  1. Umm...I just changed it to "Shift + M" in the last version. Sorry for that, I thought nobody is tracking the updates.
  2. Well, I have managed to implement the same airspeed trimming law to the F-16Demo MOD and achieved the same result as in Su-27. No big deal, just a simple control law.
  3. 老爷banzai
  6. You can tweak the pitch rate gain and/or other gains to get 9G as I've done in TVC mode. BTW I've messed the stuff too much with my HMCS code and some hack in flight control system and Aero Tables, be prepared if you open the code.;)
  7. No joy. Cannot even get a right number from ED's EFM API. double ay,//linear acceleration component in body coordinate system Maybe this is a wrong output from EFM API and is not what is described by the comment. We have all been deceived by this.
  8. Bump, I just tested that and seems you're right. I thought it should show negative G in a inverted level flight. Seems that somehow the original FLCS code chose a wrong variable for load factor. I'll see into it. Thanks for feedback, didn't even recognize it before.
  9. I didn't say that the system CAN'T measure negative Gs. And I know your point here. IRL the F-16 uses a normal acceleration feedback in cruise mode, so it does try to maintain 1G when hands off and it will exactly create a huge loop theoretically. So does the F-15C in DCS and you can try it. In this F-16Demo, the normal acceleration feedback is not properly modeled so don't expect the same behavior as in real life. What you got is probably 0.9XXXX G when you're in a straight & an unaccelerated flight. Unless your AOA is 0 and your pitch is also 0. The number is rounded out to be displayed on HUD.
  10. Actually it is the normal acceleration that will be processed by the flight control system and be displayed in the HUD in real life. You can check NASA TP-1538 for this. Measurement issue. You can't just measure the load factor of a pilot himself from an aircraft system.
  11. Dunno what kind of Gs the F2 view displays, but in the HMCS, the number is exactly the normal acceleration (az), a linear acceleration component in body coordinate system along Z axis. Directly acquired from EFM API.
  12. Ah I recall it. Most DirectX Overlay requires Aero theme and window mode. I intentionally disabled rudder input above 600 knots cuz it may cause some problem and result in a G-LOC. For Flight Control System issues I can list more and expect imperfections since it is only a demonstration aircraft.;) (The aircraft don't actually maintain 1G in any conditions.)
  13. Very weird. Cannot think of any solution right now unless I find another computer that can replicate your problem.
  14. Hi. I've made a simple external EXE program for you to test the overlay and see if it will go black too: PLAT Overlay.zip Start the program after you have opened your DCS. Key command is only a "M" to toggle it on/off. Also be sure to remove the F-16Demo install or move it elsewhere before starting the program.
  15. The only thing I tested out is that everytime you use alt+enter, the HMCS will just froze. So it is advised that you not to touch alt+enter. EDIT: Not only the HMCS. Alt+enter will make the whole F-16 uncontrollable. This maybe explains why you can't control your pitch and roll axis mentioned above.
  16. Weird. The overlay background should be transparent as coded in the dll. Is there any process you use that also has a overlay feature for example the steam overlay? Also have you mentioned that you managed to make the HMCS work once some time before?
  17. Tested with some friends with 1920x1080 resolution and seems to be OK. Try out this version and hopes it would solve your problem: [updated, filed removed]
  18. Then it would be way too OP as I've hacked this aircraft to make it "TVC equipped". Just playing with several Aero Tables, thousands of numbers with Excel. But it still has a similar turn capability as a F-15C if you turn off the TVC and just stay in CAT I. AOA will still be limited to 25.5 deg or so in CAT I, and 15~16 deg in CAT III. In this version of F-16Demo, the Eagle can still outrun the Viper in a level accel. (DCS 1.5OB flight tested) And it will also make you realize that TVC is not a magic in a Guns-only dogfight. If you played against other players.
  19. Good to hear it working. May have to add this caution to the OP. BTW you can just try pressing "M". (Maybe an overlapping keystroke with Mirrors. Might changing it in next version.)
  20. (https://youtu.be/UpGZAqI3lYI) Some simple demonstration...Sorry for my low spec computer and bad landing too.
  21. Update 4 for DCS1.5 OB. Fixed for HMCS On/Off toggle so that you can turn it off any time, any where. Added a view.lua thus support for 6DOF view. Thanks to Uboats for assisting on this. Now the default view position and FOV fits the gun funnel very well. If you wanna shoot at something, just re-center your view and the gun funnel will predict the gun ballistics for you. And added a glide slope indicator when you put your gear down. Added keystroke for Nose Wheel Steering. ("<" and ">" for steer left and right) Fullscreen mode is supported and will not cause a crash now.
  22. High AOA behavior is fixed as described in the changelog, and the addition of wing rock seems good as well. Match the chart very well:
