to the master server can connect only valid game (purchased). So after first time of being banned he would have to buy next game copy which is rather not likely.
