  1. Nah, that one I know. I am talking about dots - literaly - that are located at the ends of TVV "wings" one for each wing, and they're not moving, nor indicating any direction other than TVV. EDIT: It looks like: * ---O--- *
  2. :D Ok, that's pretty clear for me, and as soon as I'll be back at home, I'll do tests focused on this matter, but meanwhile, I'd like to ask You guys, what is another indicator visible as additional dots that sometimes appear at the end of the TVV "wings"? Is it indication of airstream separation or something? In my track You can see, that it appears when I am doing some more aggresive turns...
  3. Roger that, and thanks for clarification!
  4. I have cockpit screenshot: EDIT: I've tried to switch to AIM-9 and indeed this indicator appeared on the HUD, but it makes me wonder then, because in previous situations I didn't used AIM-9 (haven't tried to learn them yet), and there was no this Sidewinder specific circle between these dots. Instead there was only what You can see on the screenshots. Is there some specific button that enables this indicator only? BTW, I've registered track from my testing. Weird indicator.trk
  5. Thanks for quick reply, but this is not working as MRGS, and there's no typical "breathing". Instead, these dots are falling down until they meet right under this short vertical line.
  6. Could anyone explain what function is related to indicator that sometimes appears on my HUD? On attached picture it's the one highlighted with red rectangle...
  7. Or You can use Boat Switch Center, to try to lock Mav from even bigger distance.
  8. Actually, I am flying for a while on G940 with pedals, and I still have problems with this conversion. Before G940 I've been using Thrustmaster Afterburner 2, and for rudder I was using for over 8 years analog "cradle" on the throttle, and get used to it so much, so now I am sometimes (pretty often) forgetting that there's rudder and it requires legs to be employed. :-)
  9. I've seen on the russian part of forum, that there is new version of G940LEDS 1.1b, that differs in the way of configuration from the previous one (seems to be easier to configure it), but I can't see any explanation of how to configure this version in english language, so I am waiting patiently. I don't know yet about any other software that supprots button light management of G940 in DCS simulators.
  10. Have You heard about... Winamp? Or Aimp? Radio in BS was buggy, so if decision about disabling of this option was made with care about stability of simulator, I can understand this decision.
  11. The question then is, if there is plan to "give power to people" in future. I have a strong feeling confirmed by lecture of forum and especially wishlist threads, that products could gain rating and consequently interest more people, with such a move.
  12. I know what You mean by "dangerous direction", but for now I am focused just on enchancement of mission editor. On the other hand, there are games like OFP, or ARMA, that offer good documentation of scripting feature and modding tools, and look how great it is used by modders. Enough to mention ACE, or Warfare mods. I know that where is opportunity, there is potential for abusive solutions, but I think, community quickly verifies what products are usefull against all the crap created by irresponsible persons.
  13. PipOk. First try to sort out such a basic things, then ask someone for help in understanding irony.
  14. Read between the lines... :smilewink:
  15. Since I've found extended version of lua script that makes it possible to hide/unhide objects in mission editor, i can see that functionality of mission editor can be easily expanded or corrected, and all is needed is knowledge of LUA scripting language. I am familiar with programming in few languages, scripting for different games and systems (including iSeries ;-)) but... after a general lecture of resources avaliable in i-net (the common ones), i still have difficulty to understand some LUA-specific aspects of this language. After review of some materials from i-net, i can see, that syntax and logic is similar to other languages and there's no need to point me to basics. What i am unable to understand is how it's procedures are called from inside of game engine, how is functioning mechanism (event driven?) that makes procedures to be called, what structure of directories must be kept (if any), how to find out naming convention of game's objects. Does anybody here can point out, where i can find not-so-basic details about LUA scripting language?
  16. <IRONY> It's about cost cutting. Only one igla was sufficient to make a room for new politics - more compliant for neighboring countries, who wish to treat us to another partition of Poliand. </IRONY> Very interresting times come for us...
  17. Ymmm... not really. When I hear "archer inbound" i sh*t in my pants... almost. We in clan, are testing recently effectiveness of Roland and Hawk batteries, and I must say, that these are scary as well. For now, the only way to "outrun" these missiles I've found 100% effective is to hide behind obstacle as soon, as I'll notice that missile is on my way. Other methods are about 50% effective.
  18. What Tyger said is correct but for fast movers like airplanes. For helicopters evasive tactics should be different. Look in attached document. Helo_SimTecT2004.pdf
  19. I am glad, to hear, that there still exist some of my countrymen, that keeps to be kind, and cooking good. It's became more and more rare :D If it will happen that one day You'll be shoot down by any mig in my vicinity, don't hesitate to knock to my door. For sure, You'll like what my wife will cook for You ;-)
  20. So it's about time! I am waiting since 28.03, but it seems, like month. So much flying could be done till now in this time... :-)
  21. ...while I am still waiting...
  22. Thanks Migkiller, for Your information. It feed my hope and patience, so waiting for response from support is not so nervous. Have a good flying and I hope to meet You one day in my Mig ;-)
  23. So what can be reason that I've still not received answer about the same issue as migkiller's one? I've sent request from russian e-mail account (domain front.ru) about two weeks ago, and still no response? Is it natural?
  24. I'll spend time there, as I do every evening in last week, having a good time with fellow colleagues... :-)
  25. Bumfire, You're not alone. I've noticed exactly the same response of game for my music. I wonder, if this can be result of some specific codecs installed...
