The P51D is a legendary aircraft, why would you NOT want it? It's one of the best prop planes made, and when it's modelled to DCS levels of complexity it'd be brilliant to experience something completely different. IL2 is childs play compared to this.
So then why don't The Wrights Brothers plane? It was the first plane in the world... the epic moment in the flight industry... and it is much more different to the Pony.
Even if there isn't time specific campaigns and scenarios for the P51D, it'll fit in just fine with the A10C and the KA50, yes it's not a jet its a prop blah blah, but I mean, going by technical capabilities I can see a lot of A10Cs and KA50's going down at the hands of P51 Pilots, consider this:P51D Mustang
Maximum speed: 437 mph (703 km/h)
KA50 Black Shark
Maximum speed: 196 mph (315 km/h)
Ka-50 can fly 600 kph :D
Just a few important specs, and yes the Warthog and KA50 have a technological and an endurance advantage, but realistically I'd say the P51D is a fair bit more manauverable. It's going to be close calls, but the A10C pilots who are brushing off the P51 are going to be suprised.Yeah missions then will be very realistic. Flying II WW plane around T-90s and perhaps BUKs lol. It can be fun once, twice, third not really.
I heard some enjoy flying this museum around Shilkas.... I remind even Shilka could chopp eaisily this tractor.
That plane just doesn't fit in modern DCS. It would with DCS equipped by historic architecture, terrain, world.

If you're complaining about WW2 planes, why wouldn't you be complaining about crappy old jets? The workload in those is pretty heavy once you get into the early radar age.
Old jets have something. F-4, F-5, MiG-21, 23/27, Su-22.... Cold War times... times of mystery, inspiration, and the soul of plane design on both sides.:)
I just don't see WWII tractor next to the A-10 over Caucasus. Maybe I don't know something but to what is it going to fire?
If there were more ready AI WWII planes, terrain, buildings ect ect.... that would change my look.

I remember good days sinking 3-4 OHP per one sortie :D I took few MK-84 and few MK-82 plus 6 or 9 Mavericks. During flight I was below about 27 feet, then missiles could not hit me at all but I had to be careful against ship's AA guns - in this case I had to attack from other angle. They couldn't fire guns too then :D

Nice comparison. I've always thought colors in game are not so good. I see diveplane says it is moddable via file. Is there any ready-to-go mod which I could download?
PS. Compare city and what we have in game.... we need more buildings lol.

Dude, buy one copy of any IL-2 and you are covered for life. Unlike some stuff from you-know-who.
Easy MP, easy setup, zillion of servers, players, mods, skins that can be seen by other players, etc... And, for your pleasure only, drilling sound of props, no HUD, and I even heard a rumor that some lot of stock aircraft are related to WW2 and, strangely, on many maps from that period. Dunno.
Later on, in case you miss doghfighting with fighter planes, after playing some tractors with AFM from you-know-who, install Korea mod.
Case closed. Open preflight checklist: Prop off. Jet on.
Yup, WW2 lol, I'd like to get real legends - MiG-21, MiG-23\27, F-4 Phantom, Su-22. But we will see what exactly it is going to be. Perhaps even will be fun flying tractor lol ;]

Well, if he is on server, he must have joined (even not directly to the game) and in the logs should be address.

Aren't those just network packet losses? IIRC DCS connects using UDP which is not the best in terms of reliability, and if more packet are gone such things can happen.

Just replay track with view options on as I did in my video of this cheat.

I reported this issue looooooooong time ago. I hope in FC 3 there won't be such things.
I saw Su-33 as Su-27, Noname player ect.

ED will just move some entries in LUAs to the DCS and we will have FC3. Then FC4 as it should be :D
Now more likely DCS is the core of FC.
