  1. Mirage 2000 in the colours of the Royal Danish Air Force Eskadrille 725 Draken. This particular one, A-009 is exhibited at Stauning flymuseum. To install, extract to DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries\M-2000C - you may need to create the M-2000C folder in Liveries for them to appear in-game. DOWNLOAD: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1793202/ And yes, I will be doing the famous AR-117 Danish Dynamite Draken eventually.
  2. Pack of two Mirage 2000 in the colours famous from the movie Chevaliers du Ciel. By request both a dark blue and a black version of the livery are included. To install, extract to DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries\M-2000C - you may need to create the M-2000C folder in Liveries for them to appear in-game. 3. Open the user files and search for legoheli in username to get all the ones I've made so far - there is a lot of them EDIT: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?PER_PAGE=100&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=6&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=legoheli&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC&set_filter=Filter
  4. Nu er jeg sådan set dansk og ved udemærket alt hvad du lige har skrevet. Esk 727 flyver F-16 i standard NATO-grå camouflage så derfor er Miragen lavet sådan. Der kommer en Draken-udgave senere. Translated to English: I am Danish and am well aware of what you write. Esk 727 flies F-16 in standard NATO-grey camouflage so that's why the Mirage is that way. There will be a Draken version later. Besides, the AATW F-104 Gate Guard from Vadum you posted is in Canadian colours with the Danish roundels applied afterwards. The Danish sceme was exactly the same as the Draken, a flat olive drab with registration numbers and nothing else. I know my liveries and I know them well and I make them the way I want to make them - and there are PLENTY of green-base camouflage pattern Mirages to choose from in the user files if that's what you're looking for, just cross out RAAF and write RDAF EDIT: And actually the danish F-16AMLU (and my Mirage) uses different shades of grey from the default General Dynamics colours.
  5. Mirage 2000C in the colours of the Razgriz Squadron from Ace Combat 5. To install, extract to DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries\M-2000C - you may need to create the M-2000C folder in Liveries for them to appear in-game. DOWNLOAD: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1765984/
  6. As soon as it's got admin approval you can get it from the user files
  7. Mirage 2000C in the colours of the 317th FIS F-102 Delta Dagger. To install, extract to DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Liveries\M-2000C - you may need to create the M-2000C folder in Liveries for them to appear in-game. DOWNLOAD: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1765076/
  8. Mirage 2000C in the colours of the F-16XL Ship 2 849 as it appeared during NASA testing at Dryden AFB. 9. Pack of four Mirage 2000 in the colours of the 727 Eskadrille of the Royal Danish Air Force. This scheme appears in the real world on Danish F-16AMLU. 10. F/A-18C skin in the colours of the Belkan 8th TFS "Grun" (Grün) from the game Ace Combat Zero. Set up your own B7R ace battles over the Caucasus mountains! Contains only registration number and nametag of the squadron leader. Available through the user files as soon as it is verified by admin. I'll add a download link here. Extract to bazar\liveries\f_a-18c - should be available for any country so you're free to set up a scenario fighting Grün as you wish.
  11. http://www.avsim.com/pages/1114/mig21/011.jpg Use the instruments instead of reference points to get an initial set of how to fly the MiG straight. If you don't know how to read the vertical speed indicator, it is the instrument with a yellow vertical line and a curve. When the needle is pointing at 0, the aircraft is flying straight and level. There is no upwards or downwards motion. When the needle points above 0, the aircraft is climbing. One small line is 1 m/s, one big line is 10 m/s vertical speed. Likewise, if the needle is pointing below 0, the aircraft is descending, in increments of 1 m/s. Once you have a hang of where the aircraft is flying straight and leven THEN move on to finding the correct cockpit reference points for the same desired flying! Just a better idea than using someone elses "feel" for the aircraft.
  12. As has been stated several times by the devs, they have no interest in this, they want to do a proper announcement with working videos, PR material and the lot of it. They want to be ready to deliver a product quickly after announcing it and they want it to be good. The way the F-14 was announced was a one-off, and should not be expected to be the way things work. What would be best was just to lock down or ban these pointless speculation threads (really just even more pointless wishlist threads anyway) and just let LN finish their work in peace without soon 3000 posts of people doing "speculation" that gets nowhere

    Whats Next?

I do mean finished, there are enough "beta" modules as it already stands, and while DCS aircraft are quite a task to develop, priority should be on actually completing work on existing types for the different developers before looking elsewhere (unless there are multiple teams working of course) I haven't purchased the Mirage either, but I plan on doing so when it's ready.
  14. They're not delaying the announcements because they cant show renders like the F-14. They are delaying them because they need time to make real promotional material, trailers, posters etc, it'll be ready when it's ready We are all dying for the announcement of what will be our christmas present for ourselves, but just let them do their thing!
  15. That is affirmative, trim works correctly now! Sorry, not a bug then, please close the topic.
  16. Trim does not work for any aircraft or helicopters, no matter if assigned to keys, buttons on joysticks or on hat switches. DCS does recognize that the key is pressed as in the Ka-50 the trimmer button sound is audible, but no result comes of this - see the video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUjpTgQtcDA&feature=youtu.be I have not had this issue at any time in previous versions of DCS System info: Intel i5 3770k Radeon HD 7870 OC Edition 8GB RAM Gigabyte Z77 motherboard 1TB Western Digital HDD Input: Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Logitech G25 pedals
  17. Well for one thing on Steam you get patches later, you get releases later, you dont get access to beta releases, sales are with less discounts than from the ED store, and despite you experiencing faster download times, I cannot say the same at all. And I have a gigabit connection so it's definitely not my issue. Keep all your other games in steam, that's perfectly reasonable and I do the same - but DCS is better served as a standalone without Steam running. The overlay tends to give bugs as well.
  18. Lansen confirmed
  19. Since some people dont seem to be in favour of a Viggen because it's not 'famous' or reknown: How many people here would ever have wished for a Ka-50 for DCS? How many people here really knew about it before it was made as the first DCS module? Now let me ask again - how many people here absolutely love it because they learned about it through DCS through learning to fly it and use it properly? As a Dane I would LOVE the Viggen, it made my head ring for a whole day at an airshow in 2001, but I understand it's not a famous aircraft, at least not on the level of the F-14 or any of the big WWII fighters - but that does not mean it's a bad choice for DCS. Its a multirole eurocanard, the original eurocanard. It's loud, it's fast, it's mean as hell, and gives new options since I assume the STOL capabilities would be part of the module if it's really a Viggen. It's not about what the individual wants in DCS development, that really, REALLY has to be stressed. Because if a dev only develops what others want instead of developing aircraft they themselves are passionate about, quality will suffer. And of course a partially Swedish dev team will want a Swedish aircraft. Lansen/Tunnan? Would fit well with the MiG-15 and F-86F, but probably not popular or interesting enough to sell well Draken? Probably too old and limited in application Viggen? Fits in with the F-14 in timeframe, known for getting a lock on SR-71, interesting capabilities Gripen? Probably too classified to be good and would suffer a lot from competition from the Eurofighter (just like in real life)

This is the most impatient community on the planet. Let them just finish the Mirage!
  21. kolga, personally I have not yet made a Yellow 13 skin, but it has been done by someone else! http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1305908/ I will make my own version of it eventually... I'm just waiting for enough time off from university to do so.
  22. The Vietnam textures really work wonders on this sim
  23. I couldn't agree more. Maybe as well with not complaining your personal preference of obscure fighter isn't being developed outside of threads dedicated for wishlists, those two things really are a huge problem about this forum.
  24. Yes, you simply use your account you used for purchasing modules. Sometimes the upload is a bit buggy and will send you back, but on the second attempt it has always worked! (This is RBDK from Es.info)
