I just got re-interested in DCS F-15 (I like to do both A to A and A to G and the F-15 only does A to A). I downloaded the F-15 Training Video Lessons. My problem is how to access the lessons. Would someone help me out on that?

My X-52 is acting up, so I am back with the X-45 while flying in A-10C. Isn't there a way to program the "A" button (or any button for that matter) to a different command with each press; e.g., first press white/hot mode, second press black/hot mode, third press CCD (Charged Couple Device) mode and then repeat that cycle? There isn't as many buttons on the X-45.

Forgive my manners; but thank to all of you who helped me better understand an outstanding flightsim.

While reading the DCS A-10C docs, I have come across a few phrases that I am not familiar with. I have a plain old Saitek X45 and I am not sure about certain stick commands. What is "TMS Forward Short" or Long, "TMS Aft Short" and the DMS, as well as the CMS commands. Could someone point me to an explanation of or an alternative until I can purchase a Warthog HOTAS?

Where is the Master Exterior Light switch for turning off all of the exterior lights before ingress to target? Otherwise I will have to turn them off individually.

Sorry, I assumed the A-10C was an Air Force asset. But you are right, it looks like a Soldier. Army = Soldiers Navy = Sailors Marines = Marines Air Force = Airman. All together equal ONE US Military

I was doing the Landing training; and when I turned off of the runway, I saw this airman running across the tarmac. Is this a feature I can control by adding it to my created missions?

Every time I load the DCS A-10C, I must go to the Options then Control to put in the A-10C Sim Controls. The game seems to be set to the F-15C controls as default. Is there any way to make the A-10C the default control?

I can not seem to find the key press for the Air Brakes and to change the HUD color. Do they exist in A-10C?

Just bought the A-10C and would like to know, does the A-10C purchased download come with a Flight Manual. If it does, where can I find it or is there a website that I can download it?

I just bought A-10C today. I did the download and saved the key#, clicked run; got to the screen that asked for the name of the folder to install to. I have both a DCS World folder and a DCS World Open Beta folder, which I use when playing. I also update each time I am asked by the program when its initialized (I assume that updates the Open Beta folder and not the DCS World folder--I may be incorrect). I am not sure which folder or subfolder to use for the A-10C download--could someone help me? Note: I have tried both folders and each time I get "DCS World 1.2.8 must be installed."

Thanks a lot blackbelter. I have not use the DOS prompt in over 15 or more years. It brought back memories. Oh, by the way, I did get FC3 install in the "open beta."

Thanks for the tip, but could you be a little more instructive? When I click the Module Manager, it sends me to a login screen. I use my DCS login and it tells me "incorrect login or password. When I click "Register" a screen comes up and tells me "You are registered and successfully logged in." What now? Thanks for your help.

I just downloaded and installed DCS 1.2.8 Beta. However, I can no longer get FC3 (F-15C). How can I reinstall FC3 into DCS 1.2.8 Beta without repurchasing it?

I am flying the F-15 and the radar seems to be locked on 20 NM. Each time I hit either the - or = key to change the range, it changes for about a second or two then switches back to 20 NM. This happens each time I fly from the Mission selection. Is it something I am doing wrong?

Since I am fired upon, at least 30 miles out, heat seekers should not be a problem even if I do a 180; secondly, putting the bandit to my 6/9, in order to keep him in sight, is superfluous at 30 or so miles out. I guess a 180 turn is sufficient until I learn to dodge the missile. By the way, the 180 turn worked 5 out of 5 times since I've tried it today.

I always loose at BVR; I have never gotten close enough to dog fight. According to one of the previous post, I should try to outrun the missile, i.e, when it is fired on me, I should turn tail (180 degrees). Is that the best strategy? By the way, what are those missiles and how many can a Mig 31 carry?

Why is the flight model in DCS F-15 so jumpy and goes off sometime. When I fly the SU-25T, it is a joy unlike the F-15. I have an X-52; you think it makes a difference with the stick modeling?

I was flying a mission today; after a few kills, my wingman calls out BINGO fuel. I had no RTB option for him so I headed home. I requested Inbound; I was given direction and then, a few seconds later, I was told to return to mission. How do I send my wingman home so that I could continue the mission?
