  1. I've had also pretty huge stutters, then recently, I've updated video drivers, and this was good moment to review video settings, so I've applied some idea recently read about. It was, to set prerender to two frames, enable tripple buffering, and in game to enable vsync in game. And there's no more stutter when I am flying single player, or as client. When I serve, then still there's some stutter, but not so heavy as before. Then I was advised, to limit terrain visiblity from max value 150km, to something about 70km, and it seems, that indeed, it was what did the trick.
  2. Tornado, eh? Still have it on the shelf and like to <bizzare mode on> smell the manual from time to time <bizarre mode off>. Manuals these days have had this specific scent, promising tons of hours of good spent time. Especially the fat ones like for Tornado or Chuck Yeager Air Combat (my first original game on PC). These synchronised with precision to the second, runway bombing, toss bombing accurate to the meters, and LGB bombing from high level, when it would be possible to release multiple bombs in one pass and all of them was able to hit separate target, while using alarms to prepare passage between SAMs. And all that done without touching the joystick, which was usefull only in take-off, final stage of landing, and sometimes, when unfortunatelly i was involved into dogfight. Memories... Good to see, I am here not the only who have experienced this great simulator.
  3. After update to 1.2.2 I have also issue with messed up forces while using trimmer, but additionally, when I am enabling GUN/PAC then joystick is pulled pretty hard (about 1/3 of axis) to the left.
  4. Influence of Falcon4's black power i feel... :D
  5. Observe that just after the boom goes into upper position, horizon goes down, what means that tanker have dived into receiver plane, not opposite. At the first glance I thought, that receiver have pulled controls to crash with tanker, because he had no GAU to show what he think about all this situation, as I did many times, when I started to learn aerial refueling. :-)
  6. About turning, I think, there should be some radio warning that tanker are to get into turn. Now it's regullar, that I am disconnecting when tanker from straight goes into turn, because it's so surprising.
  7. Just one more remark: Learn refueling with heavily loaded aircraft, because intert plane is much more forgiving for throttle variations, and it's much more easier to keep the propper speed by observation of extraction and retraction of the boom, and the appropriate early throttle response.
  8. But to be clear. I've had some time to get acquaint with Warthog HOTAS, and I am happy with my choice. IMHO, the only real issue in all this situation around G940 is lack of any support and availability of spare parts for this hardware. While most of issues as You can see are manageable, still I have no idea how to repair drifting ministick, and as I saw it's construction, I think this one is beyond my capability to repair it. But besides this G940 is pretty good construction for... modding let's name it. ;-)
  9. It's showing spikes on the rudder axis that happened to me because potentiometer for this axis is supported from below by stiff plastic cylinder that is part of base plate (cover). The rotational axle in potentiometer after some time is starting to move sideways while rest of potentiometer is kept still by mentioned above cylinder. This makes potentiometer to return spikes when axle is turning. What I've done, cut-out cylinder, glued in it's place some stiff foam from the box in which I've bought notebook (the dark gray dense foam), and glued it to the base plate using double sided sticky tape. Another issue I've found after some time of usage pedals was spikes on the toe brake axis, but as described on YT, this time it was only required to tighten screw that is axle of rotation for pedal. Now I have two other issues that I am working about: - one with ministick that in central position still drifts up - null zone should be too big to use this stick comfortably. - and another one with upper hat on the trottle that doesn't work in Y axis. It is due to broken harness inside of throttle hande "neck". If You want to avoid this issue, just remove small screws (three of them) that holds this harness in place. One screw is above throttle's "main board", and another two are inside throttle's "neck".
  10. Let me know, if one day, You'll have problem with unstable axis signals. G940 is known of such a behaviour, and I have solutions for some of these issues, so don't hesitate to ask for support. For example, look in the and observe rudder axis (green one). Action starts around 0:10 time. :-)
  11. In the options, controller binding You have separate function for definition of modifiers. There You have to add this button as another modifier. Mode 2 and 3 You can only map in the Logitech profiler. There's no such option in DCS.
  12. What I repeat to everyone who claims that aerial refueling it so though is, that he (You) should find some regullary flying, "As Real" focused squadron, where at beginning he will be foced to fly close formations. After about a week of evening flying 3-4 hour long missions in such conditions, he will find arerial refueling surprisingly easy. Me personaly, after around 40-50 hours of such trainings, foud out that the only things that requires attention is communication with tanker, then keeping safe closure rate. At the current point, refueling is the same way complicated as formation landing. Recently, in the mission that we was flying very late evening (or early morning rather), I was refuelling and was so sleepy and fatigue bemused, so message "transfer complete" almost scared shit out of me. So You CAN perfect this "art" to the point, where You're doing it as everything else when flying - automagically.
  13. If You wish to learn air refueling quickly, just find some good Virtual Squad that don't hesitate do fly BOREX, and learn with them in flying close formation. After 20-30 hours of such training, You'll refuel from tanker easily.
  14. There was (is?) simulator named Jane's USAF, that have had implemented Walleye, and indeed, it was pretty neat feature. But AFAIR, none of ED product have had such weapon available. EDIT: Sorry Antonov225, I didn't noticed Your post.
  15. I have the same issue, and created ticked for support for that, but still waiting for response.
  16. ...While I would love to hunt'em down :D
  17. Buy 30 more licenses, and present it to 30 random persons who would never bother to spend money on such product and never know about such a great simulation. Perhaps the'll become infected. :-)
  18. Impressive! Thank You very much.
  19. Wow, that was quick! Thanks a lot for that information.
  20. I'd like to ask someone for help in starting movement of the SA-10 group in mission attached. I have created it from template and it stands still while is supposed to drive along the road. Then added some units, but this changed nothing in situation. SA10 Hunting.miz
  21. Would You share Your templates then, DannyV?
  22. To be strict, on the question asked in subject I would answer "until it will fall". At least, after the engines will shut down, plane still can fly inverted. ;-)
  23. Great reading, thank You both. EDIT: Weird... I look into this mission, and I can't see frequency set for Predator. Does it mean, that such a JTAC will be available always, instead of setting specific communication channel/frequency? Or did I overlooked something...?
  24. It seems, that You've understood it perfectly, but still I wonder, if You could provide mission file so I could learn how to create such type of missions?
