  1. Just had a look into the files. Some sdef's regarding the hornet around sounds and distant flyby sounds, as well as some sdef's of the Mustang, Spitfire and Yak-52 and some distant explosion effects, have been changed. Also there is a new value in the sdef's: auto_width=true/false Sounds are definately improved.
  2. Nice work, but actually i like the tree shadows. Is it possible to add shadows to those trees near/in towns that don't have shadows? Thanks for your efforts, Mustang!
  3. Nice work, Megagoth! Hast ja eine Nachtschicht eingelegt, was? :)
  4. This is from .sdef file: -- RANDOM SAMPLE SELECTION: -- If you provide a list of samples, in this way: wave = {"sample0", "sample1", "sample2"} -- on each playback a random sample from the list will be used. So maybe you can edit the ExplodeGround0.sdef like this: wave = "Effects/Explosions/ExplodeGround0", "Effects/Explosions/ExplodeGround0_1", "Effects/Explosions/ExplodeGround0_2" inner_radius = 15 outer_radius = 100 trigger = true
  5. Many weapons share the same impact sound, that sucks. For example the CBU-97 sounds the same like the Mk82. The developers should really do something about that. That's why I stopped work on a explosion sound mod, because i didn't find any config or lua files to fix that. I am on my laptop right now, so I can't say much about your firing sounds, but the Gau-Impacts sound very nice!
  6. Since the file I've uploaded caused CTD's for LcSummers and I am not able to reproduce that, I think it's not a good idea to upload it as a usual mod. Maybe I can start a new thread (with an adequate description) in the Tech Support forum where I give instructions how to manually edit the file. Though I don't know if this is conform to the forum rules or/and to what the developers were trying to achieve with those "64bit-only-settings".
  7. I saved you? :D How did you manage it? What was wrong with it before?
  8. I am sorry JC, it's working fine for me. Have you edited the file on your own or are you using my file? When does it CTD?
  9. Hello LC! You have to edit the optionsData.lua located in your DCS A-10\MissionEditor\data\scripts subfolder. I did it with notepad++ because I'm not sure if it works with the windows notepad/texteditor. Graphic options begin in line 265. Some of the options (scene high, textures high...) have a onlyArch64 = true behind them. Just set them to false. Save the file (backup first!) and start your game. All options are available now in the ingame graphics menu. Do it on your own risk and don't complain if the sim stutters with high settings, if you get CTD's or the game even vanishes into thin air! :D In case you are too lazy to edit the file yourself, i have uploaded it. All restrictions disabled - you can turn on every option (HDR and cockpit shadows) and to high settings. Here you go: http://uploaded.to/file/orwv671i
  10. There is a config file that prevents some settings to show up in the ingame graphic options screen for the 32bit version of the game. It is cockpit shadows, textures high, scenes high, civ traffic high, MSAA 8-16 and HDR is forced off. It's because these settings may cause game stability issues on most 32bit systems. I have Vista 32 and was kind of disappointed I could not set the textures to high and that HDR was forced off since patch 1.0.0.8 though I always had no problems before. But now I run the sim with high textures, HDR and cockpit shadows (again), without any serious problems (sometimes during the landing approach I have like a 0.5s lag/stutter! :D) The only showstopper are scenes set to high.
  11. Wonderful !:notworthy: That UAZ looks like the real thing. What texture size is that ?
  12. @ Vekkinho I think it is the R_FOR_T.tga that comes with the mod. Just delete that file in the mod before activating it via Modman. But make a backup first.:music_whistling:
  13. I need some help please. I know what Mode3D, Loop, Front, Volume and Radius stands for and what it does effect. But what does the following change: Inside Outside Silence Size ??? And is it possible to decrease the intensity of the doppler effect somewhere? I have some real A-10 engine sounds I am working with but with the current doppler effect ingame, the engine-sounds just pitch to high in F3 flyby view. Thx in advance for any helpful comments. Regards
