I miss FC3 and A10c I will maintain my patience. However, I truly miss my A10c. I just did another update (haven't played in about 4 days) and still I get a message letting me know no joy with my modules. I have read some of the post requesting logs, removing files, re-logins and the like. I must admit that I am a qua si-computer illiterate. For me, only a hot fix will do, or maybe a Bud Light. I am a grown ass man and I find myself hooked on a simulation--I just realized it. Is there any medication for this malady?

Is there a way to roll back the last update? All of my modules have been deactivated. The only thing I can play is the original DCS World--no FC3 or A10C.

Can't register Today I just updated. Now when I start DCS, it ask for a valid serial number for both A10c and Flaming cliff 3; then it says, "serial number for A10c is already bound to a different acct, and the same thing for Flaming Cliff 3." What do I do now, since I cannot play either A10c or Flaming Cliff 3 with the 2.5 Open Beta?

Sorry it took me so long to get back, but I solved the problem on a hunch. I went back into the "open file location" from the 2.5 icon on the desktop, and clicked on DCS.exe, four files above the updater.exe Icon (I guessed this file because it was an exe). However, the file looks quasi-ghosted out and I thought it would never execute. I then followed the login instructions and voila, it loaded. Thanks anyway for your quick attention. I love this site, at lease 99% of the time---smile. One more thing; I sent that file to my desktop as this is the only way I can get the program to load up.

I downloaded and install 2.5 (took hours). It installed a startup icon on my desktop. After double-clicking the icon, I get the "Do you want this app to make changes to your device" message. I click yes; I get nothing. I then right click on the icon and go to "Open file location" and click on the updater icon, again nothing (when I say nothing I mean it acts as though it is loading, for a few seconds then everything goes away). I then back out of the "bin" directory, into the "DCSWorld openBeta" directory and click on "Run.exe" and still nothing. I reboot my machine and go through the same procedures, and again nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Hello guys; does anyone know if the " F15 Maple Flag Mission" been exported to the Nevada map yet or if it will ever be exported? Moreover, is there a similar set of F15 beginner training missions for the Nevada map?

Why can't I ever land on the two rear wheels. I seems as though I always land on one of the rear two wheels? Am I going too fast or too slow (160 knots)?

Would you believe USMC Trev, would you believe there is such a thing as "different strokes for different folks." Some people are more prone to monotony than others; that does not mean the activity (or game) is not interesting any more. Maybe one needs to get a way for a while and upon returning, new found pleasures arises. Perhaps it is time to have a simulation which caters to both Air to Air and Air to Ground for other than Russian plans; hence F/A 18.

Done before If memory serves me correct, this has been done more than 15 years ago. I can distinctly remember when certain game programs required voice training. In other words, one would speak the command into a microphone; the software program would record it and associated it with a program command, and ultimately initiate that command when ever that verbal phrase was uttered. This way, any program can be tailor to the user and with any language or dialect. Surely, the advancement of verbal computer commands has advanced since then. By the way, my phone has a 98% success when ever I verbally speak during a text message.

I often wonder, will there ever be actual verbal communication between the pilot and other radio sources. Menu commands are OK for now, but why can't we actually speak our commands and responses. I know that there is software that would allow one to do that, but can this type of communication be incorporated into the simulator itself?

Both It is almost obvious that both employments are ultimate inevitable--land and sea operations. However, I must say, if recall serves me correct, the object was to match an aircraft, with both AA and AG capability, to sea operations. What ever the aircraft would have been, it had several basic criteria, that was to be able to land on a carrier and perform both AA and AG missions Note: if the F-35 was in full operation, it would be the aircraft of choice. Over time, because the #1 carrier base aircraft was the F/A 18, the spotlight shifted to the aircraft more than the operations platform. I believe that eventually we get both land base and see base operations. The true question is, which comes first--the chicken or the aircraft; Oh sorry, land base or sea base operations.

Save Mission Is there any way to save the mission? I got a quarter of the way and had to leave. When I returned I had to start all over. It happen again yesterday, I had to leave to pick up my daughter. Again I had to start from the beginning. Can I save and return to reload that particular saved point?

help From the Zip extractor, I get Extraction Complete. However, nothing shows up in the DCS 2.1. I started DCS World II, I went to Missions and could not find Mission 01 Open Beta. What do I do next. Sorry for not be computer savy.

Change center key to (-) on the num pad I changed the Track IRcentering key to (-) on the NUM pad and got the same results; it, again, centered on the stick. Thanks anyway.

I use my Track IR with the A10C all the time. However, I must have done something wrong last night. Now every time I hit the center key, it centers on the Stick rather than the HUD. This only happens with the A10c; all other aircraft centers on the HUD when I hit the Track IR center key (center set to F10). How can I get the Track IR to properly center on the A10C HUD rather than centering on the Stick?
