I have the harrier. that runs just fine. just missing the ship....

As title says, after the harrier release update, the new carrier isn't present in game. Even checked the encyclopaedia, it's not there. Any ideas?

Is there any guides or videos on how to preform any of these manoeuvres?

1st load into a busy mission is like 30 - 40 seconds. Much quicker if its a simple mission.

Thanks, got it sorted though uac. So an update, I've got DCS running perfectly in 4k on max settings now. Low level flight in built up areas on nttr and Normandy, I'm getting like 100 fps and anything up to 180 fps normally. 4k dcs is glorious. So I'd like to thank Bitmaster, jctrnacty, David OC and everyone else for your help and advice.

Thanks for the advice, I have thought that my over clock could be a possible reason. I'm updating the bios tonight so will revert it the the stock 4ghz after and go from there.

Yes mate. All sorted and activated. Haven't run dcs yet but wanted to get any other updates done 1st. Looking into how to do the bios update tonight.

Windows 10 installed successfully. Thanks for the link bitmaster! You saved me a £100. Any other tips to get dcs running better?

Ok cool. All I've done so far was download the upgrade tool to a usb drive. I'll upgrade this afternoon then see where I am after that.

Is UEFI choose in the bios when booting from the USB on win 10 installation?

So I've downloaded the Windows 10 tool to a SUB drive... quick question, do you think it'll be better for me to wipe my drive and do a from scratch install or will it be ok to keep my files etc when i run the win10 upgrade?

I'm going to take a trip down pc world after work and pick Windows 10 so will start from scratch. I know AHCI is enabled. From what I remember, Samsung mag has the latest firmwire for the drives. I'll let you know how things are after win10 is on. Again, thanks for all the help.

Bitmaster.... How do I check my VRAM, CPU, RAM and SWAP usage? If there is an indicator that shows where the slow down is then that's what I need to do?! Here's a screen of msi running a test

Do you think the issue is with the ssd? Samsung firmwire is up to date. I'll run a defrag to see if anything comes of it but that ssd was clean and a fresh install of dcs a few months ago.

The picture below was taken after DCS had been playing for 5 mins. This was the huey instant action free flight mission. Unfortunately it took 12 mins 31 secs to load. Anyone notice anything out or that could be causing any issues?

All my temps seem ok to me. Here are some screens of my BIOS and overclock. Can anyone see any issues with it?

I'll have a look and post some pictures when I'm home... however this is a relatively fresh install and I only just installed dcs a few months ago.

Trying to upload a screenshot, but my sequential read is 2550 sequential write is 2074 random read is 30,504 random write is 20,585 that's with RAPID mode enabled on that ssd which holds DCS, not windows 7.

I had my pc built at a local computer shop which has now gone bust. So I can't take it back to check everything was installed properly. I know the basics but not enough to find any fault. I've thought in the past that it wasn't very quick for an ssd. My friends dcs loads quicker off his hdd. Yes, DSR is definitely disabled.

Unfortunately I have 2 ssd's installed in my build. A 128gb samsung evo for Windows and then a 512gb Samsung evo 860 pro just for dcs. Its just the loading times are not far short of 5 mins in 4k. They werent that bad in 1080p so I assumed faster ram would help?
